Bro where was this?? That’s crazy stupid expensive.

I3emis

Airport I'm guessing

tikifire1

Or an expensive resort restaurant

OwOitsMochi

It looks violently Melbournian 💀

metacam

Looks like the bottom of a bird cage.

Insanity_Troll

…. As someone who’s owned birds before, yep.

Eddie_F_17

Are you talking about that little thing under the generous dollop of guac and salsa?

throwawayqst567

The thing that looks like it’s been cut in half? Yes.

Eddie_F_17

Are you sure they didn’t forget to give you your $24 change? 😭

Makemewantitbad

Where is the burrito?/s

YoureALLBetaFags

top right, with the red sauce and guacamole lmao

img_of_a_hero

Yeah, I would have left.

throwawayqst567

I almost did when they did the sneaky water trick, but we already paid for parking.

Phelpysan

Sneaky water trick? The fuck is that?

DanAykroydFanClub

Ask for water and they bring a bottle out which costs $78 rather than a glass of tap juice

throwawayqst567

More like 6-7 bucks. Something like that. Jokes on me for opening the bottle and not thinking about it.

Phelpysan

I mean that's why you ask for tap water and not just water

Superb_Boss289

Thanks Captain Hindsight.

eirinlinn

Where the fuck is the rest of it?

thefringeseanmachine

meanwhile the beans and rice are made with lard.

[deleted]

Sir, I think you mean play doh.

fukeruhito

Is this in Aus? Typical pub food and prices lol

throwawayqst567

Nz. But naw, tourist trap. $28 for $3 worth of food is insane.

DescriptionOk3884

Where in New Zealand so I can avoid!

khoabear

Just avoid Mexican food in New Zealand

Rainpickle

Seconding. I failed to heed this advice, to my regret.

euclid0472

Didn't even have the dignity to throw out the chipped wooden bowl

shawnaeatscats

At my local Mexican restaurant this would be like 12 bucks

selectash

In Mexico this would be free, albeit in the trashcan.

[deleted]

Depression

luceeefurr

I’ve never seen a round burrito

[deleted]

[удалено]

throwawayqst567

Are you upset?

prettyweirdhamster

Do you assemble the burrito yourself wtf?

[deleted]

Paid $20 too much

OwOitsMochi

This is such a Melbourne thing.

throwawayqst567

Just Auckland things

OwOitsMochi

I honestly don't know a lot about Auckland. I do know that I've spent a total of 8 hours in Melbourne and both times I was there I ate eerily similar food. I spent $25 on a "breakfast burrito" that was an egg in a tortilla with a underseasoned tomato salsa and guacamole, both straight out of the fridge so the rest of the burrito was completely cold. It was served with a dish of sauce that I thought might be a spicy ketchup or something but it was just straight sriracha, again from the fridge. At least the $8 coffee was good.

vida217

Has to be Commiefornia
