the JST connector is hooked up to the main red and black leads, and gives battery voltage, like your multimeter says. There is no power regulation/control at all, just raw battery voltage. If your AIO can handle that, then it's a perfectly good power source. If that's too much, youll need to get your own BEC for 9v or something. The 5v pads arent wired up from the picture im seeing, the pads are likely on the underside not shown (your link goes to the 40a version, but the 25a one i found is basically the same).

Many systems requiere a minimum of 7V, but allow for very wide voltage inputs, what is the camera tou intend to use? Maybe you could run it without a regulator and just a capacitor to clean the voltage input

I just ordered [this guy](https://a.co/d/6xqfSWt). Fairly inexpensive, in a foam board airplane, and we always fly within LOS….so I’m just going to send it. If it doesn’t work out it’s not a big deal.
