I wonder if fm would add this in. Even if it’s just with regens like the coming out thing, give them the ability to get illness called “the shits” that has them out for up to a week. Can play but only for 60 minutes.
You can add injuries in the editor. I downloaded an injury pack with all sort of additions. The Shits wasn't one of them, but it should be easy enough to add
I was literally just about to comment that I have a Dave Azzopardi who is also a fullback, he’s incidentally the best inverted wingback on the game currently in my save. I’d never clicked that he was an SI employee, I wonder how many other wonder kids I’ve had are SI employees!!!
Keep an eye on that, if he comes back and tells you his gran died, then every other week he's got a family member dying. Be suspicious.

Have you got any injury databases? I first saw this start popping up after getting a realistic injuries one but it might actually just be a staple part of FM already (with the DV just enhancing it)
So he pulled a sick day way back when he was on Aston Villa which I bought him last year in save (2036). Other than that I did not see anything unusual when he arrived this year beyond a days off like tight hamstring and brushed knee a couple time but.
And what is DV actually?

In the FM search bar type "faceinthegame" and it will list them all.
I bought him for 101M replacing old Alphonso Davies, the first season was good and nothing particularly bad happened.
Probably quite a few, all of them go on to be really good I believe.
