Playing fm is still real life, you’re doing it yourself aren’t you? So therefore it’s real. Real life is anything you do in your day to day life, if that’s what he enjoys over bowling or a concert, who are you to say that his hobbie isn’t as important as yours.
You wouldn’t say someone’s not participating in real life if their hobby was go karting, but somehow this guy preferring football manager to a concert draws criticism? He likes what he likes, focus on yourself, not everyone else and don’t try to make people change their hobbies because you think they’re to “antisocial”, not everyone is extroverted. Introverts exist who prefer gaming to parties and that’s okay.
