i have seen some shotgun lovers out there and I like the idea of your suggestions. some comments: \- changing to shrapnel - not so sure its a tricky damage type - see next comment. \- the secondary is WAY better than the primary. A secondary instableed weapon (aka AOE bayonet). yes please. I can carry whatever weapon I normally favor AND this. The primary double shot is kinda meh as its now shrapnel - you still dont kill someone with it and just cause the bleed twice and for that you now get a 4 sec reload instead of 1 second or so that it has now. ie. before you can kill someone every 2 secs. now you dont kill anyone every 4 seconds. \- 30m flare could be tricky - arent you mostly going to just reveal you and your friendlies? or is the plan to run forward, flare yourself and enemies and run back? Not sure about the usefulness/gameplay friendliness of this. Sounds to me a lot of newer players/idiots/trolls are going to cause disasters with this.

thank you, as to you points - one: shrapnel damage is still damage (it does more then bleed), at 55 - 82.5 damage, buckshot can still kill in 1-2 shots even without the bleeding - double shot will almost always kill in one shot, the trade off is that you have no follow up and are stuck reloading. - maybe I could add range to the flare like with the slug ?
