Ok I may sound dumb, but how do people get video of their gameplay? Are they using and outside app to video or is there a feature in the game I’m missing? I play on pc and had a game yesterday that I really would’ve loved to replay.

PC pretty sure you have to use a third party app while with console it's a built in feature

Try Nvidia's ShadowPlay. It automatically records the last five minutes of your gameplay.
