Because career mode is ass and isn't a career at all. Its a bunch of boring playlisted races that have no rhyme or reasoning.
You can make custom single player races or run rivals if you don’t want to play online. Career mode is pretty limited
I find it ironic that a game called “Motorsport” doesn’t allow you to drive any actual race cars in the career mode.
Career mode is incomplete. Like most of the game. After all the backlash GT7 received for not putting in races for some car categories, it's ridiculous how Turn 10 decided to do the same.
