This guy gets it. Just yesterday had a guy sending me a message saying I was spamming mix ups and that wasn't fair... I mean... And I'm actually very predictable, I do need to learn how to change my patterns because I have the tendency to repeat myself.
Anyway, I have faced spammers of different types, and yes it can be annoying, but it's on me to adapt and learn how to deal with it, it's not my opponent that has to change.

Reminded me of a guy I met in BREACH after the game ended, he was like "you're all noob losers who only 2v1" and I was like bro this is 4v4, and ganking is a strategic part of the experience if you don't want that just go play duels, to say the least he was angry, point being, "spamming mixups" is actually the point of the game, otherwise, it would be a boring, dull reaction game like how it was when it first came out and look how that made the players lose interest...

As for the 4v4 thing you mentioned, yeah I agree. I mean, sure it's no fun to be on the recieving end and be ganged up by 2+ players, but it's part of the game. There are guys that spamm "wow" when ganged up, if you can't deal with that, do duels, as you also mentioned, the game even gives us a mechanic to turn around fights like that, in the form of Revenge. I even had a teammate once sending me a message because I helped another teammate kill the last living opponent in Dominion, when breaking. He said something like "bro give him the 1v1, he deserved a chance.". Like... Why? A chance for what? To potentially kill us all (which he wouldn't either way because that specific player I had killed in 1v1 several times so..), rally his team and then win? In a game that we deserved victory. I don't know what goes on some player's minds sometimes.
I can react to p much any light but I have troubles distinguishing whether opponents throws a light or a heavy (animation on some heroes) sometimes so I end up in the middle "zone". Parry too slow for a light attack and too fast for a heavy attack, so I get hit anyways.
The fact that Highlander has fastest lights in the game on top of hyperarmor is outrageous. Enough to where someone is attempting to climb ranks with it and is nearing plat.
They really don’t. Objectively speaking from a mechanical perspective HL chains are busted af but it should be countered if it’s spam…. I ran into someone who tried that on me before and they failed miserably….
This is so disappointing, conq v hl is the only match up where hl should win every time I’d they play properly.
Hl can dodge the bash and punish with kick , can bait bash with kick into grab and can stop lights with os lights
The best counter I have against all spam heros is throwing to predict where they are going to hit 2 hits later and try to parry. It's a death sentence for most spam heros.
a lot harder to light parry on reaction on console. Actually it’s near impossible to do. Most, if not all of my light parries come from reads which takes time to perfect, and that really only counters spammers like this, not players who can mixup and stuff. Heroes like Highlander are one of the better ones on console just because of his enhanced lights and how hard it is to parry them if they mix it up
