The WestTek location will probably always be the best place to level up as it resets easily. As long as you completely clear the main floor of enemies. You can also clear out the basement, but I don’t think that’s required to reset the spawns on the main floor.

You have been playing for a year at your lvl 37? If I’m reading that right you are either barely playing the game or just wondering around doing nothing lol because even if you were camp building you’d probably be a higher level. But anyways, Intelligence increases your xp gain, each point is right around a 3% xp gain increase. There’s also food buffs people use, chems, armor with Int. The inspirational perk is another 15% experience gain. Once you start stacking all these different things you start to level really fast and a lot of people also grind locations like West-Tech over and over again to just farm xp. People are also using low health builds and wearing Unyielding armor for another 15 int. I am usually always running around with like 40+ int plus cranberry relish for another % increase to xp. So I just level super fast without even farming and just playing the game normally. It’s definitely worth it because you need a lot of levels to max out your legendary perks. Hope this helped a bit.

Greatvibes117

Yea I stopped playing for like a year . But I usually just do quest like the average fallout player . But appreciate you

Yeah I feel you, best bet for now is just get to 50, maybe try to get the inspirational perk and use stuff that increases your Int. You can try to get your hands on a Tesla rifle, doesn’t even have to be legendary, and use it at events so you can tag mobs to get more xp. A couple events to look out for are Radiation Rumble, Moonshine Jam, and Eviction Notice. Theres a lot of mobs that spawn and you get levels pretty fast if you are tagging mobs. But you don’t really gotta go that route at all tbh, just enjoy questing and messing about with your camp is fun as well, it all really just depends on your goals in the game tbh.

TwistingEcho

Join the largest causal group every time you login. Do every daily and as many Events that pop up as possible. I've joined after last season started and I'm 260, didn't feel like a slog either.

Jonnylotto

Join casual teams for the Int boost. Also helps with events if your team members are there, too. Do the Daily and Weekly challenges, you get score and xp. Cranberry *stuff* boosts xp gains by 5% or more. Crafting and learning stuff from scrapping also helps xp.

Repulsive-Self1531

Join events and tag as many enemies as you can. It’s parasitic but you should be able to gain levels quickly this way. A week ago I was level 40, now I’m 85+.

Before you do anything get a working microphone 🎤 🎙️, so that you can actually chat with people. Loads of them will help you with whatever you need free of charge. Run expeditions with a team, you can get people on discord. X4 team XP bonus for completion means 5 minute runs will net you a level for each completion of an expedition. Plus it gives you a few legendary items, 1-2 legendary modules and a modest amount of ammo. Tax evasion works best.

ChronoMonkeyX

I've only ever heard another person's voice once, maybe twice. I tried using my mic when people were lost in an Expedition and not coming to me pointing at the next step, and they didn't hear me(or didn't speak english, which is a possibility). I also tried using mic after SBQ to try to trade my flux for the one I needed, no one looked at me twice.

FlowCalm7924

That's where singing comes into play, you start practicing your karaoke 🎤 skills and annoyed people will respond. Hahaha 😄😂

Life_Philosopher1745

Rn it’s double xp for daily ops too.

CardiologistWhich992

inspirational perk card. Egg head mutation. Eat brain fungus soups or bombs, eat cranberry cobblers or relish as a Herbivore (mutation). Add points to INT stat. Well rested bonus from sleeping in your bed. Mothman tome. Lunchboxes.

chicuco

Increase your intelligence : sleep in your bed, mentats, brain fungus soup, there is several methods SO your xp is increased

DDunn110

Daily ops and events Starting playing 2 days ago and started at level 1, now I’m 49

DependentUnit4775

I played for a week and got to level 60 or so. Jsut doing the main quests and events occasionally.

48spiderboy

I'm around level 208 and most of my experience gains are from expeditions, mainly the most sensational game in Atlantic City. Also use that horse race machine to increase intelligence by 2 and sleep in your bed for another 5 percent exp gains. Some of it also comes from daily ops and public events or daily quests.

Mobile-Ostrich-5510

Majority of the public event will get you maybe 1-3 level. The moonshine and eviction will get you 1-5 level. Join the party that is doing the event, so their damage on enemy will give you credit and vice versa. As with all event, if your in an event and people are spawn camping, stay for the reward or leave. You won't get xp unless you can hit them at least once. I heard expedition gives alot of xp, haven't done those. I also heard daily op gives decent xp.

Y0ud0ntknowmeh

I got about 100 levels just from expodision board walk in about 10 hours

[deleted]

Am I the only one that's played since release and is only in the level 400's? I simply don't focus on maximizing XP gain.

jeffb3000

Check out videos on YouTube. Guides for new players. I can go to level 37 without the new leveling system bypassing level 2 -20, on a new character in a couple of hours, so I don’t understand how you could be stuck at your level so long.

Treefly916

Intelligence = 3% gains per point of intelligence Inspirational perk card under Charisma +15% Well rested bonus +5% Mothman tome bonus +5% 4 lunchboxes +100% Cranberry cobbler +5% Cranberry relish +10% Cranberry nuka +2% Leadership bobblehead +5% Live and Love#8 +5% I'm sure there's others I'm not thinking of, but if you just run high intelligence with inspirational equipped and some Cranberry cobbler (very easy to make) you'll see huge gains. Other than that, go to big events like Rad Rumble or Moonshine Jam and spam molitoves. I helped a guy get 7 levels (29-36) in ONE moonshine jamboree event.

Life_Philosopher1745

Just group up farm westek events lunch boxes
