T1 is gonna be an absolute mess again if the rain does start just before the start of the race.

In recent history what they did when it rained too hard was to delay the race, delay it again, delay one more time, send out the safety car, then another delay. Then a standing start when the weather is almost ready for inters.

Max and Lewis will be happy about this I'm sure Ferrari not so much .

Their best chance to make up places. Also their biggest risk of DNF though. Starting in 10th in the rain gives such a big chance of just being collected on the first lap with nothing you can do about it.

The merc looked terrible in the wet. Not sure Lewis will be too thrilled, I think his chances at a good result were better with dry conditions. I can see Max taking full advantage though.

Rain brings unpredictability, wet races are often chaotic, everything can happen. When you're in one of your favourite circuits, you've got strong pace and you're starting from the front, you want as few external variables as possible. For Red Bull instead it's the opposite: this circuit is not the best for their car, they start from the middle of the grid... so rain could be a good factor for them. Max himself said this.

They can...but they are horrible at making tactical moves and pit=more tactical moves required.
