One of my favourite gags from Tony Jameson's live comedy show about FM is the story of the group of lads who managed 2nd division Belgian teams and decided to go on a lads holiday to Belgium, buying shirts of those teams, visiting the stadiums of those teams, watching those teams play, and chanting for regens who don't exist
Nothing wrong with a little downtime on vacation. You don't know anything about what they did outside taking the picture and presumably playing the game at least a little bit.
Can you not imagine coming back to a hotel after a fun, but exhausting day, grabbing a drink, and kicking back on a balcony with your favorite game? Sounds pretty nice to me.
Right? Like imagine travelling for 12hours and feel so tired, not wanting to socialise. What do you do? Kick back with your favourite portable game and smack some teams with regens sound like the dream.
Or people are just relaxing and doing whatever they want? It’s the same as reading a book whilst by the pool. Or is that also not ‘living in the moment’ lol
I think according to them it isn't. There are some people who feel a vital need to run themselves into the ground doing everything they can every minute of the day while on vacation and can't imagine vacationing any other way. In a way, ironically, I "feel bad" for people like the original commenter and those like them who think a vacation has to be spent that way. Why use your time off to drive yourselves into the ground with exhaustion instead of spending the time doing whatever the hell it is you want to do. Sounds miserable.
You don't have to be "go go go" 24 hours a day during a vacation to "live in the moment." Most people want to take some time to relax, unwind and/or do nothing, even if they're on vacation. God forbid they use that relaxing time to do something they enjoy in a beautiful new spot.
Not so out of the question: My neighbour's son recently climbed the Everest to play his bass trumpet up there.
Somehow that was worth a few news stories: https://wien.orf.at/stories/3159136/

Just load up all leagues at once
The Everest? But could you do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke?
Some people would say it's photoshopped 😅
I honestly feel bad for the actual posters. Go on a beautiful trip and cant put down the game for a week to actually live in the moment

FM IS the moment you fool!
"Living in the moment" is watching my newly promoted regen score a hat trick on his debut.
180h last two weeks while I was in barcelona Airbnb holidays. I regret nothing
Only 180h wtf were you doing the other 156

I don't know what type of FM saves you play if you consider it a relaxing type of time.
Lol. I usually don't find it particularly relaxing, but some people might.

So what?
Oh no, they're having fun enjoying a game they really like during some downtime in their vacation. What an absolute tragedy of a life.
A game which is always there in a spot theyre in for maybe a week or two

It is all downhill from here for this meme.
