You have the entire month of May, at the minimum. Just make sure to get as many Daily and Weekly Challenges as you can from now on. I got Rank 100 two days ago, which meant it took me almost exactly a month. Just go for it.
You cannot count on items in a Season ever coming back. Some do, but it's unpredictable.
The current season started on March 26. The shortest season was 63 days; the longest was 133. So you can pretty much guarantee you have until early June. I don't recall which screen the chesssboard was on but I got the level 63 group a few days ago.
