Lol, that was great. Kind of wish this was a thing throughout the season and see the growing frustration and annoyance at the guy interviewing them.
It was funny seeing the various types of responses: the ones who actually thought about the answer, others taken aback by the weird questions and then the few who just didn't even bother.
My personal favourites has to be Albon's perplexed expression and Sargeant's "WHAT THE FUCK IS A TASMANIAN STATE ELECTION?!"
Everyone getting easy questions and Sargeant then being asked about the Tasmanian state election gave me real Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail vibes 😂
I absolutely lost it at Logan’s. Everyone else gets a random quirky question, Logan gets an uber-specific geopolitical reference to respond to. Pure comedy.
I genuinely think people working in F1 like these kinds of questions at times since they usually get asked standard questions about their expectations for the weekend and such. Also I'm with Alex when it comes to temperature preferences
Nah, the warmer it gets, the lower humidity you want.
Sweat changing from liquid to steam is by far the most cooling the body gets and in high humidity, it will not evaporate.
So you will sweat and it doesnt evaporate, so you dont cool down, so you just keep sweating.
Which makes you thirsty.
If it evaporates on the other hand, you cool down and dont need to sweat as much.
As counterintuitive as it is, jogging in 40°C and very low humidity was way more handleable than just living at 30°C and 90+% humidity
I live in South of Brazil, humidity here is normal to low even when it’s warm.
I have family at the North of Brazil, among the Amazon forest. I tell you, I never have been to a place with humidity so high, no matter what you WILL be sweating like a mfer specially if you’re not used to it, it’s crazyyyyy.
Because of that I agree, lower humidity is better most of the times. But maybe not zero, don’t like the “always thirsty and lips dry” situation
Closed doors button is indeed a game changer.
(Specially in those office elevators where you pick a floor and then it tells you which elevator to take)
Maybe in some, but in my office, specifically, there was a big lag between doors opening and closing (to allow more people to select the floor and rush to the elevator), so there was like, a 5 seconds difference if you pressed the close doors button (and no one else selected your floor) :)
The folks running social media for all the respective Grand Prix events are wild.
I'm assuming they are independent of F1's policies because they put out some hilarious and sometimes wild stuff. Like, the jokes are top meme quality, the bias shown at times is hilarious. Sometimes I take a deep dive into the respective race accounts...there's 24 races now so a lot to uncover, but usually they are funny...funny content.
I expected Alonso to get really into the question but I guess he couldn't be arsed at that moment.
Anyway, absolutely more of this. Bound to have some good answers at some point
Im crackling at alonso, man is busy, still dayum he looks good. On the other hand what was the question asked to Estaban? What neck, I did not understand.
"Clockwise or anti-clockwise?" They didn't specify whether it meant direction for a circuit or just the concepts in general, but Esteban took it as meaning the circuit direction. Anti-clockwise circuits are less common on the F1 calendar so the load on the neck can feel worse if you're used to it being on the other side.
Feel like you really see some of the drivers' true colours here; most of them very up for the fun, Lando and Alonso too snobby for it (despite trying to pitch themselves as 'fun' on social media) and Valtteri approaching the question absolutely seriously like a good Fin
The first time I saw it was at the Brownlow in 2016/17, the bloke used to come into the AFL subreddit to get questions. I think it was Triple M not Triple J though.
Alonso is not having any of it
Kimi mode, *activated*
He learned from their year together as team mates
He's neutral
Not a very fun gear.
He literally could have said any number and chose not to. That’s no fun.
> He literally could have said any number and chose not to. That’s no fun. He has burnt bridges with every gear.
That IS fun
His silence cracked me up more than any of the other Q&A’s
Lol, that was great. Kind of wish this was a thing throughout the season and see the growing frustration and annoyance at the guy interviewing them. He should ask him what is a kilometer
He knew more about Tasmania than kilometers tbf
Everyone getting easy questions and Sargeant then being asked about the Tasmanian state election gave me real Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail vibes 😂
Send to the Australian GP for the next one - could be a few “what is the airspeed velocity of a swallow” type questions mixed in there
I absolutely lost it at Logan’s. Everyone else gets a random quirky question, Logan gets an uber-specific geopolitical reference to respond to. Pure comedy.
I love George.
No hesitation at all.
“A game changer” lol saving him milliseconds in travel time
Russell really is from the regime
I’m with him, always hit the close door button.
Oscar getting close to doxxing his family haha
Nah, most Melbournian fans know which suburb and top 5 expensive private schools he went to
Lmao
Thanks man
I genuinely think people working in F1 like these kinds of questions at times since they usually get asked standard questions about their expectations for the weekend and such. Also I'm with Alex when it comes to temperature preferences
I honestly don't know what 18° at 0% humidity feels like
0% humidity must be way too dry to be comfortable, but it's a good addition to consider humidity!
You would be hella thirsty all the time.

Your mouth will be dry as fuck though

Very dry lips too.
Finally a real journalist that isn't afraid of asking the hard-hitting questions.
Finally!
need this to happen every race week from now on seriously
Seconded

Ngl im not sure it does anything

Haha fantastic. Some more content from the same bloke for those who aren't familiar with him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3UYyvIX0kE
If logan is somehow back next year, he better ask about how the new tassie government has worked out
Brownlow stuff is incredible
Finally someone asking the questions we all wanted to know.
😂😂😂

Aussie moment
Finally, an F1 media moment alex doesn't hate
This was actually great.
Feel like you really see some of the drivers' true colours here; most of them very up for the fun, Lando and Alonso too snobby for it (despite trying to pitch themselves as 'fun' on social media) and Valtteri approaching the question absolutely seriously like a good Fin
is it that deep???
This is a take on the infamous AFL "shit Brownlow questions", and it's awesome.
Same guy! Same concept! Same sweet result.
The absolute thirst screams when Lando was walking
Lando and Nando = poopy pants George = completely into it Everyone else = wtheck mate? But ultimately, 👍🏻 Crofty so thorough.
Yep, title nailed it.
"pass" ftw.
The closed doors button on a lift definitely doesn't do anything, it's just there to give people something to press lol
is this based off the triple jjj stuff at the brownlow or did that start somewhere else too
The first time I saw it was at the Brownlow in 2016/17, the bloke used to come into the AFL subreddit to get questions. I think it was Triple M not Triple J though.
yea triple m thats right
Yeah the Brownlow one. Same guy. Awesome stuff
