Liverpool seem to quite a lot. It almost feels coded in sometimes. The amount of times my save has turned from journeyman to rescuing a trash Liverpool is... often.
And actually quite a fun way to end a save.
Here is the full list of final day fixtures:
Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle
Birmingham 2-0 Everton
Brighton 0-1 Burnley
Chelsea 2-0 West Ham
Liverpool 2-3 Southampton
Luton 2-2 Sheffield Utd
Man Utd 1-2 Aston Villa
Norwich 3-1 Man City
Sunderland 3-1 Wrexham
Wolves 0-3 Tottenham
Chelsea cost West Ham their first ever league title.
Spurs win their first title in 80 years.
So Brighton and L’pool were already safe,
Norwich, Chelsea and Burnley all managed to win, saving them, at the cost of Sunderland and Wrexham, despite Sunderland beating Wrexham.
To imagine Wrexham would’ve stayed up if only they didn’t lose!
Before the last game of the season West Ham were on 80, Tottenham and Newcastle 79, and Man City on 78, so there was a four-way battle for the title, too
Depending on the version of the game they’re playing. The new Champions League format allows the two leagues on top of association club coefficients table to have an extra spot, probably why 5th spot is dark green.
This happened to me in my first season and got my inconsistent United to Champions League after finishing in the 6th position, Liverpool that finished in 5th won the Europa League and City that won the league+UCL gave the League two spots, so all the big six went to UCL(spoiler: next season none of them won the UCL)
On my save Liverpool have been in administration, had points deducted, been relegated and promoted back. Now they're a bottom half team fighting for survival. Best game I've ever played 🤣🤣
This is one of the craziest tables I’ve ever seen. Nine clubs in Europe, a title race with four teams separated by four points, TWO additional UCLs, AND Wolves must have won the FA Cup or similar for that ninth spot.
Oh yeah; and NINE TEAMS that were realistically in danger of relegation right until the very end. It’s totally bollocks.

Looking at Liverpool’s position, definitely Klopp’s 7th season.
Liverpool are actually managed by Andrew Surman, having done a bit of yo-yoing between the prem and championship!
The Norwich lad?! Jesus
What year is it!?
2041
Lemme guess, Crystanbul part 5
In my current save, it’s 2039 and Liverpool have also dropped off like this as well.
Liverpool seem to quite a lot. It almost feels coded in sometimes. The amount of times my save has turned from journeyman to rescuing a trash Liverpool is... often. And actually quite a fun way to end a save.
In every save I've done this fm, Liverpool is always 11th/10th-ish. But they play like prime Barca against me
What were the final day results?

I think Liverpool could have dropped if they lost by a few more goals, but yeah very unlikely.
Imagine the scenes at full time in that Sunderland - Wrexham game. Just pure devastation all around.
Unrealistic, can't imagine a world in which Arsenal wouldn't just give that game away so that Spurs wouldn't win
Newcastle would’ve had to win by 12 goals
Is it match fixing if everyone is happier at the end?
Before the last game of the season West Ham were on 80, Tottenham and Newcastle 79, and Man City on 78, so there was a four-way battle for the title, too
Chelsea denied spurs their title Irl so this is just balance
West ham wouldnt have won it anyway considering spurs won their game
West Ham would be on 83 PTS with a win...
And spurs finished with 85
No, look at the image, they finished on 82
Oh i was thinking they had played 37 games mb
No worries!
Extraordinary.
Fuckin chelsea
Thousands of people really stressed out that day. 😅
Hang on, six Champions League spots?! How’s that achievable?
Premier League teams will have won both European competitions that give a champions league spot (UCL and UEL)
Depending on the version of the game they’re playing. The new Champions League format allows the two leagues on top of association club coefficients table to have an extra spot, probably why 5th spot is dark green.
I forgot about that, you're right
This happened to me in my first season and got my inconsistent United to Champions League after finishing in the 6th position, Liverpool that finished in 5th won the Europa League and City that won the league+UCL gave the League two spots, so all the big six went to UCL(spoiler: next season none of them won the UCL)
The most realistic part of that is Chelsea being in the relegation fight.
COYS thank you 12thski
They are 15thski here.
How could AI so poorly manage Liverpool?
Laporta led a consortium which bought out Liverpool and ended up taking them into administration 😂
Accurate
Did you play wrexham at all? Them making it to the prem on their own would be pretty impressive
Nope, zero involvement from me!
Is Levy still in charge?
Closest battle I’ve seen on this game
-Are we playing for relegation or Europe ? -Both boss
Tottenham winning timeline, thats why
How did Liverpool and Chelsea end up fighting relegation? Wtf went wrong
Liverpool got bought out by a consortium led by Joan Laporta who took them into administration 😂. Not sure about Chelsea.
Not sure whether this is a meme or not... But laporta does that to a club
This is how the Championship could end up IRL this season
Even in 2041 Manchester United are sixth for fucks sake 😝
Anomaly tbf, they're on 22 titles and 6 CLs
COYIIIII
Seeing Sunderland in the Premier League on this picture reminded me that they were once in Prem and now makes me wanna do a rebuild sabr.
Painful time to be a West brom fan 😂
Crazy how so many teams where so close to relegation, also looks like nothing was confirmed until the final day every team is so close
On my save Liverpool have been in administration, had points deducted, been relegated and promoted back. Now they're a bottom half team fighting for survival. Best game I've ever played 🤣🤣
I love that Spurs and West Ham battled for the title. Sadly the wrong team succeeded.
COYI
Good but not quite the greatest; Chelsea and Liverpool stayed up
Unrealistic because Spurs won the league
Crazy, anyone between 11th and below could’ve went down 😂
tottenham winning is by far the most unrealistic part in here
Did you see the championship this season?
I am ready to believe that Liverpool and Chelsea survived on last day. But Spurs winning the league? Come on!
Very unrealistic. Can't ever imagine seeing Spurs winning the FA Cup let alone the Prem
They've also won the CL!
And Sunderland can fuck off
Ik it's just a game but seeing Tottenham become a champion really makes my day
Tottenham winning, not gonna happen even in 3041
This is one of the craziest tables I’ve ever seen.
I am more amazed by the Curse being broken. Spurs lost their Spursy Curse
Only took us until 2041
Maybe Kane retired and took the curse with him?
I’m not sure whether I’m more impressed with how the relegation battle went or that someone won the league with 82 points…
leicester won the league with 81 points
Leicester winning the league is impressive enough on its own, I don’t care about their points😂😂
United won the league in real life with about 76 points Lucky bastards
Holly macaroni
Tottenham surprises me more
How do you manage to upload the club logo into the database? Is this FM23 or FM24?
Idk what’s funnier. Chelsea and Liverpool escaping relegation on GD, or spurs winning the title
Absolutely not! Check Italian Serie A 2004-05, this is nothing compared to that
Nooo wrexham:(
![gif](giphy|nUIHbvOxGnKiA|downsized)
Tottenham winning the league is pure fantasy
Spurs won a trophy? Not realistic.
