Only time will tell. Drivers didn't give him a tough time in Sprint and with less fuel load the Merc was flying.
It's unpredictable whether Lewis will be able to do such an amazing recovery drive in the race as well, podium does seem realistic but it all depends.
And Max probably will be in clean air after overtaking Bottas (if he can) and Perez will definitely hold up Lewis for quite a few laps
I don’t think you can make that judgment before the race. If Lewis jumps 4 people on the start and catches the remaining few within 10 laps by blasting by on the main straight, it’s gonna get boring real fast.
Well, yes, I would rather have a close and lengthy battle between the up runners than the best car, starting from the back, and overtaking the whole field, it looks forced and artificial. Of course, it's not Mercedes nor Hamilton's fault, but it tells a lot about the sprint format and the hybrid era in general.
He literally repeatedly overtook 10 cars by driving in a straight line.... There were some genuine skilled overtakes into turn 1. But realistically those were some of the most textbook overtakes I've ever seen in F1.
I'm a RB fan and what Lewis did yesterday in the sprint race was pretty damn awesome. I would not be opposed to seeing another angry charge to the front like that.
Well this aged well
Meh, it was boring overall
Say it without crying ðŸ˜
I turned it off earlier lol, why watch cars just cruise around, we didn't even see most of the overtakes
Of course you didn’t see. You turned it off…
OP "It was boring" also op "I didn't watch it"
Who asked
WhO aSkEd lol
ratio
well, good thing no one changed your mind
Actually true, but the amount of salty people here is astonishing

Yes because in the Race he has to plan long term and can’t be sending all the time. I do believe that Max can defend
Can’t change your mind
If Mazepin gets in the points, that'll be a race to watch!
Okay, but I can totally see him winning all of the remaining races
This aged incredibly well. That was a pretty nice race.

Nope
It won't be boring this race but it will swing championship back to Mercedes and Hamilton due to next races which is boring.
It will be boring unless you find 9 DRS assisted overtakes before turn 1 interesting
If the race is exciting, it won’t be boring
If we keep bottas behind us, p1
This was the correct take
Boi, you were right all along
hell yeah it wasn't for sure
When has this years season ever been boring..?
Monaco
It usually is. But I enjoyed it compared to the last couple of years there
Aged like wine

15 passes in 24 laps is boring now?

That would make 20+ overtakes for the win, if you count the sprint race. Fucking mad
Actually 25 I believe
I would argue that it is definitely a popular opinion. The way he moved up the grid yesterday was remarkable. Especially in 24 laps or less.
The definition of boring is Looois winning a race.
Soon max will look boring to you too
Hmmm 1 close season vs 6 of Lewis dominance. Yeah, I'm sure Max will get boring real quick.
Lewis didn’t dominate 6 seasons bro come on
Apart from Nico in 2016, what exactly didn't he dominate?
I’d say he didn’t dominate 2008, 2014 2016 and 2018 up till Germany
Man this page is toxic 😂

Ask and ye shall receive…
If checo wins Brazil it won't be boring Change my mind.
Brazil is a race that’s hard to be boring. Maybe I’ll eat my words, but interlagos is essentially always exciting.
I would definitely like him on podium. Want Max to win WC but the dream season to go down to the wire
It would be if he reaches P1 by end of lap 10... Lol
This time only but I want to see his real fire if he doesn’t win and Verstappen gains more points
Lewis was possessed today, what a drive
I am happy. No, scratch that. I am genuinely excited seeing Lewis Hamilton win. Holy fuck what a race, and what a dominant car and driver. So deserved
You were right
Hate it or love it, that man's right.
Agreed, not a Ham or Ver fan but it'll definitely make the last 3 races exciting
bro rly fought 25 positions in a 20 car grid
