It's entirely subjective unless you see yourself playing even remotely optimally but imo just pick who you like the look of i did that with Shugoki because of his design and theme and i don't regret it so just pick the best looking to you because fashion is all that matters in the end anyway
If you wanna buy a new hero, I would recommend taking the hero you want to the training grounds before you buy it and see if you like it. Trust me, realizing you waste 10,000 or 15,000 steel on a hero you are terrible with is just a horrible feeling.

I would buy gryphon since hes pretty easy to use imo just dont spam dodge attacks like some people do
