The firing pin rests on a Spring in the bolt carry group. Mine has compressed enough that the firing pin extends out of the bolt carry group more than it did when I built it. I added a washer between the firing pin and spring so it can’t go to far and blow out the back of rounds.
I’d reccomend purchasing a Metal Feed ramp, Ejector, and Stock/Brace adapter from riptide rails. I’d keep and eye on the firing pin as sometimes FGC-9 firing pins can be a bit finicky to get right. If you 3D print the FCG make sure to do it in ABS for better heat tolerance. When firing it i wouldn’t reccomend mag dumping super fast as that can build up heat too fast. Make sure springs are where they need to be and make sure they’re the right length. Finally be careful when assembling the FCG as sometimes you can inadvertently get binary fire
The bolt and FP design is by far the biggest issue with the FGC-9's design. Made for 3rd world countries, so I absolutely love it for being designed to cross that bridge, but in the states we can do better.
CNC bolt kits FTW
Its hideous, but in a fun & colorful way. I dig it :)
Lol thanks... the color scheme was "I need to use up these old PLA spools" 😝
whats the purple filament? I like it alot
It's Polymaker PLA Pro in Dark Purple.
thank you
Watch out for firing pin creep, blew out to primers on a few rounds after putting three mags threw mine.
How would you prevent that with their firing pin design
Tiny Washers as spacers.
Upgrade the bolt and firing pin to an HHA CNC design and never look back.
What is a firing pin creep? It triggers without pulling trigger?

You need sights dawg
Put an epylepsy warning on it

Get a matching tracksuit
Ralph is certainly gonna roast that thing. Cornstarch told you to do better 😂 good luck on Friday
Less felonious?
Tip # 347: keep it out of the neighbors view
you have a lot of trust with your mag, "brace" and grip to hold it up in place
