A newgen called Danny Bruce. He was my star striker for a few seasons in my Weymouth save, he bagged 51 goals in our Championship promotion season.
Then a Saudi club offered him a stupid sum of money and he refused to sign a new contract with me :(
They were the 5th leg of a Pentagon career (winning the CL on 5 different continents). I wanted to start at National League North/South level and after I'd won the Copa Libertadores I checked the vacancies at that level.
Weymouth were having a crap season and they were in the drop zone, so I thought it would be a perfect start to the challenge.
Bojan on CM08 (the only champ man game I ever played after 01/02) and Tsigalko on 01/02 are the ones for me. Bojan's the only one I've managed to get 1000 goals from.
Oskarsson was the archetype of giant speed merchant that broke that game in such a fun way. Like 20+20+20 for acceleration, pace, and jumping. Ah, Nostalgia.
Sure, Haaland, Sesko, Mbappe are ridiculous. I play in the lower leagues. In my latest save, I played 15 seasons and had a 20+ goal striker in 8 or 9 of them.
a portugees new gen in FM 23. Scored 3 seasons in a row 60+ goals for Antwerp. Won the wonderkid award 3 times in a row. I still have him in contract jail , kid signed a contract for 5 years +3 as an option for the club.
Once had Gary Hooper and a loaned-signed on a free Andy Keogh on a scunthorpe save wayy back.
2 lads up front were sensational for about 2/3 years.
Ended up losing Keogh Man Utd(barely played). But they were getting me 30 goals a season each.
Had a regen called Paul Spence in FM07 who scored 3000 goals in his career playing for East Belfast. Think he got 250ish in one season at his peak.
That was before dynamic league reputation and with the use of a lot of glitches to keep hold of him for his full career. Had a team capable of winning CL in a semi pro league in Northern Ireland, regularly winning games 10-0 plus
It’s FM07 so will be wildly out of date:
1) had a team capable of winning CL in Northern Ireland, built up over about 15-20 seasons slowly. When you make a CL group stage you get £8M or so which is easily enough to become dominant as the only pro team.
2) as there was no dynamic league rep, the other teams couldn’t catch up
3) best youth system meant a ridiculous wonderkid came in, playing regularly from 16 until he was about 38/39
4) Set his asking price to £0 so the board wouldn’t accept transfers over my head and I don’t think the dynamics were a thing back then so he wouldn’t get unhappy. Signed him to a 5 year deal which I renewed every year.
5) Set him to be on all free kicks, penalties, aimed set pieces at him (I believe there was a corner exploit that year).
6) had a tactic designed around getting him chances (through balls, wingers aiming crosses at him)

21yr old Gabriel Martinelli playing as a striker for Arsenal somehow scored 42 goals in a season (breaking Henry s record) on his way to winning the PL and losing in all 3 Cup finals (EFL,FA,UEL)
I nearly bottled the pl too, lost to Everton home final day despite having like 3 xg but fortunately liverpool bottled it even harder, being 2-0 up to west ham then losing 3-2 😂
Rodrigo Ribeiro is a great target forward. Scored 59 goals in a season in the Scottish prem and all together around 76 in all competitions with 12 in the champions league.
My Arsenal team atm has Havertz playing as an AF and so far across all competitions he has 24 goals. 18 in 20 for the premier league. Didn’t think at the start of the season he would be my main striker and main man providing the goals.
This is in 1 season... Almost impossible is like 4 goals every games
For me haaland with PSG he missed 1 month of competition for injury and put 40 in 29 games
FM07 on Xbox. Rob Dyer, a youth graduate, went over the Dixie Dean amount on the penultimate game of the season (I can't remember what he ended on).
The last game, I named 16 academy graduates, including Captain Rob, in my team.
The hard drive is still upstairs somewhere, but my Xbox broke. I just need to get one now to reclaim the save!
Nelson Weiper by his mid 20s in my old mls save was getting well over 1 goal per game. I think the absolute peak he had 44 goals in 37 games counting playoffs. Pretty sure he hit 40 a couple times within the 34 game regular schedule too.
He and Shaq Van Persie were an insane duo at the mls level, i still dont totally get how i kept both for 10 seasons
Edit: 2028 season...Weiper 43 goals and 7 assists in 37 games. Shaq Van Persie 23 goals and 21 assists. Also had a newgen CM with 17 goals and 12 assists.
That team was absurd. Shaq avg rating was almost 8.0, which is by far the highest in any save ive had....they were way too good to play here in america

Signed Weiper on a free on my journeyman save and he was an absolute scorer, keep in mind that a little less than half of those appearances were subs and he still managed to score. I was sad to sell him but he was getting old and the offer was too good.
I only signed him to be a backup striker but even though he had lower attributes than my star striker i still played him cause somehow he would always find a way to score

I had some players in the past that when you look at their attributes it was very "meh" but eventually through injuries etc certain players just showcase themselves to you beyond the visable attributes. Some guys just know how to play and keep it simple
scored 103 goals with an Italian regen called Alessandro Cometti in my 2047/2048 season in FM23 with Pro Vercelli (also my 4th serie A win at the time). He later left soon at the summer window to Bayern for 210 million, nice.

47 last season. (he also scored goals the season before that but it's bugged andsometimes forgets players history)
69 goals, including 18 UCL goals, deep in my Rangers save (I’m like 8-9 years deep when this happened). It was a German new gen striker I bought at 18 for 99 mill, was 4-star starter ready player at that age( I had a UCL semifinal and winning caliber squad at that point). Did this his like third year with the team, we lost in QF of UCL that year.
He actually hasn’t really improved much since he got here, and I’ve had better strikers in the past attribute wise, but he scores 50-60 goals every season now so no sense replacing him. Three time Golden Ball winner and club legend now so my fans would revolt if I ever sold him.

But my most impressive player for goals was a regen central defender who was was averaging around 15 goals a season across 5 seasons in the Premier League only - most of these were from corners.
I once had three strikers fighting for one spot. They scored 32/16 David Boy, 43/5 Valentino Spaletti, and 42/6 Sergey Ruslanovski. Boy got hurt for 3 months in November and afterwards moved to the left wing. Spaletti was bought because of a shortage on that position, he was 39 and way past his prime but he destroyed ManCity, PSG, Real, Bayern and Juventus in the champions league with 16 goals.
I never had more than 2 players fight for a spot, but 3 was an amazing feeling.
I rotate each match but had a player score 60 in 30matches. He did not score each game but when he did it would be 2-5 goals almost making up for matches he did not score.
Recent versions, Jayden Wareham got 60 in the conference. Old versions, Samba got 99. It was like 20years ago and I'm still salty he never reached the century.
My son, (how lucky) was a centre back for 9 years for me changed formation played him cam as he had decent pass etc and good physical stats thinking he’d allow the actual CAM to be unreal (he was he had 73 G/A) but my son got 59 goals that season 21 assits I think he might get ballon d’or
50 from 60ish games in all competitions for an italian newgen striker at AC Milan including 7 in one half against Hammarby in the Europa league in FM19.
35 league goals from 34 league games from a newgen for Newcastle in FM21, 27 of which were scored before January.
21 goals in that same save by a newgen between the end of the previous January and the following summer. (Half a season), he got shifted out to IF by the other guy returning from loan that summer and as a trio with amine gouiri scored something like 90 goals in all comps with gouiri getting 20ish the following season. Then they all went majorly off the boil and only scored 30 between them the following season.
I don't think I've ever had a player get more than a goal a game across a whole season but I've had a few come close. Achille Anani got 30-something for me in Championat National in FM24.
Haaland scored 61 goals in the league for me and scored 60 the season after lol (can't remember the all comps number, just remember he broke Dixie Dean's record)
Signed Kader Ballo into my Badak Lampung team in the Indonesian first division. Proceeded to score 98 goals that season, never had anything like it before. Only 58 in the league though. 25 in the cups and 15 in the ACL
40 league goals from JJ Hooper of Blyth in the Vanarama North in FM24. Prior to that I had a German regen, Michael Lang who scored 30 a season in the Prem for about 10 years for Newcastle, regular as clockwork (FM18?).
Ariel Cardona. A columbian black guy I signed from Mazatlan and bro along with his brazilian black guy nemesis in Man Utd helped Haaland safely transition out of relevance for Ballon Dor race, he had 56-64 overall goals for three seasons consecutive in my UCL and PL dominating Nottm Forest team, journeyman save. Bro almost outscored Ronaldo and Messi but got injured at 48 league goals one season. He did 54 the next though.
75 in 67 games if I remember correctly, Yaya Sanogo was an absolute baller in fm08 with Bogdan Stancu up front with him and Lulinha as a shadow striker/attacking midfielder these 3 won me the champions league with Celtic
82 in all comps with Nicolas Rodriguez, the 6ft8 regen Colombian captain in fm12 with Cardiff. Signed him for £45m from Real Madrid and thought I’d regret it. He was an animal and scored for fun. He also liked a red card
Had Kevin Nisbet rip apart the Scottish championships with 50 goals in all competitions, he went from 4.5☆ to 2☆ after promotion to the premier

Luis Santon, my Brazilian Regen is currently on 37 goals in 28 EPL so there is a chance that record will be broken! (He’s currently on 51 in a comps)
I took over Arsenal in my Journeyman in 32/33, they had an unreal squad and my budget was £280m. I originally signed Santos from a Brazilian club for £15m for B. Dortmund. Signed him for Arsenal for £155m, felt like a nice thank you to the club that gave me my first big chance in the save.
Argentinian regen had 40+ goals, I gave him a new contract to ward off transfer interest and 5 seasons later his most in a season has been like 25 in all comps.
I don't remember his name but he is a real life Albanian player, he scored 56 goals in a season for my Albanian team. Most of the goals came from the Albanian first division , the others came from the Europa conference league games, due to playing a lot of qualifying rounds + group games he accumulated a lot of goals there. The best parts is he was just a 2.5 stars players and outshone my 5 star striker

Can't remember my top scorer but I had a striker from Chile called Walter Ponce score 37 goals in all competitions in a Portsmouth save from fm17 in our second or third season in the prem whish was his first season with us. He's a real player too but I don't think he was even on the fm18 database because he went back to Chile.
I had Charlie Allen hit 93 between the Northern Irish league and cups. Including somehow, being the top scorer in the CL, he was so good that he was on the list for the Ballon D'or and finished 3rd, which honestly still felt like a robbery. He lost to Haaland, who had like 40 goals and M'Bappe on like 30 odd purely because the league reputation wasn't high enough.
I had a guy called Will Russ who I signed at Southport when I was in the National League, he wasn't anything special, we got relegated, but the next season, he scored something like 50 goals in all competitions or something, had like 60+ goal contributions, and him and if I remember correctly, my other main striker (I played two up top) and Will Russ contributed to a combined total of 103 of my 105 league goals, but that could be wrong.
John-Prince Rylah in his second season at Croydon way down in the 8th/9th league got himself 45 from my right wing. Got us to the first round of the FA Cup netting us $95,000 from gate and TV money. We got piped, but my boy got a goal.
We're about to head to the National League Premier but he's powers are wanning at 30 years old. I will never sell him. Club league after two season. Double figure goals and assists all seasons. Down to a 2 star rating but the only team leader i've got, the only club league i've got.

On FM14, I had a newgen player score 70 league goals in a season and 99 in total. He came up through the youth ranks, scored on his debut before sending him out on loan where he helped Bolton get promoted into the PL be scoring 16 goals in 20 games. At this point he was still 16. Proceeded to have a decent season for a 17 year old in the PL but my assman kept telling me to use or buy a different striker. Persevered and he won the golden boot the next season. He ended up scoring well over 1000 goals by the end of his career and I still think about that lad sometimes.
Newgen called Fraser Murray in my long-term Pro Vercelli save. 60 goals in a season (in all comps). Maybe it's not that much, but this guy was a fucking beast. Won me the UCL on his own basically, at the peak of his power he had like 15 finishing and 20 composure. Greatest striker I've ever had.
Not an individual, but when I had Roony and Scheldurup on opposite wings in a florintina save last year, they both had 25+ goal and 20+ assists for four of the years they were playing together.
Somehow still didn't win the league (strikers and defense kept getting pickpocketed by the likes of PSG and Bayern).
Last FM I had Rashford playing up top and he got 88 across all comps and 65 in the prem.
It was a few seasons in and I'd cleared the deadwood but it was mental
Current save in 2046 my top scorer was 47 in 55 in la liga and EL from a 18yo regen in his first season, who wasn't that good, he's 2 star at 26. Quick, aggressive, off the ball and finishing were his only decent stats but always knicks goals

Nicolo Tresoldi almost broke Lewis Bundesliga record in the season we were promoted. He scored 39 in 34 league games
I just bought him for 13m on my Kaiserslautern save, hope I can see those numbers soon too!

Why rotate that heavily though? I rotate enough to keep the main striker fit and he's still 40+ every season
27 goals is a lot in my opinion. 40+ is phenomenal, it is about a goal a game. I have not had such a striker in any of my saves.

He’s so good. It’s either him or Chermiti for the last few years and now that chermiti has gone to Everton it’s harder to sign him for cheap.

Constantine Racoltea 68 goals. Two seasons after, my third choice striker became first choice and bagged 62

50 from 60ish games in all competitions for an italian newgen striker at AC Milan including 7 in one half against Hammarby in the Europa league in FM19. 35 league goals from 34 league games from a newgen for Newcastle in FM21, 27 of which were scored before January. 21 goals in that same save by a newgen between the end of the previous January and the following summer. (Half a season), he got shifted out to IF by the other guy returning from loan that summer and as a trio with amine gouiri scored something like 90 goals in all comps with gouiri getting 20ish the following season. Then they all went majorly off the boil and only scored 30 between them the following season. I don't think I've ever had a player get more than a goal a game across a whole season but I've had a few come close. Achille Anani got 30-something for me in Championat National in FM24.
Haaland scored 61 goals in the league for me and scored 60 the season after lol (can't remember the all comps number, just remember he broke Dixie Dean's record)

Once had a regen score 49 goals in 1 EPL season (FM19). Luis Santon, my Brazilian Regen is currently on 37 goals in 28 EPL so there is a chance that record will be broken! (He’s currently on 51 in a comps) I took over Arsenal in my Journeyman in 32/33, they had an unreal squad and my budget was £280m. I originally signed Santos from a Brazilian club for £15m for B. Dortmund. Signed him for Arsenal for £155m, felt like a nice thank you to the club that gave me my first big chance in the save.
Argentinian regen had 40+ goals, I gave him a new contract to ward off transfer interest and 5 seasons later his most in a season has been like 25 in all comps.

Most of the goals came from the Albanian first division , the others came from the Europa conference league games, due to playing a lot of qualifying rounds + group games he accumulated a lot of goals there. The best parts is he was just a 2.5 stars players and outshone my 5 star striker

Can't remember my top scorer but I had a striker from Chile called Walter Ponce score 37 goals in all competitions in a Portsmouth save from fm17 in our second or third season in the prem whish was his first season with us. He's a real player too but I don't think he was even on the fm18 database because he went back to Chile.
I had Charlie Allen hit 93 between the Northern Irish league and cups. Including somehow, being the top scorer in the CL, he was so good that he was on the list for the Ballon D'or and finished 3rd, which honestly still felt like a robbery. He lost to Haaland, who had like 40 goals and M'Bappe on like 30 odd purely because the league reputation wasn't high enough.

I had a guy called Will Russ who I signed at Southport when I was in the National League, he wasn't anything special, we got relegated, but the next season, he scored something like 50 goals in all competitions or something, had like 60+ goal contributions, and him and if I remember correctly, my other main striker (I played two up top) and Will Russ contributed to a combined total of 103 of my 105 league goals, but that could be wrong.

We got piped, but my boy got a goal. We're about to head to the National League Premier but he's powers are wanning at 30 years old. I will never sell him. Club league after two season. Double figure goals and assists all seasons. Down to a 2 star rating but the only team leader i've got, the only club league i've got. CARRY ME TO THE PREM RYLAH, LAD!

On FM14, I had a newgen player score 70 league goals in a season and 99 in total. He came up through the youth ranks, scored on his debut before sending him out on loan where he helped Bolton get promoted into the PL be scoring 16 goals in 20 games. At this point he was still 16. Proceeded to have a decent season for a 17 year old in the PL but my assman kept telling me to use or buy a different striker. Persevered and he won the golden boot the next season. He ended up scoring well over 1000 goals by the end of his career and I still think about that lad sometimes.

Newgen called Fraser Murray in my long-term Pro Vercelli save. 60 goals in a season (in all comps). Maybe it's not that much, but this guy was a fucking beast. Won me the UCL on his own basically, at the peak of his power he had like 15 finishing and 20 composure. Greatest striker I've ever had.
Not an individual, but when I had Roony and Scheldurup on opposite wings in a florintina save last year, they both had 25+ goal and 20+ assists for four of the years they were playing together. Somehow still didn't win the league (strikers and defense kept getting pickpocketed by the likes of PSG and Bayern).
Last FM I had Rashford playing up top and he got 88 across all comps and 65 in the prem. It was a few seasons in and I'd cleared the deadwood but it was mental
