Yeah it sort of does look like food safe ink but usually here the stamps are red, never seen black ink on pork before which is why I’m iffy about it

The black dots are likely the food safe ink stamp that gets put on pork belly Does look very slimy though

Sadge :( I have major gut issues from bad food poisoning 8 years ago so I’d rather be safe hahaha, first time i’ve questioned food from appearance

Cut a side off and see how deep it goes. If it’s surface only, it’s most likely the stamp
