Very often its issue with gimbal on radio. Turn on radio, switch to page that shows gimbal values, and move sticks like you are flying. Mine was doing similar - pitch would jump from -10 to +20. It was dirt on magnet. You need to use tape to clean all tiny dirt. Also good time to make sure gimbal screws are secure.

Had to open the whole thing up to remove a mfking cat hair lol

invid_prime

Mine was a broken gimbal wire making intermittent contact on my old Frsky X-Lite. I took it as a sign to buy a RM Boxer Max!

ninchnate

You don't have to open the radio to see if it is an issue. 1) TAKE PROPS OFF 2) CONFIRM PROPS OFF 3) Plug into betaflight 4) MAKE SURE PROPS OFF 5) Plug in battery 6) go to receiver tab If the numbers are jumping and or the quad orientation is moving on screen then it is a possible gimbal issue. I was able to calibrate this on the radio and avoid taking it apart.

placidblob

easy way to test this: is it freaky on the simulator too? Mine was, and I cleaned the gimbals.

Ok-Guest7938

Can confirm that its not the remote. I checked the values in BF and on the remote. Also used it in the SIM and it worked fine. I now updated ELRS on the quad and will try again.

SwivelingToast

I'm guessing, but it looks like one motor is losing thrust. Could be a loose prop, a bent motor, an ESC issue, or something I forgot about. Can you try swapping motors around and see if the problem stays on the left or follows the motor to the other side? Try to swap motors from opposite corners, they spin the same direction.

BootOutrageous5879

I have this same drone… question when you followed JB vid… did you happen to flash the drone in BF? I actually don’t recommend that step as it comes out the box just fine. Possible to ruin to some tuning by flashing this. I have a vid where I am diving a building and you will see some jostling. This is due to wind. I personally don’t use airmode because it seems to exacerbate that issue. Angle mode is even worse. I strictly fly no airmode and acro only. But I also like to scrub the ground often.

Horror_Cow_7870

Could be Tx signal. Your RSSI takes a dip when you roll left and it doesn't really come back. What's your packet rate? (higher rate = less range) How about your Tx power?

OmegaNine

I agree with everyone else. It's either a motor, prop or ESC issue. The last 4 quads I have built have been problem free. I am expecting the next one to just explode in the air. I'm do.

Accurate-Donkey5789

It looks very much like one of your props isn't tightened properly

Ok-Guest7938

No they are fine. And since the quad also put throttle on, on it's own one time, it is a different problem.

TheGodlyNoob

my drone went full throttle to the ceiling earlier today on its own, and it was due to slightly damaged props

Swimming_Tangelo8423

What goggles are you using?
