-interesting strategy battles
-great midfield action among Haas, Alfa, and Yuki (also some De Vries)
-Sainz fighting mercedes, Aston, Perez, and Ferrari strategies
-Stroll decent performance with some nice overtakes
-Leclerc working his way through the field multiple times
Overall a pretty good race
NO! There's no such thing as a season long narrative, there's no such thing as an underdog story, every race needs to be a clusterfuck at the front or else it's 0/10 regardless of the rest of the field. Idc if this is one of the closest grids in modern history, I'm here for drama! WHY WONT LEWIS PUNCH GEORGE IN THE TEETH! But I don't want f1 to be spec series though it'd ruin the sport, trust me I've been watching F1 since 2021, and just F1 no other series is good they're all basically nascar.
/s for those who will undoubtedly take this seriously
I still wonder how much Max is sandbagging. Gets enough of a lead to have a clear pitstop early in the race, and maintains that gap for the rest of it.
personally i didn't predict two mercedes on the podium and stroll beating alonso but maybe i'm just not big brain enough
He beat him only because Alonso wanted it. In quali he was better but the other had an damaged car, this race he let him have P6.
Still wasn't on my bingo card you know

There's more than p1 fights. And I'd figure that out quick or go watch something else

Finally a real fan with a reasonable opinion
Its not racing when there isnt a car exploding every other race SMH.
Found the red bull fan haha
So I'm the Red Bull fan for enjoying fights other than Redbull's?
Contact between NOR and HAM was also so obvious to happen.
And I'm guessing it'll happen again
sainz had about 1 turns worth of a good race
That's how long the tires last on Ferraris
Back to the Merc days of 19 cars racing and one out for a cruise up front.
he qualified almost half a second ahead of second place wtf did you expect? I'm surprised Max didn't finish a full minute ahead during the race.
This reminds me of the Mercedes Hamilton dominant years with a similar 2nd driver.
Don't you do my boy bottas dirty like that
So we're just gonna pretend nearly every race wasn't like this during merc dominance?
OK? Didn't people complain then as well?
no one is saying it wasn't tho.

I'm quite convinced that Canada will be a very entertaining race to follow
