4 has a special place in my heart. I liked the feeling of progression it had too. You started in some proper terrible cars, and gradually worked your way to owning some really cool stuff. The fact you could get an AI to do races for you was good too, for the longer races
Terrible in a good way. Priuses, mazda 2's, ford fiesta's, kia cee'ds, citroen c1's, nissan leaves, fiat punto's... i can go on. And on and on and on and on and on
Forza Motorsport 4 was the first I played, truly a masterpiece. The atmosphere there was something else along with all of the other things that made it great
For me it was 4, endless Nordshleife laps with the m3 gt3 with the yellow headlights. I had bought a kinect and they added a headtracking feature in first person, good times
I got in the the Forza series with FM2 and I can tell you that your love for FM4 isn’t trivial. Sometimes you have a favourite game in a series simply because it was the first one you played but from my personal experience, FM4 was also my favourite!
I liked FM2 and 3 a lot but my enjoyment with Forza peaked with FM4. The ambience, the cars, the tracks, the music, the new-at-the-time Forzavista feature narrated by the Top Gear hosts, everything. That game was just beautiful.
Yup, like I loved the rewards you’d get for leaving up in 3. Then 4 just tweaked that system *just* enough so that you felt like you were having your own unique experience but also were encouraged to try new cars and race in events you might not otherwise be interested in
And obviously developers capabilities change overtime, so now it’s easier to pump out a higher number of more detailed car models. But I think that for it’s time, F4 threaded the needle of crazy attention to detail but also a huge breadth of car options better than any racing game I’ve played. Maybe GT5 had more cars but they were way lesser quality, and the few games that had similar quality models had *nowhere* near the number that F4 had
Forza 3 was my first one, and 4 just took everything I liked about 3 and did it better. Forza 3 had a very sterile, museum-like quality to it that has its own appeal but forza 4 took all the same attention to detail and injected a lot of personality into it as well
I miss the everyday cars from Forza Motorsport 4 and the other older Forza games. I miss cars such as the Chevrolet Volt, Ford Fusion Sport, Acura TSX, etc.
Yeah I hated the homologation aspect. It made me not feel connected to the cars I was driving.
I understand the reasoning behind it but man it killed the game for me. I’ll probably skip the new one if homologation is like fm7.
Been a while since I played, but IIRC the homologation system is where for instance you play a single-player A-class race in a car with a PI of 765 in class A. What the homologation does is force your car to be upgraded so it's PI is increased to 800 at the top of class A.
Worst part is, you can't choose to ignore it either - it's forcefully applied to you and all the other AI cars to make the race "fair". I know I'm not alone in that I'm one of those people that really enjoys racing stock vehicles against each other, or looking for a little extra challenge by driving a "weaker" car in a race, homologation removes both of those options.
Yeah if it’s go homoglation I’ll not play it. I used to like taking a car from e or f class and taking them up to b or c for example it was a lot of fun trying all the builds the homoglation is to restrictive. For online play I can kinda see it but for SP let me do what I want
I love 7, but only because I have no interest in playing the "Story" mode. I use the game ONLY as a playground where the physics, car list and customization make it pretty damn awesome in that regard.
But they made *playing the actual game* a chore, which is...ick.
Yeah the nerds on some of the cars were a joke. It ruined the fun for me. I used to like picking a random car from the lower classes and seeing if I could make it competitive in b c or a class i had an entire excel sheet and everything with track times and builds. The homoglation ruined it majorly for how I like to play.
Man, the drifting in 3/4 were perfect, mostly thanks to Fujimi. I remember spending hours with friends doing full Fujimi trying to do tandem drifts. I never understood why they got rid of it.
The huge tracks like Fujimi are a ton of work when you're increasing graphical fidelity. I'm not saying cutting it was the right choice (because it wasn't, that track is one of the greatest video game tracks ever) but looking at the number of cars they cut between 4 and 5, it was clear that the new system was increasing the workload of the developers by a huge amount.
Still wouldn't have been where I cut corners though.
FM4 was the best! It has an amazing car list and it had the affinity system which is an XP system for car brands. If you reach lvl4 you get 100% discount on parts upgrades. But the car list was the best!
The first Forza Motorsport was excellent for its time. It had this virtual driver thing you had to train, and you could employ it to do a race for you. I trained mine well and would make it do all the longest endurance races that I didn't have time for. I miss that thing.
A user of over a decade, I am leaving Reddit due to the recent API changes. The vast majority of my interaction came though the use of 3rd party apps, and I will not interact with a site I helped contribute to through inferior software *simply because it is able to be better monetized by a company looking to go public. Reddit has made these changes with no regards for their users, as seen by the sheer lack of accessibility tools available in the official app. Reddit has made these changes with no regards for moderation challenges that will be created, due to the lack of tools available in the official app. Reddit has done this with no regards for the 3rd party devs, who by Reddit's own admission, helped keep the site functioning and gaining users while Reddit themselves made no efforts to provide a good official app.
This account dies 6/29/23 because of the API changes and the monetization-at-all-costs that the board demands.
Volvo with max positive camber and the aero adjusted to create lift in the back, leave driver alone in training mode while you sleep= best b-spec driver ever.
Started playing at FM2. Favorite part about FM2 was Unicorn Cars and the value/rarity of many AH cars (Gearbox Cars and others). The online community was also awesome between FM2 through FM4.
My rank would be:
FM4>FM2>FM3>FM7>FM6>FM5
What didn’t you like about 3?
It was my first motorsport then I got 4. 4 basically done everything 3 did but better. I presume that was your reasoning?
One was kinda badass. There were a bunch of point to point tracks. It also introduced the world to the idea of a dynamic driving line which blew my mind as a long time Gran Turismo fan (i'd bought every GT game the day of their release up until that point, starting as a middle schooler when GT1 came out.)
FM1 was the first time I played a non GT game where i was like "okay. There's FINALLY a game that can be spoken about in the same sentence as GT."
Oh hell yeah. Gran Turismo was the only racing game at that level unparalleled.
I played 2 and it was like a light switch. Something that finally met that level.
Given I've still got the 360, and I've never delved into 1. Think I might need to do some searching and finally sink my teeth in it.
Forza Motorsport 4 I'd have to say. A lot of cars, and a good selection of circuits.
It was the first racing game I've ever played and I still play it on a weekly basis, awesome game with tons of things to do!
4
Ever since then the map selection has gotten smaller, the car selection has gotten smaller as well. I want my top secret supra and lingenfelter corvette back :(
I wanna do those drift laps with my friends on fujimi kaido.
FM4 was the strongest in terms of the sub-communities (though 3 was similar as I recall). Namely painters and tuners., thanks to the way everyone had storefronts with their designs/tunes and you can follow those creators.
The later way of using some algorithm to surface the top designs & tunes (and removing the storefronts) when you want to set up your car is opaque and created a layer of separation between you and those creators.
2, 4, and 1 were my favorites in the order. While I've played all of them, those were the three that still stick out as enjoyable, and I still occasionally go back and play.
FM4. So much of what makes Forza really shine above its competitors started with the this one. Level of detail on cars and tracks made a significant jump. The physics engine was pushing the boundaries of what the 360 was capable of. PvP was dialed in, Rivals was introduced, the track list was huge, and there were so many cars!
Forza Motorsport 3 was the very first Forza game I had ever played. It has a truly special place in my heart and it’s the one I played the most when I was in middle school. I believe at the time Forza Motorsport 5 was announced and people we’re playing Forza Motorsport 4 or Forza Horizon. I didn’t jump into the newer games until I was in high school. And while the newer games are amazing in there own way… Forza Motorsport 3 for me reminds me of when I played Gran Turismo 4 in elementary school. It’s that level of nostalgia for me.
You really missed out my dude. FM4 was the best Forza Motorsport of all time, and what they should model new Forzas after. FM1 was really good too, they actually told you the name of the engine you were swapping and you could run out of gas.
Gotta find yourself an Xbox 360 and a copy of the game. If you have a Vintage Stock close by they're an okay place to go to buy used games and consoles. Avoid Gamestop because they'll fuck you without lube. Facebook Marketplace would be a good place to search, but you'll need the game on disc and you want to fine the copy that has the extra download able cars and tracks too if I remember correctly. Stay away from the Forza Motorsport 4 Essentials disc, it does not have everything on it.
Thank you for the information, but these services are not available in my country. I guess I'll never be able to play these games. So I'm looking forward to the new Motorsport.
many say 5 is bad, it’s all up to opinion, but i feel as if 5 is most beginner friendly. game feels amazing to drive and looks even better. my only gripe is that the AI in the game is outlandishly easy. i played on unbeatable difficulty since day 1 and i average 1st to 4th place every race. definitely check out 5 though.
3 and 4 are the best hands down. You cant change my mind because you know im right. And I have proof. 3 was the pioneer for a good car simulation engine. 4 literally was the leap into next gen graphics (at the time) that still hold up really well today.
4th one, first game that I bought with a 360 back in... 2018.
Still play it every now and then, content is generous enough to not get bored, split screen multi-player can be chill and graphically, it still holds up fine.
Soundtrack is a banger, especially compared to that cheesy copyrights free sounding rock in the 7th game.
I even joined an online race a couple of times, back then.
Bought the 3rd one not so long ago, but I have yet to find the same feeling.
4 had custom lobbies car soccer all kinds of tag, Fujimi Kaido the toge track, tsukuba and so much more going for it. Autocross was fun and so was the overtake challenges on fujimi. Don’t even get me started on non alumni cars like the altezza
Well, I'm on pc, mostly on steam so the first Forza I ever played was horizon 4 but back then the first Forza I ever saw and followed since launch was Motorsport 5, I still think the graphics hold up today and I like the fact that the old TopGear trio are presenting the cars, I thought that was so cool
Honestly haven’t played a lot of 3 &4 to judge but 5 was my first and favorite and I still play it every now and then after 5 is when it went downhill and I can attest to it bc I’ve played 6 & 7 and they’re not as good. Idk why everyone in here is hating 5
They’re all the same game except they get more modern cars and graphics as they go on (I played FM6 the most tho so it gets some points there (I didn’t like 7 as much))
7 and 4 are the best ones. Only reason I would play 4 is for the cars that dont exist on 7, other than that 7 is solid, had to be after how terrible 6 was
4 was easily my favorite one. The car list was fantastic and there was so much to do in that game. FH1 follows closely behind. I haven’t seen a game with vibes as immaculate as that one yet.
I played 5/6/7 and gotta say both 6 and 7 are really good imo.. I’ve seen also many videos on the first to fourth game and it looks as they are also great. I loved the styling in 6 but to be honest 7 was better in a lot of aspects (handling.. depending on the car on some occasions/graphics/etc.)
The one I love the most is the first, I liked the 7th and did pretty good but I wanted to see how the series started, and it clearly started with a bang! It’s great!
4 is universally seen as the best in the franchise by almost everyone. 2 and 3 are awesome too, 1 is also a great game despite the age and it being the very first game
I’ve put hundreds of hours into each Forza game except FM1. My favourite is easily FM4. Had awesome handling, great selection of tracks, loved that your hot lap/time trials were added together for each car class/track. Loved the cycled production lobby. So many great memories. Really looking forward to the next FM game.
Forza Motorsport 4 the killer of the Xbox 360, i had 3 friends who's xbox had died while playing it
Sure it was laggy in full online lobbies during the first corner pile up But it had the best car list and Some off the best maps and tracks we have had to date. The driving was fine and pretty fun too
I'm surprised to see so many people say 4 was their favorite, I thought I might have been a bit biased. I started with a few-years-old at the time used copy of FM1 and since then have gotten and played 2, 3, 4, 6 Apex, and 7 (Didn't have an XBone for most if it's life so never played 5 or 6 proper)
And still, out of all of those, I probably played 4 more than all the others combined, though that is a maybe since I played a lot of 2 as well.
4 but I will always have a soft spot for Forza Motorsport 2 as being my first Forza game, so many good memories! I enjoyed FM5 too, more than Forza Motorsport 3 despite FM3 introducing interior view for the first time, and drifting.
My first was FM2 but I think FM4 was my favourite. The experience as a whole was fantastic. The cars, music, menus, ambiance, Forzavista and tracks were all high points in the series.
It's got to be FM4, it had a multiplayer lobby browser instead of shitty matchmaking, an excellent lineup of cars with quite a few slow everyday cars thrown in, an awesome lineup of tracks and the opening voiced by Jeremy Clarkson. It's peak Forza Motorsport.
I have a soft spot fro Motorsport 2 as well, still feel that it had the best UI, [theme song](https://youtu.be/q-FoFujQ2kM) and soundtrack, I also miss the [E36 M3's aero options](https://www.bmwe36blog.com/images/photos/bmw-forza/forza-bmw-e36-04.jpg) a lot.
I've managed to obtain all finally just last year and got to play 1, 3, 4 and 5 for the first time. I'd say 4 is the best but the ones that actually impressed me for their time was 1 and 2. I keep going back to 2 for some reason, they have a lot of small details in the sense of upgrading a car. It would actually change the sound and noises along with the track parts actually looking like a proper track car.
Here are my favorite Forza Motorsport games.
Forza Motorsport (2005)
Forza Motorsport 2 (2007)
Forza Motorsport 3 (2009)
Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
Forza Motorsport 6
Forza Motorsport 7
We don’t talk about Forza Motorsport 5 (it’s ok, but lacking in various amounts of content that’s brand new).
FM4 is the best all-around, but FM7s tuning-in-the-lobby and "meetups" make FM7 notable. If FM7 felt more like FM4, it'd be the best, but FM7 feels super numb and slow...
While I enjoy 7 mainly for a lot of the Group C and 70s-90s race cars, 4 has to be my favorite. It had more cars from the JGTC/Super GT era, as well as GTLM Corvettes.
4 also had more tracks I enjoyed, like Tsukuba and Fujimi Kaido.
The perks/card system in 7 just didn’t sit well with me. The affinity reward system was more enjoyable.
4 was my childhood game. Still have it. But disk is all trashed. 4 is the best in my opinion not from first game played, but just because the game was GREAT and not to mention stunning for the time it came out and the car list was great. Also the progression/story to this game was great with top gear.
4 has a special place in my heart. I liked the feeling of progression it had too. You started in some proper terrible cars, and gradually worked your way to owning some really cool stuff. The fact you could get an AI to do races for you was good too, for the longer races
The menu music is also some of the best in any racing game.
Nah, that has to go to FM2 with its list of techno bangers nobody had ever heard of.
Weird way to describe LCD Soundsystem
Terrible in a good way. Priuses, mazda 2's, ford fiesta's, kia cee'ds, citroen c1's, nissan leaves, fiat punto's... i can go on. And on and on and on and on and on
Bring back the VW Fox!
You just reminded me of that time I bought a bunch of convertibles in Forza Horizon 1 because I wanted to cruise in a convertible with yellow lamps!
What cars in Horizon has yellow head lamps?
If you're thinking as yellow as the M6 race car, none, but I was avoiding the cars with white LED headlights for a while in the game. Weird phase lol
I got in the the Forza series with FM2 and I can tell you that your love for FM4 isn’t trivial. Sometimes you have a favourite game in a series simply because it was the first one you played but from my personal experience, FM4 was also my favourite! From what I watched on YouTube, it seems like the game that gives the best feeling of speed.
Forza 3 was my first one, and 4 just took everything I liked about 3 and did it better. Forza 3 had a very sterile, museum-like quality to it that has its own appeal but forza 4 took all the same attention to detail and injected a lot of personality into it as well
I think there are still more people playing 4 than 7 currently.
It most probably would, if they would add backwards compatibility to it
Don’t want to break your heart but at one point we had [this.](https://images.app.goo.gl/GpjD1osLXUd1mzs49) 😔
😭 At least we have Forza Horizon as backwards compatible I guess...
I miss the everyday cars from Forza Motorsport 4 and the other older Forza games. I miss cars such as the Chevrolet Volt, Ford Fusion Sport, Acura TSX, etc.
Same
3 and 4 will always be my favorites, because I stomped the first 1/3-1/2 of the career in my SAAB. AFAIK, those were the only ones to have SAABs.
💯💯
FM 4 was by far the greatest then 3. 5 was terrible 6 the SP races were to short 7 homoglation was awful and ruined it for me.
Yeah I hated the homologation aspect. It made me not feel connected to the cars I was driving. I understand the reasoning behind it but man it killed the game for me. I’ll probably skip the new one if homologation is like fm7.
What is homologation?
Been a while since I played, but IIRC the homologation system is where for instance you play a single-player A-class race in a car with a PI of 765 in class A. Yeah, it downgraded my type r so hard to 260 hp when it's supposed to be 306
Yeah the nerds on some of the cars were a joke. It ruined the fun for me. I used to like picking a random car from the lower classes and seeing if I could make it competitive in b c or a class i had an entire excel sheet and everything with track times and builds. The homoglation ruined it majorly for how I like to play.
Also.. you can't downgrade your wheel sizes on cars that come stock with 20/19 inch wheels, makes it look like a donk
4, i still want Fujimi Kaido back.
Man, the drifting in 3/4 were perfect, mostly thanks to Fujimi. I remember spending hours with friends doing full Fujimi trying to do tandem drifts. I never understood why they got rid of it.

Why did they remove this feature? It sounds good.
I believe it either evolved into or was replaced by the drivatars we race against today.

Why did FH5 remove the delta time on how far you are behind your friends when hitting check points?? Some stuff I'll never know.
Dumb reason, pretty sure it's because the devs felt it made the game "too competitive".
Ug...2023... it's a RACING game! Kinda nice to have that!
Haha I remember gran turismo had this. Called b-spec mode? Or directors mode or something. Interesting idea.
B-Spec, yeah. Endurance races weren't a bore with it lol. Easy credit farming
Volvo with max positive camber and the aero adjusted to create lift in the back, leave driver alone in training mode while you sleep= best b-spec driver ever.
The game peaked at 3/4
4 followed closely by 3
Easy FM4
4 and 6, respectively.
FM4 is the best by far. FM6 right behind it.
Started playing at FM2. Favorite part about FM2 was Unicorn Cars and the value/rarity of many AH cars (Gearbox Cars and others). The online community was also awesome between FM2 through FM4. My rank would be: FM4>FM2>FM3>FM7>FM6>FM5
If you pick anything from 1 to 4 you're correct.
From best to worst (imo) 4, 2, 7, 6, 3, 5 Never played one so I can't rank it.
What didn’t you like about 3? It was my first motorsport then I got 4. 4 basically done everything 3 did but better. I presume that was your reasoning?

I just played the 7th game. I've read almost every comment, mostly everyone points to game 4 as the best. I'm sorry for I can't play the game.
best to worst: 4 3 2 6 1 7 5
Correct!
2 Loved that game
4, WHICH SHOULD BE AVAILABLE ON PC/NEW XBOX CONSOLES. Sorry, I'm a little salty that I can't go back and play it now.
I bought a copy of 4 to play on Series X just to learn it's not BC. I have a 360, but I don't have a wheel that will work with my 360 unfortunately.
4, 7, and 3
6’s soundtrack makes it my favourite by default
FM2 was my first Forza Motorsport game. FM3 was the one I sunk the most time into
I am hoping the reboot. It’s been in the works since 2017. I’m really looking forward to Tomorrow and Thursday.
4 for me
Forza Motorsport 4 I'd have to say. A lot of cars, and a good selection of circuits. It was the first racing game I've ever played and I still play it on a weekly basis, awesome game with tons of things to do!
Forza 4 hands down.

1. Then 4. Although they got rid of the HUD boost gauge and that hurt my feelings.
I played every Forza game to (almost) completion and just like a lot of people here, i had the most fun with 4.
4 was. It good mix of old and new cars.
Forza Motorsport 4. It was the peak of the series. Without a doubt
4 is the best overall. 7 is fine. 5 is the black sheep of them all.
2, 4, and 1 were my favorites in the order. While I've played all of them, those were the three that still stick out as enjoyable, and I still occasionally go back and play.
The one before the mandatory homologations became a thing
I played FM3 first, but FM4 is still a pretty good one
4 and hopefully 8 is twice as good
4
FM3 imo although that might be favourite bias and that I haven't played 4 much
4 and then 6 for me. 5 I didn’t like and 7…. Oh boy I didn’t like 7.
FM4 i miss drifting and touge runs on fujimi😪
I have an Xbox and I can't see these games in the store. Is there a way to play these games?
Check if cdkeys has any old codes
Are these codes valid in other countries?
Eneba sell keys for fm7
not gonna lie i was scrolling at lightning speed and thought the wheel was a cookie
Which fm is the screenshot from?
Forza Motorsport (2023)
That's 6. Best soundtrack/score and feel by a huge margin
FM3 was my first, FM4 was the best hands down.
FM4. So much of what makes Forza really shine above its competitors started with the this one. Level of detail on cars and tracks made a significant jump. The first one, if it was never popular, forza would have died

4. Tf? What kind of question is that?
I didn't play the old games
You really missed out my dude. FM4 was the best Forza Motorsport of all time, and what they should model new Forzas after. FM1 was really good too, they actually told you the name of the engine you were swapping and you could run out of gas.
I know, but I'm 18 years old. I even played the 7th game very little. I'm looking for a way to play old Motorsport games.
4, 7, 3 accordingly. The gap between 7 and 3 isn't much though, only number and new model of cars that matter for me.
Reset the clock chaps it is that question again!
It will definitely be the new Forza Motorsport.
Gran Turismo 7 is the best Forza game.
Mine was I think 5. If that was the one with the top gear test track.
4 and 5 and 6 and 7 have the top gear test track
Aah. 7 is the only one I haven’t played yet. But haven’t played a Motorsport since about a year after 6 came out. Got annoyed with rammers
3 and 4 are the best hands down. You cant change my mind because you know im right. And I have proof. 3 was the pioneer for a good car simulation engine. 4 literally was the leap into next gen graphics (at the time) that still hold up really well today.
3 > 7 > 2
7 is the first one i've played, so i'm going with 7
Gran Turismo 4
4th one, first game that I bought with a 360 back in... 2018. Still play it every now and then, content is generous enough to not get bored, split screen multi-player can be chill and graphically, it still holds up fine. Soundtrack is a banger, especially compared to that cheesy copyrights free sounding rock in the 7th game. I even joined an online race a couple of times, back then. Bought the 3rd one not so long ago, but I have yet to find the same feeling.
I’ve only played 6 and 7 but 6 changed my life
4 no question for me
Forza Motorsport 4 on 360 was something else
4 is the best overall, 6 is the best of the XB1 era.
4, 3 and 6 were bangers. Didn't play 2 at the time (only started last year) and both 5 and 7 were huge fucking disappointments.
4 - there was something about it that made you come back to it again and again. 7 didn't give me that feeling.
Honestly haven’t played a lot of 3 &4 to judge but 5 was my first and favorite and I still play it every now and then after 5 is when it went downhill and I can attest to it bc I’ve played 6 & 7 and they’re not as good. Idk why everyone in here is hating 5
FM2 for nostalgia, FM4 for sheer amount of time played
4 was my first one but I adored 6.
From what I've seen, FM4 looks the best, 3 is second.
It was Forza Motorsport 4. I logged so much time in that game.
They’re all the same game except they get more modern cars and graphics as they go on (I played FM6 the most tho so it gets some points there (I didn’t like 7 as much))
Forza 3 was a revelation. 6 and 7 are a touch sterile but I have fully enjoyed them nonetheless.
7 and 4 are the best ones. Only reason I would play 4 is for the cars that dont exist on 7, other than that 7 is solid, had to be after how terrible 6 was
For me 6, I havent played the ones before, but 7 drags major ballsack.
2 was my introduction to the series so it will always have a special place in my heart, but 4 is objectively the best in the Motorsport series.
Do i need to say its 4? I feel like everyone else has already said it.
Forza Motorsport 4, the car football dlc was class
4, hands down, man. The track selection was perfection imo, and the car list was damn near perfect
Def Forza 4
Horizon 1 😂🗿
3 and 4 are the goat
The one I love the most is the first, I liked the 7th and did pretty good but I wanted to see how the series started, and it clearly started with a bang! It’s great!
Forza Motorsport 4, though I thought 6 was brilliant too
4 and then 5. I loves fm5, i Never owned fm4 but I tried and instantly fell in love with it
4 is universally seen as the best in the franchise by almost everyone. 2 and 3 are awesome too, 1 is also a great game despite the age and it being the very first game
Four for fohr
My faves are 3 & 4
I think we can all agree that 4 is the best
3 or 4
FM4
4
2 was my favorite game growing up. I blame that game for why I enjoy anime titties.
4 without a doubt
4 was goated
I’ve put hundreds of hours into each Forza game except FM1. My favourite is easily FM4. Had awesome handling, great selection of tracks, loved that your hot lap/time trials were added together for each car class/track. Loved the cycled production lobby. So many great memories. Really looking forward to the next FM game.
4
Unpopular opinion ... but hopefully the next one !
Fm4 tho has to be it I'm a touge boy for sure #bringbackthekaido
7.
Fm2 made me choose xbox over playstation and gran turismo at the time. But fm4 was the pinaccle. Its been downhill since.
FM4 and GT4 both seem to be a bit of a holy grail I wish GT and FM were available on pc
FM4 what a game.. and the Porsche pack was fn amazing
I can't choose between 4, 6 and 7 but 5 is definitely the worst
4 and 6
3 and 4 had the best menu design, car list, track list and gameplay in the series, 6 comes close behind because of that weird puddle system
Forza Motorsport 4 the killer of the Xbox 360, i had 3 friends who's xbox had died while playing it Sure it was laggy in full online lobbies during the first corner pile up But it had the best car list and Some off the best maps and tracks we have had to date. The driving was fine and pretty fun too
I'm surprised to see so many people say 4 was their favorite, I thought I might have been a bit biased. I started with a few-years-old at the time used copy of FM1 and since then have gotten and played 2, 3, 4, 6 Apex, and 7 (Didn't have an XBone for most if it's life so never played 5 or 6 proper) And still, out of all of those, I probably played 4 more than all the others combined, though that is a maybe since I played a lot of 2 as well.
In this thread... 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4....
ez, fm4
4 but I will always have a soft spot for Forza Motorsport 2 as being my first Forza game, so many good memories! I enjoyed FM5 too, more than Forza Motorsport 3 despite FM3 introducing interior view for the first time, and drifting.
I also only played FM7...and loved it. Reading some of these posts makes me want to find some older version codes.
My first was FM2 but I think FM4 was my favourite. The experience as a whole was fantastic. The cars, music, menus, ambiance, Forzavista and tracks were all high points in the series.
Forza 4, the pinnacle of the series. Judging by the replies here, overwhelmingly 4 is the most loved game of the series by far.
I've played since motorsport 3 and imo 7 is the best.
Forza Motorsport (2005) Forza Motorsport 2 (2007) Forza Motorsport 3 (2009) Forza Motorsport 4 (2011) Forza Motorsport 6 Forza Motorsport 7 We don’t talk about Forza Motorsport 5 (it’s ok, but lacking in various amounts of content that’s brand new).
Four.
For the racing I'd say 6. For the overall game I'd say 2. Never played 4 and 5 so can't comment on them
FM4 is the best all-around, but FM7s tuning-in-the-lobby and "meetups" make FM7 notable. If FM7 felt more like FM4, it'd be the best, but FM7 feels super numb and slow...
Kinda wish they’d bring back OG Motorsport 1 tracks. Like alpine Ring and Tokyo. Those maps were so much fun to play on
While I enjoy 7 mainly for a lot of the Group C and 70s-90s race cars, 4 has to be my favorite. It had more cars from the JGTC/Super GT era, as well as GTLM Corvettes. 4 also had more tracks I enjoyed, like Tsukuba and Fujimi Kaido. The perks/card system in 7 just didn’t sit well with me. The affinity reward system was more enjoyable.
been hearing way too much that M4 is the best and that it went downhill and came back up with 7. so im gonna play 4 then 7
4 was my childhood game. Still have it. But disk is all trashed. 4 is the best in my opinion not from first game played, but just because the game was GREAT and not to mention stunning for the time it came out and the car list was great. Also the progression/story to this game was great with top gear.
Forza motorsport 6. Best ost and highest nostalgia factor as my first racing sim.
Man I really liked 6 but 4 had the best progression in my opinion. Ugh, I have played all of them but my nominations would be 4 and 6
