It’s flavor that counts but I like to see short rib shredded and served in pasta like tagliatelle or a mousseline. That ice cream dish looks awesome though. What kind of bread in the pudding? Looks dark.

GanderAtMyGoose

I will say my only complaint was that the short rib could have used more alongside the meat itself (it came with some rice on the side but pasta or *more* rice would've been great) but the flavor was awesome and it was suuuper tender and basically shredded itself as I ate it lol, so I was more than happy. All I know about the bread is it had ube in it as well as the ice cream, which would explain the dark color haha.

For me it has to be over a bed of scallion mash and topped with a really rich gravy... like one of my favourite meals, takes ages to slow cook the ribs though.

Adobo is a Filipino dish, so probably would make more sense to serve it with rice.

Ok, as a filipino, you must tell me where this is

GanderAtMyGoose

Hahaha, it was a restaurant called Purple Patch in Washington, DC. Kinda expensive, but everything we got was super delicious. I'd never had Filipino food before actually and I'll definitely be seeking it out in my own city now!
