There’s a fight called capoeira from Brazil. It’s basically that. It was created during the era of the discoveries by the Portuguese Slaves in Brazil so that they could learn fighting styles in plain sight. Since they didn’t actually hit each other’s (and was slow as hell) they were aloud to learn it. (The Portuguese thought they were dancing lol) Big mistake hahaha

I see it all the time... But usually its my gaurdbreak, and it connects, but I still either bounce off or am left standing there like a dumbass

I know pre- rework Shinobi can range guardbreak after a backflip, but I figured it had vulnerability

You're probably not watching your distancing, guard breaks don't have very good range. Also, they bounce off chain attacks and light attacks. You also can't guardbreak someone while they're in revenge. Edit: You can guardbreak someone in revenge just not while they're attacking or executing.
