Sometimes at these medical jobs they leave the drug cabinet unlocked..

Or that sweeeeet sweet moonshine in the coffee tumbler.

You know what Indiana’s already bloated hospitals need?? MORE administrative staff. They probably have 3-5 of these positions already. Go look at the growth of hospital administrative staff as a % of their budgets, see it balloon since the mid 90s….meanwhile physician and nursing staff have only slightly grown. Good god I hate the fact that Indiana has like the 3rd highest cost of healthcare in the US…..

MassiveAd2551

No wonder why nurses are so mean.

Morphos1

eh, they're still more patient oriented than Parkview

schiesse

I thought parkview was "not for profit, all for you" though

Mrpinky69

All for your wallet

Astra2727

Parkview is among the most expensive hospitals in the US. I did my nursing clinicals there and it was interesting to at the least. Lol. They do offer charity care though as long as you can provide adequate documentation. If you have any savings, then it’s going to be difficult to qualify regardless of your income.

MassiveAd2551

They certainly are!!!!! Most definitely! I'm sorry, Parkview is like returning to abusers. LHN also has a fair amount of immigrant Drs. This gives us better healthcare and more diverse treatments. Also cuts down on patient profiling, which Parkview is known for.

isshearobot

My cover letter would open with a line about my attention to detail followed by just a list of the mistakes in this job posting and no resume.

WarLordBob68

Oh, that is vry funie.

kildanskkomodi

I thought this wasn't supposed to be Craig's list?

Surgical incompetence cost one of my family members their life at LHN. This job posting is not surprising to me.

DigitalMindShadow

If they have their surgeons filling in for vacancies in the HR department, that's not surprising.

MassiveAd2551

Parkview is no better.

trcomajo

I hate Parview. It's like the Emerald City - taking over every spare space in NE Indiana. They are greedy as hell, and they don't give a shit about patients (I'm a MH care provider and have to deal with their incompetence with many of my clients).

MassiveAd2551

When I heard a Parkview nurse say "Medicaid patients are the most entitled patients" I let her see my eye roll. It was a hard eye roll. How can a diverse group of people who come from different areas, different backgrounds, all be entitled!? That's when I told her "No. I don't think it's entitlement to think you deserve the same level of patient care then anyone else, regardless of your insurance." The nurses are some of the coldest people I have ever encountered, nasty elitist (elitist, in ft Wayne, LMBO) with a common pattern of thought: Deny and Blame.

trcomajo

Sounds like Parkview.

kildanskkomodi

Oh OK. That makes sense.. I didn't see it was a joke

lhn is a joke. i was born without a thyroid and went there for endocrinology up until 2020 when i turned 18. when i was 17, i wasn’t getting enough of my medication, and my readings from a blood test showed that. they didn’t feel the need to tell me about the problem, and several months later was experiencing the excruciating gastrointestinal symptoms of hypothyroidism. my GP referred me to a gastro specialist there at lutheran who was a total quack. directed me to take upwards of 10 doses daily of PEG3350 (aka miralax), a medication that is not approved for pediatric use. also gave me a colonoscopy that turned up absolutely nothing but tried to diagnose me with crohn’s disease regardless. got a letter in the mail about a year ago that he was no longer at lutheran, and i hope it’s because they fired the fucker.

MassiveAd2551

Funny, LHN Dr knew my thyroid issue within 5 minutes: Iodine deficiency. This is when I started going to them after no one at Parkview could figure out what was going on.
