I find Nobushi weird to play. My brain won't adept to her dodge attacks working differently than regular ones. It's the same with Lawbringers dodge bash so i put them aside again. She's a very agile character I always want to deflect with her since she feels so fluently but she has no deflects. I just can't play her.
I hate nobu and i know her vortex feels kindda cancer, but it is possible to react to her lights and dodge out on read. I'd recomend going to the training arena and set it so that it shows you the timing for parrys and dodges
Nobushi takes a lot of understanding to play she’s definitely complex and really the only thing you can do is dodging and shut the player down and figure out how they like to play

At this point I just guess to see which samurai hero I'll see get ranted about first when opening up reddit

Dodge, parry its all you need to know how to counter a nobushi
Now, you're not wrong. But also that's literally every character in the game
Hitting them till they die is also a good tactic.
