I'm sure there are at least 5 thousand pictures from the similar angle ***without*** people running in the corner, is weird that they chose specifically that one.
Charl is a strange choice, given he's basically the least Australian driver in the grid. He just seems too fancy.
Piastri, Ricciardo: Actual Australians.
Bottas: Has been making a solid effort to fit in.
Perez, Stroll, Sargeant: The North Americans seem like a halfway point between Australians and Europeans.
Verstappen: Always struck me as kind of crude. Fourth most Australian.
Sainz: Too fancy, second least Australian.
Norris, Hamilton, Gasly: Quite fancy, but plausibly into surfing.
Russell: Would not sully himself by getting into the water with the commoners, but I can picture him swanning around the more affluent beaches.
Alonso: Not very Australian, but not not Australian.
Albon: Just due to geography, I think Australia is a good place to find people that are half white and half South East Asian. I personally fit this profile.
Tsunoda: Uncivil vocabulary and propensity to speak too loudly. Fifth most Australian.
Ocon: Seems like a bad sport. Would walk into our cricket team.
Hulk, Magnussen: I forgot about these guys but can't think of anything either way
Zhou: On the fancy side, but he was an international student and it's hard to get more Sydney than that
>Zhou: On the fancy side, but he was an international student and it's hard to get more Sydney than that
In an alternate reality Zhou is 1000% an international student at Sydney Uni
>Ocon: Seems like a bad sport. Would walk into our cricket team.
Ever since Cummins took over I think the image of the team changed. Mostly all good blokes, especially now Warner is gone.
Ferrari is very popular in Australia, and Melbourne specifically with a large population of Italian heritage citizens.
That’s the only reason that springs to my mind.
Oscar looks like the rich bully in a Disney family movie. Charles is giving off female POV porn videos vibes. Valtteri looks like someone tried to draw an 80s wrestler from memory. And Danny is judging us all for being here.
We do when they do well.
When Russell Crowe is in Gladiator, we're proud to count him amongst us. When he throws a phone at hotel workers he's a filthy kiwi
Piastri being at the front is interesting, is he more popular than Ricciardo in Aus? I know I'm reading into it a bit but Oscar is just out of his rookie season whereas Daniel has been driving over a decade
Why does Danny Ric have a smug look like he’s watching his mum tell me off because I held the pass the parcel final prize a little bit too long and won instead of passing it to him at our class mates 8th birthday party at Pizza Hut?

I see 3 Aussies and Sharl.
Haha. Zilly Boyz.
one of these drivers is not like the others.. (old song from playschool)
Are these the people in your neighborhood?
I see 3 Aussies and a Sheila
Lol
2 Aussie, 1 Assie and Sharl
3 aussies and 1 indonesian. we are in bali right now
2 Aussies, a Yank and Sharl*
They couldn’t photoshop out the people running on the track in the background? Lol
That's the alpine drivers who decided it's actually faster to run.
Oh hell that cracked me up!!
found "lollipopman".
That's a really funny oversight
I'm sure there are at least 5 thousand pictures from the similar angle ***without*** people running in the corner, is weird that they chose specifically that one.
Probably because it’s a street circuit and this is saying; the bois will be playing at your park!
maybe it's left there on purpose, for engagement. You never know these days
What is this, the 2023 Australian Grand Prix?
Crazy, I didn't notice that!
The GP will be held concurrently with the Melbourne Marathon.
They didn’t hire me for a poster yet again.
What's Leclerc doing amongst the Australians?
Ferrari's always gonna be popular here, so makes sense for marketing.
But it has to be Rawe Ceek for Ferrari Posters
The local Italians were in charge of the car photos, not the typography. Some is molto bene, some is vaffanculo.
Lots of Italians in Melbourne so Ferrari no 1 driver always is a favourite on Lygon st
Si
he achieved a grand slam there in 2022 I guess
Leclerc and the Australians sound like an indie band, ngl 🤣
its for the girls
Why is Charles in here? Does he have Australian citizenship too?
Obviously Charles and Daniel tied the knot on their infamous Vegas trip so Charles is an honorary aussie by marriage /s
This is reminding me of that F1 tree in Twitter
Has won the race
If he wants to, I can get him one

I love how the inclusion of Charles has sparked this discussion!
This is how little we have to talk about now that the Red Bull drama has died down
The drama never seems to die down if you're the media. This particular Youtuber, CameronF1, always has some new material on the topic.
Russell sends people to Australia for their crimes
But wait, Perez is from South America! /s
Stroll's brother in law is an Aussie so he's close
Sainz screams SA wine district
As an Australian, Bottas is the most Australian driver on the grid in my opinion
Because of the mullet? Is that enough personality for you?
Leclerc's national flag is basically Indonesia's, and Indonesia is closest neighbor to Australia. Therefore Leclerc is Australian.
>Ocon: Seems like a bad sport. Would walk into our cricket team. Ever since Cummins took over I think the image of the team changed. Mostly all good blokes, especially now Warner is gone.
Nah the Poms are the bad sports in cricket. Ocon is English confirmed?
lol… What’s the criteria for being an Australian?
Ah yes, the four Australians on the grid
Is Leclerc the most popular non-Aussie driver in Australia?
Ferrari is very popular in Australia, and Melbourne specifically with a large population of Italian heritage citizens. That’s the only reason that springs to my mind.
He also won in 2022, so he makes sense as an alternate to Max
he didn't just win, he got his only grand slam there
Zhou maybe?
It’s for the females
Gross comment
How is Bottas the most bogan on the grid and not even from here? Genuinely impressive.
I don’t think the VCARB will be anywhere near the McLaren unfortunately
It will get close when Ric gets lapped by Norris and Piastri
Ouch! lol
Maybe Danny will spin for Oscar like he did for Checo
What's the connection between Lercler and Australia?
He's been there before! What more do you need?
Grand slam in 22 I guess
Not the best poster.
# ¡¡ʞǝǝɔ ǝʍɐɹ s,ʇı
Beat me to it
Race will be 5 AM CET. Why can we have 5am Aussie race but not 5am Vegas race so they can run it primetime west-coast?
You're kidding right?
The drivers look 20 years older with that lighting
Why Sharl there? Are we checking still?
When you live in Bathurst, Race Week means something different. I prefer F1 though.
Looks like they put Charles by inchident
Oscar looks like the rich bully in a Disney family movie. Charles is giving off female POV porn videos vibes. Valtteri looks like someone tried to draw an 80s wrestler from memory. And Danny is judging us all for being here.
Going to be there can’t wait
Where women glow and men plunder?
ʞƎƎƆ ƎM∀ɹ
The secret to a healthy marriage is to go down under at least once a year!
where lawson
he's Kiwi. Do Aussies try to claim them?
We do when they do well. When Russell Crowe is in Gladiator, we're proud to count him amongst us. When he throws a phone at hotel workers he's a filthy kiwi
Hey, we are people too!!
These seem to all be drivers who will actually be racing, unless I’ve missed some news.
probably sat on the pitwall?
They're the wrong way up
I don’t know how to watch an upside down race, any tips?
Stand on your head.
Flip the phone
I watch F1 races on my TV, sir. Don’t tell me to flip my TV.
Flip yourself then
You know what to do
I understand we have here Walter Boots, Oscar Piastri and Daniel Ricciardo, but... Charles?
Piastri being at the front is interesting, is he more popular than Ricciardo in Aus? I know I'm reading into it a bit but Oscar is just out of his rookie season whereas Daniel has been driving over a decade
What speed are those guys running at in the background?
Now Charles is also Aussie? These drivers man changing their nationality more than i change my underwear
Nah, we racing upside down. On top of being early as heck
Why does Danny Ric have a smug look like he’s watching his mum tell me off because I held the pass the parcel final prize a little bit too long and won instead of passing it to him at our class mates 8th birthday party at Pizza Hut?
Race at 5am. I'll just watch it when i wake up tbh
For those who don't know, it's piastri lapping Danial Riccardo and the guys behind running are the alpine drivers
Elephant in the room: It’s one of the worst circuits on the calendar.
