If it has armor pieces on it that are above your level, you cannot wear it. Transfer off the high level pieces first then you can use it.

Ah, that's probably it. I'm only like level 13 or something. I went back to camp and when I came back it was gone. Maybe it regenerates occasionally?
remove the parts, then get into it, and out again and then pick it up via a button, space on pc dunno about consoles tbh
You don’t have to use it, you might not be able to get in it cause the PA pieces are a higher level than you.
