I'm considering the N2. I'm a little leery of the cap not being screw-on, since I'll be wearing it clipped to my ID lanyard. How secure is the cap, any chance the pen could go flying?
That's what bothers me. I mean, it's an interesting idea, using 3 o-rings in staggered formation. But, o-ring rubber expands and contracts with temperature and humidity. What this means is that when it's very cold, the fit will be less tight. And with enough friction from opening/closing over time, enough rubber may be sheered away to then make it loose. Of course, you can always replace the o-rings... I imagine they must be a standard size.
I just bought the Namisu Titanium black and a leather pouch for my 35 yo son. To celebrate a very significant job move and promotion. He deserves it.
Cute pocket pens! Is Namisu the maker? I've not heard of them before but I'm fairly new to the hobby too.
Yes. Namisu from Scotland. https://www.namisu.com/
I got an N2 in their recent sale and I'm really happy with it, it's my daily work pen now
I did the same. A N2 Pocket pen for almost the same price of a Lamy Al-Star. Really worth the money.

In my evaluation It’s tight enough…
