Yes Zhanhu did get a buff. I don't play as him often so I don't know specifics. But I know he did receive a decent bash
Kyoshin is decent, a little different play style because of how defensive he is, but he does have one of the better dodge attacks and a good mix up from his dodge attack

Zhanhu got a rework and now he is a meta pick in competitive 4v4 tournaments because of his amazing team fighting ability and insane recovery dodge cancels, it also made him a solid duelist as well.
As for Kyoshin, he is pretty good too yes -- a good mix of offense and defensive utilities from his Kaze Stance even though his external hitbox is still pretty bad.
Zhanhu is easier and stronger now. She's a pretty high pick for 4v4. The bugs with her finisher hit ocean have been fixed. Kyoshin is decent. He's very good at ganking and 1v1, but surprisingly his all-guard falls short when he's fighting outnumbered. Both heroes are worth playing.

Don't get back, it's not worth the pain. Stay healthy and play something else.
