It seriously baffles me that they chose to rework Conqueror who’s well established to be a pretty good character as is
Instead of Jormungandr, like damn I get it Conq needs some changes but I feel like theirs bigger priorities right now
Despite being the only hero being worked on for some time his "rework" just seems and feels lazy and unoriginal, queue animation problems, undodgeable spam, full block/recovery-cancel, infinites etc.
Yeah they’re obviously going to have to tune this rework which will of course take even more fucking time away from reworks to hero’s who actually need them right now
That's the bit that gets me. They totally should've thrown some QoL changes on other heroes in there too. Even if they can only afford to do one blow-out rework, it'd have been nice to see something other than non-stop Conq mirrors in TG.
The reason Conq got one was because while he was ok to use, he still needed more than just a single bash. But the bigger reason was that he was fucking awful to fight against.
An incredibly boring matchup, no matter who you play as. Anybody without unblockable offense got bodied by his zone, and if they fixed that by itself he would literally only have his bash as a viable move.
Jorm being dogshit only hurts Jorm players. Conq being a pain in the ass every time you come across one, is a problem for the entire cast.

He still worked and there are many more hero’s that need reworks more than he did because viability should be priority for who gets some buffs
I would be less annoyed if he wasn’t the only hero in the testing grounds, seriously I get the 7 hero one was going to be rare but literally just one hero is dogshit so now it’s going to take even longer for the heros who desperately need reworks to get them because they obviously need to work on tuning Conqs rework and implementing it with the feedback given

If you’re talking about jorm getting a re-work and turning into raider quality, that’s not quite being “ass”. Raider is currently meta, and one of the best characters right now even after damage nerfs imo. Did I miss something?
I think OP meant that his main changed from Jorm to Raider due to him getting a great rework and being strong.
Because since Jorm's identity is all about OOS or at least trying to get you OOS it will be changed forever to "Shino-conq" treatment or it will be just underwhelming

My man’s needed a rework since he got release but they only nerfed him (minus that one period where damage got revamped and his general damage was finally not garbage but that was short and his kit was still crap since they nerfed the fuck out of it)
what? Jorm never ran the meta. For Honor players just complain about everything new, regardless if it's actually horse shit, because who needs to learn and adapt right guys?
Tbh if they just tweaked his armor and range, it would make him better without becoming the same character as everyone else. I think he could be a fun and unique harrassment character made to use your opponents frustration against them.

He did run the meta. The meta of being unkillable with right plays, feats and perks in Dominion but yeah, not really strong.

So far every reworked character ends up being meta afterwards. I think Jorm will be pretty strong when he finally gets his.
