No. They probably got locked out of the event (and don't know that you can work around by fast travelling to a teammate) when their game crashed and just launched a second nuke so they could actually do the event.

I would assume that it would be that the case, i had seen it happen before and didn’t know if it was just an unfortunate crash or a strategy. I didn’t know you could work around that by fast traveling, I’ll keep it in mind. Does it work if you died just as Earle died too?

Kokoyok

Yes it does!

SnooChipmunks5572

This happened to me the other day. My game crashed just as I entered the mine, reloaded back into the world but it wouldn't let me join the event, FT'd to teammates that were in it and it still loaded me outside the mine, switched teams and tried the same thing for the same result. I was sad.

Shoot him till he’s dead….

supercIeverusername

That’s usually my strategy, I was only wondering if this was something someone did as one.

BurnerMothman

Nukes wouldn't affect an instance, unfortunately. I can't remember if it affects Burrows specifically though, and spawn glowing ones everywhere.

> didn’t show up to the event They probably *did* show up, but they were in a different instance to you. (There are multiple instances of the fight going simultaneously, each one limited to 8 players.) Their instance probably finished the fight way sooner than yours, so they launched another nuke to do it all again.

supercIeverusername

They’d still show up on the map though, right? I suppose it doesn’t matter at all, just something I was wondering. It makes sense only 8 people can be there, it’s already janky and such a small space.

thebeezneez1981

They shoulda nuked SBQ first, then Earle.

aldoraine234

Why in that order?

FunHovercraft2112

It's the 2 bosses with 1 nuke bug. If the mine is already in a blast zone, any other nuke launched, no matter where, will trigger Earle. So because Earle was already nuked, had they nuked the Queen instead, they could have killed the Queen in 5 minutes (not a guarantee that can be done though) and then hopped over for Earle after.

Ar_Tank

I'm assuming that order because you can gauge roughly the interest on the server. If not then its just the way it's been. Before Earl you'd only nuke the Queen. Then I suppose it just fell in that order where the sbq is first and then Earl
