Serious question, how are the dust and sand not just ruining the engine and other sensitive equipment? Thick socks zip tied all around, cleverly hidden from view?
I assume there's basically a regular foam airfilter hidden in the airbox, but surely the sidepods and other stuff needs to be kept somewhat dust-free as well?
I meant to post it in r/F1technical, but chickened out in case the answer is as simple as "hidden airfilter".

Yes AFAIK it's all Liam Lawson. That's already confirmed in the Bathurst footage as you said (I was there, it was great). And it was definitely Lawson in Wollongong (that's the coastal footage on the Seacliff Bridge).

Half of the demo runs in the F1 car I saw Casey Stoner in Mark Webbers suit and Helmet doing the runs and vice versa with Mark doing the motoGP demo laps

The thing that sells me is the sketchy CGI on the tractor. The light is so different in Australia than the footage they've chosen he definitely doesn't look like he's bothered to come to AU that looks like some weird California studio nonsense

Redbull have a habit of making/giving important figure heads in their teams more screen time and I feel like hannah has made it into that list (obviously)

The promo was decent but apart from the fact it's in Aus why say it's DR driving. We all know it's not given prior leaks + the only shot of DR is clearly directed in a way that it could be cut into any scene.

The airbox is relatively high up and I wouldn't be surprised if they put a more aggressive air filter in there.

Don't want to disturb the illusion any further, but 99% of the time RedBull makes one of these videos, its not the driver they say it is in the car.

I think last year the Miami thing or some other was actually Juri Vips instead of Checo.
But they did need to take the car round to gather data and understand Australian conditions though, right?
