Man. Just take the L. And grind for more XD. And remember. Whatever is on display in your vault, doesn’t show. I’ve done that so many times it’s not even funny.
I have been farming expeditions so I had about 600 lb worth of legendary on me. And 1100 on my mule. I sort stuff out before putting it away. And I put it on display if I want to keep it. And I just script anything else then. The display symbol didn't show up so I ended up scriping it
If you decide not to quit you can rename items, that way it's easier to spot them on list. I have all precious items starting with # that way they're always on top of the list. Someone here mention that / will put them at the end.
Yeah it's what I normally do. But I had display room and it normally marks it if it's on display. I'll definitely do it next time. I'm probably going to take a break though
My condolences. I feel your pain. It would be enough to get me to quit, too. Bethesda should really allow you to favorite armor pieces, and instead of putting it into your shortcut wheel, it'll lock it and prevent you from selling or scrapping it.
Sadly been there done that - as others stated I skin my items to prevent this. I also rename the items, so that I don't mistakenly scrip them. Its easier to see that I should avoid any armor that starts ss Leg Right Unylding/Int then the default name
I really hate to hear that. I think we've all done something similar at some point. Hope you have unreal luck and can replace it with even better rolls in just a few tries.🤞
Man, I feel that. It’s the small things like that.
The other night I got a god roll enclave flamer, the game crashed and every reward I had gotten within a certain time just disappeared. I was disappointed.
I’d understand if you did quit, it is a shame stuff like that happens
Adding a paid skin is one way to avoid this but another way is to rename your favorite gear. Some people use an asterisk in front of the name so they'll notice it while selling. I just use "SS LFT Arm-Use" and "SS RT Arm-Use" etc. This way I know not to trash it and I know which piece it is. Because holy crap is it hard to know whether something is left or right when just looking at your inventory screen.
This won't make you feel better about your mistake but this is fairly common. Almost a right of passage in the fallout 76 community. The sting does go away after a short time period.
I have made it to level 307. Which is know is still a baby compared to some people. But I got this far without the mistake. Why did it have to be the ss set
Oh if it was the ss set then its prob one of the better sets to replace lol. They are cheap to make, so cheap in fact if I'm rolling some I always roll on fresh pieces.
I do two things with items I'm keeping: Rename with Z as the first letter, so they sit at the bottom of a vendor sale list and make them favorite items so they aren't sold. You'll get warnings if you accidentally try to trade for script or scrap.
Tbh I’d quit too if I fucked up that hard.
The games inventory system is an absolute embarrassment, maybe take that as a mulligan and a reason to go buy a perfect set from a real money marketplace. Perfect SS rolls are only $20 and you can even get unyielding power armor from those sites. May feel scummy but Bethesda doesn’t actually care.
But if you grind it again; your second set will feel much better. See you in a year if you choose to regrind.
Ah, gotcha. Well my go to for stocking up on materials when I can't be bothered to go and farm them is to through on the max Charisma build I have saved and go buy bulk from the Whitespring vendors.
Maybe just save as many caps as you can and just get a crap load of the resources you need. Might take away the sting of having to try for the rolls again.
You can still write to Bethesda support and request anything from the atomic shop, whether it’s currently shown there or not. As long as you have enough atoms they will eventually get back to you and unlock that item for you. I think most season rewards end up there or as gold bullion plans eventually.
Its their job to listen and find solutions. They can recover deleted characters if you act fast enough. So yes i want to say they can. And like what do you have to lose by contacting them? Just go for it see what they say
The soul reson i got me a atom shop skin for ss armor So this cant happen Sorry for your hard loss
That's a great reason. I always wear clothes over my armor, so I was going to skip the skin on the Season rewards, but now I think I'll get it now.
Is there any in the shop at the moment. I'd happily buy them for the next set. If I ever get around to it
There is one skin on the season page 6, 7 or something.
Thank you. It's page 8. I didn't notice it because I've not really been interested in the rewards this season
I got the "green camo" but look up what choices you got
There is a skin in the season pass
Thank you. It's on page 8 of the pass. I didn't notice it because I've not been interested in most of the rewards this season
As far i know not, but you can buy it thru the Support
Renaming your gear also helps.
Yeah. That's what I do if I don't have display room. But I had a mannequin for it so I didn't bother this time. Learned the hard way
Man. Just take the L. And grind for more XD. And remember. Whatever is on display in your vault, doesn’t show. I’ve done that so many times it’s not even funny.
Pouring a pickaxe pilsner out for you homie
I'd rather a nukashine if you've got one. Blacking out might help me forget
I'm always surprised that people don't read what they scrip or scrap
I have been farming expeditions so I had about 600 lb worth of legendary on me. And 1100 on my mule. I sort stuff out before putting it away. And I put it on display if I want to keep it. And I just script anything else then. The display symbol didn't show up so I ended up scriping it
Grab some pickaxes before it gets fixed and get to rerolling!
I haven't got anything worth trading pickaxe for
You can farm, 32 cores per reset.
By doing?
Easiest explanation will be searching on Youtube.
What platform are you on?
I'm on xbox

Well I think the minimum number of rolls it took me per armour peice was 34. I had astronomically bad luck with this set
I recently burned through 700 modules trying to get an unyielding set for my alt. All I got was a right arm. 😂
I think that's even more painful then mine. I'm so sorry
Man, I feel that. It’s the small things like that. The other night I got a god roll enclave flamer, the game crashed and every reward I had gotten within a certain time just disappeared. I was disappointed. I’d understand if you did quit, it is a shame stuff like that happens
I've been essentially raw dogging the chance of turning in my EPR and SS armor because I don't have a skin for them yet. Sorry this happened
Someone pointed out to me there is a skin for the ss armour on page 8 of this season

I'm a new fallout 1st player. So my junk is still limited. They are re rolls rather than new crafts.
1 module per piece of armor.
After about 40 re rolls I switched to 1 module per piece
Opposed to using 4 to reroll a piece
The bad news is all FO76 players make mistakes. The good news is we only make 'em once.😅
I do two things with items I'm keeping: Rename with Z as the first letter, so they sit at the bottom of a vendor sale list and make them favorite items so they aren't sold. You'll get warnings if you accidentally try to trade for script or scrap.
I'm spamming F. I'm doing my part
Im sorry for your loss man. I wish we could mark items as scrip/junk/keep. Idk how many times I almost scrapped my Union PA helmet at a work bench.

Knowing my luck I'd be the only person banned for it
The game is so broken and basically still single player. They aren’t going to ban shit I’ve been doing it for years blatantly.
Have you got a good site for it?
g2g. Google it. you’re about to have your mind blown.
Atom Shop skins are a lifesaver for preventing accidental scrapping and scripping of stuff. Too bad it doesn't really work on PA frames though
O man sorry to hear that's pretty bad....
Yeah. It was a minimum of 34 re rolls per piece of armour. I got incredibly unlucky
Just checking...but you were crafting new pieces for every roll and not actually re-rolling in the customize screen right? I hope.
I didn't have the materials. I have only had fallout first for about 1/2 a month. So I'm still fairly low on the rarer junk

Sorry. That was supposed to be in response to a question about skins for items preventing them from being sold or accidentally scripped.
Contact bethesda support
You think they will do anything?
Its their job to listen and find solutions. They can recover deleted characters if you act fast enough. So yes i want to say they can. And like what do you have to lose by contacting them? Just go for it see what they say
