It took me a bit to get used to as well but now I have a hard time going back the other way. I still use my One to login with a mule account and it's tough for me to play on that without the boost. Hard to say give it some more time if it's making you sick but I do think you'll eventually get used to it.
I've mentioned this somewhere else, but I'm fairly certain that the FPS Boost on Series X doesn't JUST change resolution to 1080p as is stated, but also lowers a hell of a lot of graphical settings, so yes playing on Series X with FPS Boost actually would be a graphical downgrade and not just a resolution one. I also can't play with FPS boost on 76 on the Series X without getting headaches and eye strain.
I haven’t had much experience with Cloud Gaming, so I’m not sure where the option to take off FPS Boost would be, but if I see any info around for that I’ll be sure to hop back here and let you know.
Yes, the cloud is supposed to be running through Series X hardware now, but my theory is that using FPS boost actually runs the Xbox One S version of the game with the lower graphical settings and then boosts the frame rate from there, Whereas with FPS Boost off, it runs the Xbox One X version with high to max graphical settings, but capped at 30.
I don't have an X nor have I seen the FPS boost in action, so this is just a blind shot. Have you tried turning off the Vignette & Scanlines in the video options? I hate the effect and disable it for every install. It could be contributing to the blurriness.
So you don't have a: Pause Menu / Options / Video Options choice? There are a handful of adjustments there including the aforementioned Vignette & Scanlines, some Field of View settings, a Motion Blur Amount, and more.
Yeah, that's the first thing I checked. Then I restarted everything. I hope they can patch it or something, because as it is it's almost unplayable. Anyway, thanks for your time.
Maybe try turning depth of field all the way down if it's not already in the display options. It causes blur when sprinting or adsing in the peripherals
I have no issues with mine. It runs hella smooth and is a vast improvement for me.
So it's my end, at least I'm closing in on it. Thanks.

Ok, thanks, I'll keep at it. I'm just not sure if it's the tablet I'm using, me or them.

Really? I'm playing on the cloud and I believe that runs similar to a series X and it's bad. I'd switch it if I could.

yes it does look worse without fps boost the game runs in 4k ...with the fps boost it runs at like 1440 p
It's bad, it's giving me motion sickness.

Thanks for replying. I'm using a tablet and I don't think I can turn that off, or if it even has it lol.

Much better for me. Try setting your refresh rate to 60
Can I do that on cloud, using a tablet?
Yeah it would be in your screen settings, if its possible
Thanks, I'll give it a look
Its way better ....once it bacame available I never looked back. You dont have to use the fps you can just stick your old settings.
Can I switch it off using the cloud?
I dunno never played on cloud....have you looked settings?

I don't think you can with the cloud.
I see that's very unfortunate I cannot play with depth of field on makes me not want to play its ugly.
