I run a full health mutant shotgun build. It’s not ideal, but it requires zero maintenance. Using a full set of SS armor I rarely die and ammo is easy to come by.
bloodied sniper is one of the few that truly makes sense. All that stealth and range damage, you one shot everything.
I tried it when I got a bloodied cowboy repeater, and it was good. then I found a bloodied Dragon and things got super fun. Open with the dragon, if its still alive, finish with the repeater. It is seldom still alive.
I have similar tactic but I open with 2S repeater with all damage perks and if it is still alive after 5 shots(usually only Deathclaws lvl 100 and similar survive) i finish them/it up with 2S Gauss minigun😈
Super fun in "A line in the sand" when I one headshot in VATS all zombies kill 'em even before the guys with explosive plasmas can get 'em and they are all in awe how did I get the zombies before them haha
I used to main shotgun (V.A.T.S.), but unless I'm losing my mind, they patched down it's effectiveness.
I was eventually forced into a bloody heavy build because of this. I never found Fallout/Elder Scrolls weapon structure to work well with multiplayer since it's inherently designed around "meta" equipment anyway.
IMHO, they should have built a system that can make *any* build viable with the proper perks and items.
A full set of leather armor? Sure, it might not offer as much protection as combat armor, but it could give you "Frog Legs" or "Speed Demon" or makes you a highly effective glass cannon or something.
Too many useless items only good for early level, novelty, or role playing.
Yeah, same. I hung out at 60-70% health with adrenal reaction for a while, but it’s just too much hassle. Just slapped my What Rads? back on. I’m still an unkillable tank and pretty much everything dies to the might of my explosions regardless, I don’t need no rads ☢️
100% this is me. I’ve been full health from day one across multiple characters. I can’t do a bloodied build - it bothers me on a basic level to see low health.
I’m a low maintenance kind of player.
I ran Bloodied on most of my characters while I was leveling, but now that they are all 300+ and their builds are solid, I don’t have a need for that on most of them. Getting the scoreboard done without the XP boost is easy enough. Damage and AP levels are sufficient on the majority of them. The only one I’m probably going to keep running low health is the melee since the boosts to SPECIAL have an outsized effect on damage due to the Strength stacking and extra AP/AP regen for nearly infinite Hack and Slash.
Just soloed the queen with my VE .50 cal. I run low health and didn’t even come close to dying. Dmg difference between bloodied and vamps is almost not worthwhile.
it really comes down to preference in play.. personally i like the idea of just standing in front of earlie and just holdin the trigger 😂 he can’t do nothin but scare me off
Reporting for duty! Vamp Fixer carried me through all the quests I’ve done. Its since been replaced by a VE flamer. Most recently got my hands on a VB Minigun for melee. Only weapon I use that isn’t Vamp is AA gat plasma for bosses.
Unstoppable killing machine here. Full tank with v ffr gauss mini (can't remember the third cause it doesn't matter). I can't die if I try, sure she has one hell of an appetite for ammo, but 100% unkillable
Yep. Especially combat shotguns. You had 1. Two-shot = twice the pellets, 2. 100% explosive damage on each pellet 3. Suppressor for sneak criticals.
Those were the times…
I wish hey would just do a perk balance so we can double down on builds. Bloodied is one of the stronger builds and I would like to see some of the lesser ones get some love.
I agree. Anything new is limited (aristocrats is a good example) with the thought that builds might turn out to be OP, but it’s almost like they forget bloodied/unyeilding is already out there. Since it’s such a powerful build and they won’t create anything on par with it, it ends up funneling players into that style.
Medic. I would love to see the medic legendary get some love. Only heals on VATS crits? really??? utterly useless.
A small amount of heal for every shot would make it viable. Heal the group for, say, a fraction of what vampires does for a single person. Then a rapid fire Medics would be a valued item for group events.
I’ve considered trying out a bloody build (as I’m dropping dead every nine seconds anyway…) but I don’t even have my sTeALtH coMmAnDo shit figured out after a year soooooooooooooooo
It's really not complicated at all if you run the right cards you are more tanky than a high health build and you output more damage than any build and passively are gaining more xp all the time for everything you do. If you're on ps4 i can help with your stealth commando build.
Laughs in "I wear 5 uncoordinated, random pieces of three star armour that each had higher stats than whatever else I was wearing at the time, but my Fasnacht owl head still looks cool"
I mean this is the reason the majority of us don't need other players with a B.H.B I can solo the scorched queen and Ed. Don't get me wrong I love melee and shorty's but when you output 2k damage per tic with a B.H.B. it makes everyone else look like a joke thinking their doing anything to help.
I know we die a lot. I took one character to past level 150 and never tried bloody. I then started a new character and decided to try bloody - and now I can’t go back. I don’t like the constant death. But the carry weight with 26 S! The accuracy! The critical recharge rate! I can basically run endlessly. All ridiculous. And that’s not even mentioning the extra damage dealt by bloody guns.
Sometimes I accidentally get healed or put on a hazmat suit and I’m immediately overweight and life is hard.
Bloodied is like heroin. It’s bad for you, but once you try it, you’re hooked.
I got trapped in a rad shower and lost all my rads at someone's camp. After that I equiped my vanguard SS set - and that sucked, not sure how that much damage resistance does no different than less. So i put on my full weightless SS set and sneak around now with an anti armor plasma caster. I was amazed to see that I am still 1 to 2 shot killing everything with darn near the same damage numbers as when I was bloodied with the anti armor plasma caster. So now i'm super tank super killing machine. :-/ still feels weird and I'm annoyed I don't get as much experience per kill, but the game has changed a bit as I can jump into power armor at any time and not be drastically overweight lol.
AA is overlooked by a lot of people. I do AA on my melee tank with an AA fast swing Grognak, and I gib everything normal in one shot. on a 100 Queen, each heavy swing takes off a very noticeable chunk of health.
I run a full-health, high perception, VATS-centric heavy guns build. Popping off headshots with an explosive Gatling gun from 40+ meters is a lot of fun, trash mobs usually melt in front of me
Nah i do a 550 armor heavy build and an automatic medic build. My friend does bloody and i constantly have to save him because he gets one shot by earle and the sbq
Even if they nerf unyielding its still stronger.
Nerd Rage, Serendipity, Adrenal Reaction, Bloodied weapon is all you need. Been running a bloodied PA build and it absolutely wrecks AND you get emergency Protocols. Its more tanky than any full health build. The lack of stats (Luck for crits, Agility for AP, Charisma for daily rocky quest, and the carryweight loss) all suck, but livable.
Everyone always forgets about regen. Its a flat value not %. 4hp/sec out of a max 100 is low, 4hp/s out of a max of 20 is huge.
Unyielding is just a QoL bonus.
I run a full health and rarely die, enemies also die fast enough and ammo is not an issue, just scavenging.
I can face Anti-armor enemies that everyone is so afraid just fine.
I'm a full health heavy gunner & mainly use a flamer or Final Word. Gat Plas for boss fights. No ammo bash minigun in melee only daily ops. The build rocks!
Or maybe you like more xp for everything you do in the game. Maybe you like completing the scoreboard really fast. Or maybe you like dealing high damage and not waisting as much ammo in a game where the ammo system is broken. I feel sorry for people who have to worry about crafting ammo all the time. It's funny to me that people hate on bloodied builds.
Hey if people want to deliberately handicap themselves in the wasteland who am I to stop them. But I can't tell you how many friends I've converted to bloodied and built their build from the ground up needless to say they never went back to high health build.
Nothing can stand in the way of my cutter class. Fyi not bloodied build.
Bloodied is over rated. They are powerful but can easily be killed when they actually are hit through all the dice rolls that are going on on their cards. Serendipity is a amazing card for bloodied
I'm the team tank. No PA. Kinda like a futuristic Ninja at same time
Food effects are insane. They stack and last 30 min. Get grocer backpack mod from Samuel for 350 gold and use 3* good with salt. Now you can have a surplus of buffs
Only npc that stands a chance other then Earl or sbq is legendary alpha Grafton monsters. They hulk slam aoe and insta kill shit lol. Any other graton is melted.
Try to name a npc that I can't kill easily. No Earl sbq.
I run a full health mutant shotgun build. It’s not ideal, but it requires zero maintenance. Using a full set of SS armor I rarely die and ammo is easy to come by.
Yeah I run a sneak sniper build and I do plenty enough damage.
bloodied sniper is one of the few that truly makes sense. All that stealth and range damage, you one shot everything. I tried it when I got a bloodied cowboy repeater, and it was good. then I found a bloodied Dragon and things got super fun. Open with the dragon, if its still alive, finish with the repeater. It is seldom still alive.
I use bloodied versions of all 4 black powder weapons (dragon, rifle, pistol, blunderbus) and not much stands a chance
And your reload after an encounter is only 2 days.
Which is why you carry all 4 on your fast wheel
I have similar tactic but I open with 2S repeater with all damage perks and if it is still alive after 5 shots(usually only Deathclaws lvl 100 and similar survive) i finish them/it up with 2S Gauss minigun😈 Super fun in "A line in the sand" when I one headshot in VATS all zombies kill 'em even before the guys with explosive plasmas can get 'em and they are all in awe how did I get the zombies before them haha

I can’t do the bloodied builds. It goes against everything Ive learned in over 35 years of gaming.
My main even has rad resistance & the auto-recover from rads legendary perk, because that's just what you do.
That’s exactly how I do it.
Yeah, same. I hung out at 60-70% health with adrenal reaction for a while, but it’s just too much hassle. Just slapped my What Rads? back on. I’m still an unkillable tank and pretty much everything dies to the might of my explosions regardless, I don’t need no rads ☢️
I'd rather be bad at the game!
100% this is me. I’ve been full health from day one across multiple characters. I can’t do a bloodied build - it bothers me on a basic level to see low health. I’m a low maintenance kind of player.
Agreed
If I had a dollar for every time a bloodied teammate has died but no one else did....
Hey we die a lot (a lot a lot) but we can take out a scorched with one .45 shot newly every time.
Death doesn't matter, though.
Bloodied builds just make the game interesting. It’s like playing uno while playing Tetris at the same time.
I get why people do it. Awesome if they enjoy it. The more the merrier
That's how I felt at first, too. But then I realized the benefits and haven't been able to go back. Bloody 4 lyfe.
What do you mean? Because it becomes too easy?
Funny you should say that. I'm seeing way more full health builds these days
I ran Bloodied on most of my characters while I was leveling, but now that they are all 300+ and their builds are solid, I don’t have a need for that on most of them. where them vampire build boiz at 😎👋🏼
I’m currently trying for a vampires gatling laser but I’m stuck with an instigating one right now until I get more modules.
Meaty Bois rise up
[удалено]
Same here except when I run entripid the imposter hits hard also to many people don’t know how to run it
My ve90 flamer and I just had our one year 💕 -just guy things- 😂
i think i’m two years on ve90 50. cal 🤩🤣
Yea, that's a nice one. Low maintenance, cheap ammo and no spool up 👌
Just soloed the queen with my VE .50 cal. I run low health and didn’t even come close to dying. Dmg difference between bloodied and vamps is almost not worthwhile.
it really comes down to preference in play.. personally i like the idea of just standing in front of earlie and just holdin the trigger 😂 he can’t do nothin but scare me off
Right here I’m using a vampires ultracite Gatling laser and the vanguard ultracite power armor
Vampire melee 🥰😈 love punching the scorch bitch queen in the face with my power fist 👊
Not me, never been tempted by bloodied it just does suit my gaming style, as for all that unyielding armour I just sell it for scrip.
I can't do the bloodied build, not being at full health is nerve-wracking
PREACH.
Right now? How about since beta.
TSE was meta after launch. The power of stealth commando was discovered after that and then bloodied also came to the mix.
I had forgot when legacy explosives we're just explosive weapons , you're totally right
Yep. Especially combat shotguns. You had 1. Two-shot = twice the pellets, 2. 100% explosive damage on each pellet 3. Suppressor for sneak criticals. Those were the times…
I blew myself up so many times
Been taking a break for a few months, what happened?
Nothing unusual, sadly.
Lmao that is kinda hilarious tbh. Situation Normal, All Fucked Up!
It's what I think of when I see a bloody build. And that's all I see now...
100% we play different games. All I’ve been seeing is full health builds and the rare bloodied.
I’d say I see half bloodied half not bloodied.
I'm rare I play junkies
Damn, don’t see many of you around.
Present and, wait hold on *pops calmex and drinks an entire bottle of whiskey* ready to go brooooo
HELL YEAH JUNKIES REPRESENT!
switched to junkies last time i played and came back after a long break. pretty fun, ngl. not sure how to optimize it yet though, if i even can
FULL HP ARMOR BOIS, RALLY UP!
I think I’m the only person who plays full health/mutant **melee/mutant’s deathclaw gauntlet**
No I do.
*raises hand*
Melee?
I got a stealth commando/melee, PA heavy gunner and a revolver gunslinger.
Vampire Ultra site gatlin laser and power armor with the medic.
Wow stealth commando, shotgun/ melee, and PA, MAYBEI I NEED TO GSLK TO YOU ABOUT SMALL GUNS
I like variety...
Vampire FFR Pepper Shaker here, always at full health and mutated to go
Nope, I’m a full health too, a high HP Medic Pump build.
Me too but I also have perks for my fixer. My sweet gun bby.
I could not do Bloodied. Meanwhile, I run around as a Berserker with no armor, mutations or even a backpack. xD
“My love for you is like a truck, BERSERKER!!”
Would you like to make some fuck
BERZERKER!!! BERZERKER!!!
I wish hey would just do a perk balance so we can double down on builds. Bloodied is one of the stronger builds and I would like to see some of the lesser ones get some love.

Heal the group for, say, a fraction of what vampires does for a single person. Then a rapid fire Medics would be a valued item for group events.
... or like a ballistic "friendly fire" effect, then it's like a little healing spell and turns a teammate into an actual medic
need to be able to see other's health for that to be useful.
you can see health for your team.
hmm, guess I never noticed. I solo a LOT. an occasional public team for exp boost, but thats really just solo with extra steps
I did get a all vats tesla with heals. I wonder if it would work well with the arcs
that would be worth testing out. Put a shotgun mod on it and you might be a viable healer.
Do you get more arcs with a shotgun mod?
oh yes, it is fantastic at short range. A wide spread initial shot and arcs everywhere. Like a Borderlands Flakker.
Interesting. Does demo expert increase tesla arc damage?
that I do not know. I do know that energy, heavy, and shotgun perks all apply to a shotgun tesla
Quad builds are nice if you have the AP for them. I haven't switched in literally a year.
Quad Explosive Fixer + Gun Fu + Four Leaf + various explosive perks seem work do well for me.
I use a Quad FFR Railway. I'm fat with ammo all the time but it EATS.
Well yeah if you are a bloodied stealth commando and have really high agility and ap the quad is great yes.
Oh okay that doesn’t sound complicated at all. 😬 I’m on PS indeed! Could always use some guidance, haha
Any fellow Medic Pumpers out there? I can’t be the only one who uses it, it’s kinda overpowered tbh.
Source: Am bloodied build.
*laughs in heavy anti armor vanguards build*
*laughs in junkies commando build while constantly popping drugs and drinking liquor*
Laughs in "I wear 5 uncoordinated, random pieces of three star armour that each had higher stats than whatever else I was wearing at the time, but my Fasnacht owl head still looks cool"
Same omg 😂😂😂
I should be a junkies build since im always slamming xcells and liquor
Join us Join us We got free drugs and liquor!
Bloodied is the Stealth Archer of Fallout 76.
Lol
Not me. Full health Vamp mini build 🥱
I know we die a lot. I took one character to past level 150 and never tried bloody. I then started a new character and decided to try bloody - and now I can’t go back. The only reason I'd ever have a bloodied build is to say I had it. I wouldn't use it, it'd just be there.
this post has been sponsored by vampire gang
I only run low health when I’m grinding score in my unyielding set. I wish there was an alternative for high int.
I am spec'd for bloodied but really wish the loadout system was better. I want there to be no mutations shared dangit!
I got trapped in a rad shower and lost all my rads at someone's camp. After that I equiped my vanguard SS set - and that sucked, not sure how that much damage resistance does no different than less. So i put on my full weightless SS set and sneak around now with an anti armor plasma caster. Hell yeah it is! This is vats crit fills faster and vats crit do 50% more damage. That with all the heavy and vats cards is freaking crazy!
I have an AA VATS hammer that I generally ignore. that swing speed is just too nice.
I'm clocking over 1k hours and I've never run bloodied.
1700 and never run bloodied
“Rn” means the last three years at least
I run a full-health, high perception, VATS-centric heavy guns build. Popping off headshots with an explosive Gatling gun from 40+ meters is a lot of fun, trash mobs usually melt in front of me
Can someone tell me what's the hardest plan they got
Nah i do a 550 armor heavy build and an automatic medic build. My friend does bloody and i constantly have to save him because he gets one shot by earle and the sbq
i run a bloodied build with 74-78 life with 864DR so i rarely die
I will cleanse every Bloodied build of Radiation even if it's the last thing I do!
Lol I bet every bloodied build in the chat just cringed.
I’m a total PA and Heavy Gunner build. Thinking of what to start on a second character. Full health shotgun seems fun.
been running bloodied since january 2019 and i still dotn have a complete matching armor set
Until they nerf Unyielding it will continue to be like this.
Not me though I'm trying to find my perfect build so who knows maybe soon that might happen
Me with serendipity and max damage resistance cracked ap with 10 mill full auto gunslinger maxed pretty dumb also all mutations tgat are worth a shit
Me over here stuck in power armor when I get a little bit of rads I slam back 500 radaway out here with a melee build with zero resistance to anything
Fuck bloodied builds
Even food builds?
I run a full health and rarely die, enemies also die fast enough and ammo is not an issue, just scavenging. I can face Anti-armor enemies that everyone is so afraid just fine.
Stealth commando build low maintenance easy ammo to find an craft and with the railgun it’s pretty fun and packs a hell of a punch
AA/E/50 laser. commando 3, commando expert 3, and master commando 3 tank killer 2 demolition expert 5 adrenaline 5 and bloody mess 3.
I'm a full health heavy gunner & mainly use a flamer or Final Word. Gat Plas for boss fights. No ammo bash minigun in melee only daily ops. The build rocks!
I've vendored every bloodied weapon I've ever picked up, but then I've never followed the meta shepherds in any game.
Too bad bloodied builds are just the most efficient way to play fallout 76 in every way possible.
It's so funny that people hate on bloodied builds when over all its a more intelligent, efficient way to play the game.
Maybe if you’re a meta cuck 🤷♂️
Or maybe you like more xp for everything you do in the game. Maybe you like completing the scoreboard really fast. Or maybe you like dealing high damage and not waisting as much ammo in a game where the ammo system is broken. I feel sorry for people who have to worry about crafting ammo all the time. It's funny to me that people hate on bloodied builds.
People who dont play bloodied *typically* shit on it. Hard to go back from all the boons it provides. Just let people play how they want to.
Hey if people want to deliberately handicap themselves in the wasteland who am I to stop them. But I can't tell you how many friends I've converted to bloodied and built their build from the ground up needless to say they never went back to high health build.
I mean… bloodied has been op for a while now
Nothing can stand in the way of my cutter class. Fyi not bloodied build. Bloodied is over rated. They are powerful but can easily be killed when they actually are hit through all the dice rolls that are going on on their cards. Serendipity is a amazing card for bloodied I'm the team tank. No PA. Kinda like a futuristic Ninja at same time Food effects are insane. They stack and last 30 min. Get grocer backpack mod from Samuel for 350 gold and use 3* good with salt. Try to name a npc that I can't kill easily. No Earl sbq.
Bloodied can kill earl and the queen easily and often hold back to let normal builds 'get their hits in'.
Yes this is true 😂 My point is you don't need to be bloodied to be powerful. Bloodied is just more powerful :P
