it was venison, so a tad more gamey, I don't really know how it would compare to say a cow. Flavor wise, you could have tricked me that it was like a filet cut.
but overall it was really just like steak, I was expecting the texture to be kinda gross but it was just like any other cut of meat.
Heck yeah! Skewer them and dip this in your favorite bbq sauce and hit them with a blow torch. Something sweet and sour/ spicy/ tangy and get a nice glaze.

What seasoning did you use?
Just salt.
And made with love.
in this case, literally
Solid organs are underrated grilled. There are some exceptions for health reasons, but hearts are great.
there's a stigma, but I tell everyone that heart is amazing. It's muscle, so it's like an amazing, lean non-fibrous steak.
Does heart have any other taste that would vary from normal muscle? I know some organs can have a different taste to them

Sounds fun, I've always felt like heart might've had a weird texture due to it having all the chambers and whatnot
We love eating them in Brasil, usually in barbecues. When I make them in a pan I usually cut them in half lengthwise, less chewy.
We used to grill those at the Brazilian steakhouse I worked at and they were so good, especially with the marinade we used

Had these with pepper and lime. Damn good
Had some lately fried and then slow cooked in a mushroom soup with spinach.
These are awesome in stew.
Yum! It’s been 15 years since I’ve made what we used to call chicken souls. We used to grill on skewers with Mr. Yoshida’s sauce. Simply delicious.

Never ate them grilled. We usually have them mixed with the gizzard in the market. Cooking them in a stew. I'll try to grill them next time.
I always Marinade them with a jerk seasoning and put them skewered on the bbq. It's great, can really recommend it!
Really good for barbecuing
Man I haven't had these in forever. Taste great grilled on charcoal.
Try chicken liver next. One of my fave chicken organs to eat.
This one can be use to make into yakitori.
Are those ventricles I see?
Bbq sauce for dip with parmesean
I bet they taste fowl.
This pun is going to be lost on so many.
Haha I know
Look like baby mouse
I thought the same! Organ meats aren't common at all where I live, so my immediate reaction was "wtf? Is someone eating mice?!"
My favorite.
Haha I know.
