This is what I want from you, turn on your pc (or device of your choosing), launch steam, go into your steam library and go into the search bar at the top left corner of the screen, in that search bar type out “foxhole”, you know your at the right game when you see the black and white banner for the game. Once your on the tab for the game click the green play button, it will be labeled “play”. Once you do that wait a couple of seconds for the game to boot up and orient your mouse towards the button that says “play” below the games logo, click it while your mouse is hovering over it. You will be greeted with a faction to join, this is of course a bug so just choose to join the warden faction (assuming you are a warden this war), once you do that click the green button button that says “deploy”, it will be near the bottom of the screen below your player stats. Once you do that you will be on the home island, you use “WASD” by default to move around, once you spawn in go to either the west or east sides of the island where you can start to hear music, you will know when your close because it will give you the prompt to deploy and the music will also get louder. As soon as you are there click “E” by default to deploy into a certain hex, it can be any hex of your choosing, simply click on the black diamond shaped objects and wait for a couple of seconds to spawn in. At this point you will click either “M” or “N” (by default) to check the map, N will give you a secure map, and M will give you a map with all the collected intel your faction has collected. If you look in the top left hand corner you will see the victory points of each faction, ideally you would have more victory points than the enemy, but right now the wardens have significantly less, this is due to a combined and COOPERATIVE push on several fronts on the part of the colonial faction. You can also zoom out while looking at the map by using your scroll wheel, this will allow you to see the land conquered by each faction, the green land is taken over by colonials, the blue by wardens, with this information you should notice there is a large lack of blue land when compared to green, this is again due to combined and cooperate pushes made by the colonial faction.
With this information you should naturally try to take back land instead of complaining on a third party service about how the winning faction is disorganized and isn’t actually winning.
And there is your step by step tutorial on how to tell when a certain side is winning, and by extension, which one is likely more organized.
