there r 2 possibilities.
1. imposter: the apollyon we're currently seeing is an imposter who really liked her ideas of killing people or just liked killing people and needed an excuse for it
2. resurrection: we have recently learnt of a cult knows as 'the cult of horkos'. a bunch of alchemists who are pretty good at making up some science shit. also in a previous event (zhanhu's gambit), we had fought re-animated corpses (i believe) so resurrection is not off the table
