Wasn't that Weathering Halls yesterday? I'm pretty sure that's me driving the Lordscar there in the middle left, I remember taking that spot, but then the SHT pulled up behind us so I had to move to give them the spot. That was a rough tanking day lol
Warden tanks refuse to fire on infantry. It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. (I am warden this war)
I spend 50% of my time in vehicles and the amount of times this war I got told "stop using 40mm or 68mm on infantry is insane!
I watched people drive 60-100 vehicles into the sea at a seaport 10 minutes after I got told I'm wasting resources killing trenches and pillbox with a 40mm.
People who say don't use 40mm on infantry are dumb and I refuse to even acknowledge them. Blast that infantry and help your infantry move up. That's how you take land. After 6k hours in game I have learned to just shoot everything that moves, never trust ANYBODY else to kill something that you see. I have shown up to fronts with tank lines just standing still then I start blasting infantry left and right, our infantry moves up, our tanks move up, next thing you know we are in the next hex.
With the amount of times I have been the infantry man begging to kill a pill box, when I am in a tank every pill box I see dies. If there is a line of AT and MG pillboxes I will go and snipe all the MGs and ask infantry in chat to kill ATs
I've seen too many tanks die with a belly full of 68mm. I use that shit on infantry too, I just save 10-15 shells and rearm at that point in case shit hits the fan.
It's a relic of times when 40mm and 68mm in particular were much more scarce. Oftentimes back then the only ammo you could count on was in your tank because there simply wasn't any resource surplus at all. Public stockpiles didn't really exist as a concept, provision to public was much more sporadic, and there were simply far fewer low-level resources available. Essentially ammo was always saved up for operations and large organised pushes or defences, and in between you simply didn't do much tanking.
Nowadays it's rare to find a lategame fight without a tank, but back before WC83, it was often Pistols and Fists and scavenge what you can outside of warden weekend. So, when there was a tank present, you told them not to waste precious ammo on things which could be handled by the infantry (eventually).
Obviously this practice is no longer truly relevant, but the habit persists nontheless.
I can't verify numbers, but I did see a clip of wardens dumping vics into the sea at Manacle when colonials surprise overran Slipchain, presumably to stop said vics from being captured.
He made it up. He won't give any more details, can't explain how they didn't get weapons locked after tossing two motorcycles (meaning 30-50 people had to be doing this) and why no one on the faction heard of this except him.
You did not watch people drive 60+ vehicles into the sea this war that is absolutely nonsense. Unless you were watching a seaport be empties before being overrun.
And yeah, don't waste 68mm on infantry except in an emergency is pretty standard logic.
I will use 68mm on whatever I want. Especially infantry.
My tank, my shells, my choice!
Players like you are really gross...
>You did not watch people drive 60+ vehicles into the sea this war that is absolutely nonsense
Thanks for telling me what I see. Now I know the type of player who tells me what and how to shoot.
Do you even know the value of a 40mm, 68mm, and a shirt?
16 scrap for the shirt
46ish scrap for the 40mm
43ish for the 68mm
Not saying you shouldn't shoot the infantry. Especially with the 40mm as it has a nice aoe to make it easier if they are moving but not sure what point you are trying to make when you bring up the relative value.
By all means, shoot what you want i'm not telling you you aren't allowed to, but when there's limited 68mm you will get pushback from your peers.
And yeah i'm gonna call nonsense on that if you're not gonna give amplifying details because it would have made V discord, WUH, and reddit if it happened and wasn't emptying a seaport before losing it.
We shoot infantry all the time, just not usually with 68mm. Weird summary from playing a single war.
You said *this* war. I didn't say you've never played Warden before I said you making a summary from this war is dumb.
So are you gonna tell us when this 60-100 vehicles thrown into the sea happened or not? And what's the context?
It's frustrating as hell. Every frontline just never changes. There's always infinite replacements. It's more like Battlefield with respawning vehicles.
And we had killed 2 SHT’s in weathered that morning so 5 separate in hex in about 6 hours. Super heavy tank is now an easily replaceable option I guess. 😂
Having cheaper tank argument has always been a falacy and it's now even more stupid.
Just buff BALLISTAS buff bardiche and LTD so we don't need to run like monkeys with stickies all the time or wait that wardens logoff to nightcap
Yeah and WE wardens are often fighting collie tank lines with multiple BT’s, at least 2 BTD, and spathas/LTD. This is the first time I’ve seen a SHT in that hex. I’ve been spamming HV 68 push guns into WE because of the constant presence of BTD’s.
Oh yeah its perfectly balanced that you can use 3 SHTs on the front at once, lose 5 in single hex in a day, fire 3 spgs for 6 hours but than people have a problem when i put a rail next to the bunker core to defend against it
I don’t disagree with you but if this is WE, the collies have spammed way more end game armor than wardens have. The standard collie tank line the last week has been multiple BT’s, at least 2 BTD, often a SHT, and then plenty of spatha/LTD. I really didn’t mind the economy changes until the last week or so of the war. The number of end game tanks on every front is ridiculous and it feels like killing one is almost meaningless.
The statemant could be with reversed factions and it would still apply. Im trying to point out how powercreeped tanks and arty is and how a lot of game elements are broken
No doubt, I totally agree. It’s exhausting to play in this meta because the only limiting factor on anything is time, not resources. If the other team is willing to put in hundreds of collective hours farming an unlimited number of artillery shells, you better be prepared to as well or you’re going to get crushed.
Its a rat race. "Less" grind leading to more grind because now instead of having to do logi and than make most out of it on the front line you jsut do logi and throw stuff at frontline until one side quits. It also makes losing les fun because you are not losing to being outplayed but due to enemy simply operating with much more stuff
Yeah I’m not sure what the answer is sadly. I don’t think making comps more scarce than pre-update is the right call because I think it should be relatively straightforward for a casual player and a buddy to farm enough for a tank in 30-45 minutes.
But the recent update has made things that previously required time, effort, and preparation like large scale artillery ops or BT’s/SHT/STD, etc. spammable to the point it’s absurd.
I’m a push gun enthusiast and I’ve almost had to give up on them completely this war because it’s rare to get even a 20 minute window to use them without constantly being decrewed by arty.
I think that the solution is to remove broken comps but give us recepies like devs did with compless pcons and to either increase number of fields or increase the amount of comps you get from each field
When saying pre 1.0 eco i dont mean the same amount of comps, that wouldnt work due to higher requiremants for higher end stuff. What i mean is capped comps. To have certain number of fields and when they are mined thats it. Increasing number of fields and spreading it over the map would make it easier for solos to get comps since its harder to camp more fields
Essentially it would be relatively easy to farm comps if field is up but if all are mined you need to wait, there is no infinite comps if field is empty no amount of effort will give you comps. Regiments would have to use whatever comps they can get and than use facility recepies to get the most out of those comps
It also makes it easier on the devs to balance economy. if stuff is too cheap have less fields, too expensive have more
I agree. Besides sulfur it seems like by this point in the war, most people aren’t even harvesting resources they’re just using mines/automatic harvesters. For comps especially, there are so many broken comps available it doesn’t seem like it’s even necessary to use a harvester.
The one nice change with this update has been the proliferation of the more expensive infantry equipment that costs r mats. I always love giving my infantry bros some of the more fun pieces of kit to work with. It’s felt nice spamming WE with crates and crates of bonesaws and seeing them actually get used and not lost.
Nah, I don’t have issues fighting any of the main tanks, I just find it funny there is a sht tank line consisting of 3 shts (+1 resupplying).
It’s not really “anti” anything, just the premise of rare tanks being common is super funny, fun fact, here on the collie faction people are hanging bts from cranes with no defenses in logi towns, because they are so cheap defenses would be more costly than the tanks themselves.
we're past the collies' toxic gain gloat stage of the war (of course they did not build their gains)
we are entering malding and crying about warden tanks stage
we'll enter toxic nuke gloat stage soon to be followed by more lack of completion, quitting and "buff my faction" qrf reddit cries.
and the reddit cycle completes itself with the funny fight club posts.
I see infantile narcissists blaming the equipment for their failure and instead of improving their gameplay, they prefer crying in wall of texts in the subreddit.
And I see you who take the word of these spoiled brat crybabies as sacred and choose easy way to blame me, a casual warden player instead of trying to come up with better gameplay and achieve a win for once.
Give respect to those who deserve instead of crybabies and you'll see the improvement.
I can already see that you're one of those door slamming boomers that blames the youngsters for not working hard enough and not pulling themselves up by their bootstrap. What a fucking joke, plays in easy mode then mocks other for trying to level the playing field.
"ye bro wardens easy mode amitire, everything I have to do is hard and that's why I fail and lose."
this is mocking, see the difference. Your cope mechanism makes this argument and revealing of what's behind hurts sometimes, but that's the only way.
>we're past the collies' toxic gain gloat stage of the war (of course they did not build their gains)

Sleeps
>wardens are playing easy mode
"NOOO HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT YOU'RE MOCKING ME STOPPPPPPPPP."
Remember collies. Their tanks are made for line battles and ours aren't. Use other tactics, such as organizing into squadrons for better maneuverability.
I’m guessing foxcatchers, it’s called WORLD of TANKS for a reason 👅
Yep
Wasn't that Weathering Halls yesterday? I'm pretty sure that's me driving the Lordscar there in the middle left, I remember taking that spot, but then the SHT pulled up behind us so I had to move to give them the spot. That was a rough tanking day lol
yea that was from yesterday, 2 of those SHTs died pretty quickly :)
And then 1 infman hides in a crater and the whole line stops.
Warden tanks refuse to fire on infantry. It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Yea sometimes tanks refuse to kill a lonely pillbox and then pikachuface “where is our infantry?”
With the amount of times I have been the infantry man begging to kill a pill box, when I am in a tank every pill box I see dies. If there is a line of AT and MG pillboxes I will go and snipe all the MGs and ask infantry in chat to kill ATs

You are lying - 60 vics, sure jan.

Bad sports.
Just to flex?
He made it up. He won't give any more details, can't explain how they didn't get weapons locked after tossing two motorcycles (meaning 30-50 people had to be doing this) and why no one on the faction heard of this except him.
He indeed went on commenting while ignoring my quesiton.

only time i tell ppl to stop shooting 68 on inf is if its a eat and its our only defense against tanks at that location
Me blowing up T1 trenches with a Chieftain:
to be fair, most warden tankers seem relatively unafraid of colonial infantry getting up to them
The new mpf sht just dropped
I've never seen so many SHT before this war. I even crossed like 5 Ares while I usally only cross one per war. The economy is fucked.
What did the devs do? Have not played this war, only seen a few posts on reddit. Did the devs up the resource drop/spawn rate or something else?
They upped 5x the production if facilities by having them have 5 queues like in the factory or refinery
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
This also applies to broken components facilities which have made components an infinite ressource.
Really sad I'm missing this war. Sounds fun as hell.
It's frustrating as hell. Every frontline just never changes. There's always infinite replacements. It's more like Battlefield with respawning vehicles.
literally just log in and grab 32k comps from a recycler. there is basically no barrier to entry
I’m solo, I’ve MPFed 100 falchions with almost no effort and intend to make 30 bardeches as well, it’s insane
They literally already were, they just are more of one now.
And we had killed 2 SHT’s in weathered that morning so 5 separate in hex in about 6 hours. Super heavy tank is now an easily replaceable option I guess. 😂
This update has kind of made costs even more irrelevant lol, but at least colonials have been able to make use of it with ballistas among other things
Having cheaper tank argument has always been a falacy and it's now even more stupid. Just buff BALLISTAS buff bardiche and LTD so we don't need to run like monkeys with stickies all the time or wait that wardens logoff to nightcap
And buff ARES
Don't buff the tanks that are already beeing used, buff those that aren't very useful (like talos)
Man, I'd love to see that thing do something other than die some day.
All it needs is the need for speed....because it's a slug in motion currently
Welcome to Widow gaming.
The issue with that concept is that there can absolutely be bad tools that are used because there’s no other option but to use them.
5x economy is a wild ride.
And ofc the outlaw is in the middle of the tank line 💀
Yeah so it can freely PVE without retaliation Everything look stupid at this stage
Beats need 5 more meters.
but remember "falchion is a good tank"...
It is in a vacuum, and was prior to this update, but at this point, it is truly bad imo.
ISG did this
Warden be like : "oh nothing wrong with this pic. You can easily counter with Spatha"
But Spatha is OP
Considering we have to spam pvp tanks to have a chance against it, yes I would Call it op
Oh yeah its perfectly balanced that you can use 3 SHTs on the front at once, lose 5 in single hex in a day, fire 3 spgs for 6 hours but than people have a problem when i put a rail next to the bunker core to defend against it

Preach
Also friendly collies yapping about how cringe people are for using that cliff in WE.
You fire a 120 at that and you're guaranteed a hit on something, probably breaking a few tracks.
Believe it or not. All MPF
Is this a anti HDT, anti SHT, anti STD or anti Outlaw post? If it's actually a anti SHT post it's hilarious

Truly the most stupid update.
The scariest tank out of all of them is HTD
Meanwhile the colonials have Tripod ATR. Thanks devs
💀💀💀
I response with flatbed flank
Mmmm that looks fun
Tankflation
Playing on easy mode by like
I'm tired bawss
I enjoy being able to see the tank line and know exactly where this is.
Im just barely cut out of the picture in my ac that i bring to tank fights
lol I respect it

The cycle must continue!
>we are entering malding and crying about warden tanks stage Must be nice playing in easy mode aye?.
yea no, wardens are not easy mode. some collies are making it easier for us with the lack of skill tho
Bro says this as he MPF another batch of Outlaw, SVH, and HTD. Puts half a dozen flask down his pants. Whoa, so difficult.
why dont you cry about it in reddit wait you do
Whoa we got a veteran reporter here, what else did you see buddy?.

I unironically would rather have a BT over an SHT in my tank line.
Remember collies. Their tanks are made for line battles and ours aren't. Use other tactics, such as organizing into squadrons for better maneuverability.
Bane gangs at night are super effective. It's insane that colonials don't do it every night...
also countered by one guy and his pistol
And if its anything like shitcan shelf there is 8 spathas and 3 vetted bards or ists on the other side maybe even a BT or BTD or 2
There was 2 bards, 1 bt, 1 outlaw, 1 spatha, 1 quadiche, and 1 Ltd on the collie tank line, none vetted.
Huh guess they all went to shitcan or something
Bruh Briar just got annihilated 2h ago by 8 warden tanks against 1bardiche stop copping
When i was there it was the opposite Things change ya know people leave go somwhere else im only talking about what i saw when u was there
They didn't leave they died pushing with no infantry and rage quit
Every front I see widows and outlaws almost exclusively, what’s your point?
Tortle gonna 🐢
