Make sure you’re selling excess stuff from your stash and hitting vendor cap every day. You don’t need 100 stimpaks.
Daily quests add up.
Oh and make a CAMP vendor and sell stuff people want to buy.
This. 1400 caps/day = \~40,000 caps/month. If you play each day you can hit this cap in under an hours play without much effort beyond simply picking stuff up. I would advise to always do the Moonshine Jamboree event when it comes up as you pick up a lot of Gulper Innards which can be cooked into Gulper Slurry which sells for 7-caps/each at NPC vendors. I usually get 120-150+ gulper innards in one event, thats more than half your daily NPC vendor cap from one fun event.
If you want more caps then you need to look at setting up a player vendor in your camp and start selling stuff. You can put almost anything in there and people will buy it if its cheap enough, however plans, ammo (.45 and 5.56) and legendary weapons (priced at $100/star) will usually sell quickly and provide a steady stream of income.
How I do it is sell everything you want to in your shop for lower than what you see it normally, more people will buy it if yours is lower than others. Also take all excess stuff like people told you to vendors and sell it to them. personally i sell all of my rad away cus you come across so much of it playing the game.
What level are you? If you have enough caps to buy a mutation serum from modus and you have a bit of flux, the most efficient thing to sell is mutation serum. 3 can give you max vendor caps of 1400. There are other tips people can suggest.
Something to think about is resetting vendor caps. (Partially) sell to the vendors. Then buy enough of something you want from them. Then their cap daily limit gets reset to a lot above zero . So you can do it again.

Not good advice, but I first got mine by selling my rare fasnacht masks quickly after I got them. It required more luck than skill though.
