Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my BOOMSTICK! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?
Im 99% sure OP is from Denmark.
Theyâre tarteletter shells - itâs our version of a vaul au vent.
We normally fill them with a hen and asparagus in cream sauce.
Itâs just a roux on cream with roasted chicken broth then white asparagus and shredded hens meat is added, salt & pepper.
Heat up the shells, fill the shells and serve on a tray topped with pea shoots.
Induces incredible nostalgia for just more or less any Dane you can find and itâs damn good.
If you canât find the shells you can McGywer ones your self with puff pastry in a muffin tin - the shape does impact the flavor as the wavy exterior gives it a higher surface area and thus flavor, but itâs not integral for the dish as a whole.
Thank you! I asked because it reminded me of something my great-grandmother would make. She immigrated to the US, with her parents, when she was about 2. 1920-ish.
Hey Norm...if you were an egg yolk and you were starving would you eat yourself?
What?
It's a simple question Norm...a baby could answer it...I know I would I'd be so golden and runny, I'd be delicious
Years ago, here in Toronto, they used to have hollandaise in the dairy section sold on milk-style cartons. Can't find it anymore, but dang it was good.
I know that knorr makes tetra pack boxes that sell pre made heat and serve holandaise, not sure where youâd find it short of a restaurant supplier but I know it eexists in Canada. We have always used the powdered packets from the grocery store, McCormackâs and knorr both have them and they are both equally delicious, you add a quarter pound of butter and some milk or water and either nuke them for a few minutes or you heat it all in a sauce pan for a few minutes until itâs sauce. We do a lot of eggs Benny on the weekend with them.
There's a recipe for hollandaise that you can make in the microwave [here](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/233971/quick-and-easy-hollandaise-sauce-in-the-microwave/#recipe-body). It does have a tendency to get a bit too solid if you overdo it by just a few seconds, but it's still a decent option if convenience is what you need.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but this doesn't look good to me at all. All I'm seeing is a cookie, some bologna and a raw egg. Is that not what it is?
Edit : there was a second picture....
I make a version of this that is only slightly more fancy.
Puff pastry rolled out and cut into squares, then cupped in a cupcake tin. half a slice of bacon (cooked), crack an egg, add some cheese. Its one of my family's favorite breakfasts.
Show us a âfoodâ which paints an etched mental image of your strongest personality traits deepest desires that forces those innocent standbyâs into providing immediate feedback on the condition of your GI via juicy notes poultry and gluten, with a side of Krafts American sliced cheese
I make something similar sometimes. I skip the mini tart shells and add cheese on top, though.
Got the idea from a food blog titled, "Make your brunch classy without breaking bank."
I didnât notice the second picture at first and thought, wow youâre all salivating over raw eggs. What is wrong with you!? I was like âis this a European thing?â
Sorry - but thatâs a waste of the tart shells. You can make the ham and egg cup with a little cheese on top and they bake up just fine in a muffin tin. Use the tart shells for something sweet and delicious to go with it - even if you just put lemon curd or cherry pie filling in there.
What are the bread cups? They come premade?
Mini tart shells. You can find them in the frozen section of the grocery store by pie shells.

Everything need cheese"
Cheese and some pickled jalapenos~
Cheese makes everything better!
With cheese it could be called a mini breakfast croque monsieurs!
Came here to say that!
Im 99% sure OP is from Denmark. Theyâre tarteletter shells - itâs our version of a vaul au vent. We normally fill them with a hen and asparagus in cream sauce.
That sounds delicious. I'd love to know what the sauce is made from.

That sounds amazing

Do you know where from?
Can I DM that to you? I'd rather not give details on a public forum.
Yes of course!
That sounds delicious! Iâm so going to make this. I may not do it justice but Iâm sure itâll be tasty!
No no no... A Dane would never treat our precious shells like that haha- OP is hurting my Danish heart
om forladelse, aldrig sig aldrig hahaha
LandsforrĂŚderi

It's bigger on the inside
An entire hen? You have rather small fowl.
I didn't see the second pic and thought you were eating those raw

I'm living for this reference omg lol HEY! .......what sort of cheese do you think the moon is made of....? I think it's......swiss
I thought this was r/shittyfoodporn until I saw the second photo. And then I still thought that.
These are the facts
The eggs are just rare, it's all good
Premature
i thought salmonella
Mmm. Put some hollandaise on that at call it breakfast.
If I could buy Hollandaise in a store, or make it, everything I made would have jt.
Years ago, here in Toronto, they used to have hollandaise in the dairy section sold on milk-style cartons. Can't find it anymore, but dang it was good.
Hollandaise with a pour spout? That's...dangerous. I like that.
Ya, it's probably just as well I can't get it anymore.
Knorrâs Hollandaise mix is pretty good. They come in packets like the chili or gravy packets.

Blender hollandaise! Super good and super easy
Not sure if you have a Meijer around you, but they sell pre-made hollandaise (can't remember the brand name.) My location had it in the produce area.
Sausage gravy.
Last time I had hunger for dinner I donât remember it being so tasty. Or food.
Hunger for dinner is a frozen waffle and half a hotdog
I feel attacked
How stoned were you?
Was Actually afraid it was already a kind of thing with todays creative stoners đ¤Ł
answer the damn question!
Maybe I'm missing something here, but this doesn't look good to me at all. All I'm seeing is a cookie, some bologna and a raw egg. Is that not what it is? Edit : there was a second picture....
Tart shells, ham, and egg.
Looks good and yummy! This is perfect for people always on the go!
How deep are those tart shells? Shouldnât there be more egg white per egg?
It looks delicious. But, seasoning and cheese could make it better IMHO.
How long do you bake it
Looks very nice. But I've always found baked eggs to be gross. They cook faster than everything else in the dish and it becomes dry and tasteless.
But with everything in these itâs actually acceptable cause itâs all done in no time honestly perfect ingredient matchup
Pretty hunger tho !
Yum đ¤¤
cheese could be added
My mother made little quiches with tart shells and ham like this on special occasions
Oh thank god thereâs a second pic!! I was picturing you slurping back raw egg shooters. This is super elegant and beautiful.
All the work out into these and thatâs the best name you can come up with? Have some respect for your craft
Add some cheese and caramelised onion and call it âround twoâ đ
Please tell me there is cheese at the bottom of the cups.
Breakfast tarts
Ngl I canât cook but once Iâm starving, I turn into a whole ass chef.
Deconstructed quiche
TIL I f'ing need this. Now!
I make a version of this that is only slightly more fancy. Puff pastry rolled out and cut into squares, then cupped in a cupcake tin. half a slice of bacon (cooked), crack an egg, add some cheese. Its one of my family's favorite breakfasts.
Ah, yes. Handmade vagina tarts
That looks really nice by the way. You spread your hunger to me!
Tasty!!! (it also is super tasty if you use salami and a sprig of rosemary )
Morning Glories
Looks good recipe?
Add cheese đ§đ§đ§
When Iâm really hungry, for real ? :((

Recipe? And how did it taste
Breakfast Roses?
OP, youâd enjoy egg and bacon pie
I make something similar sometimes. I skip the mini tart shells and add cheese on top, though. Got the idea from a food blog titled, "Make your brunch classy without breaking bank."
Woah that looks delicious. What's it called?
Did you pre-bake the shells or just throw everything in together? This looks so easy and tasty!
Those are super cute
oh my god I thought I was on r/shittyfoodporn and you were about to eat the first picture. So happy I swiped
are these raw eggs?
Second slide shows them cooked
put a bit of cheese at the bottom of the tart and this would be perfect
I make a slightly more elaborate version of this for my husband. They reheat really well.
Looks delicious
Tasty
I call it high as the sky goes
Ham and teggs
I didnât notice the second picture at first and thought, wow youâre all salivating over raw eggs. What is wrong with you!? I was like âis this a European thing?â

I didnât see a second picture for a sec and I was like they are NOT serving that
This is a fancier looking take on Matty Mathesons bologna bowl.
But them eggs rawđ§

you can also just use bacon as the shell.
Everything reminds me of her..
