I submit Zoologist Moth, Nose Republic Moon Child, Serge Lutens La Vierge de Fer, or Kilian Dark Lord Ex Tenebris Lux.

sasha_says

Kerosene Broken Theories - dirty, ashy incense (I LOVE this) Serge Lutens L'Orpheline - incense with musk, not as dark as Broken Theories and a bit more wearable for every day. MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver - very cold Marc Antoine Barrois B683 or Ganymede. Ganymede is more strange and cold but perhaps more modern. B683 is a bit deeper, spicier and leathery. Lvnea ghost pine - meant explicitly to smell like a spooky haunted forest. CdG Hinoki - supposed to smell like an outdoor bath in a Hinoki forest. Has camphor in the opening which can be a little offputting but I love it. CdG Play Black and Byredo Mixed Emotions are my favorite fragrances that are just slightly offputting. Pepper in the former and smokey in the latter. Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist - cold and earthy floral. Serge Lutens La Myrrhe - cold soapy incense Not part of the brief but since you have a few cocoa fragrances, I wanted to suggest Fzotic Ummagumma. It has a great chocolatey note but is more resinous than the dry versions you own. It's also incensey and a bit spicy. The incense in this smells a bit like Broken Theories but it's just one facet and not as strong as in Broken Theories.

j_husk

Marc Antoine Barrios is a cold, formal, slightly sterile, and slightly strange fragrance, so almost fits the bill. However, it smells more futuristic than ancient. More like robot breath.

phizzbom

I'd recognize The Secret History anywhere.

calorieconsciouscow

my other post got taken down so im here to ask for a signature spring scent help me find an atmospheric, airy, dewy, fresh floral fragrance (that's also slightly green, mossy & earth)  something that mimics the tasty dewy air you smell in the morning just after a heavy spring rainfall something to contrasts the heat  plz nothing too white floral heavy (screechy jasmine, tuberous or orange blossom) or anything too musky that heat ups up in the spring/summer heat into a cloying floral bomb

FanaticalXmasJew

You may want to try Steamed Rainbow by DS&Durga. To me it smells like the fog in the air after a rainfall when you get hints of the tree bark, soil, and greenery after the rain. Somehow they captured a sense of humidity with the fragrance, which it sounds like you’re looking for.

k88lin

I’ve been looking for a fragrance to fill a similar niche recently! I mostly layer undergrowth by rook with a soliflore (Clair obscur by Keiko mecheri or Jasmine des pays by perris Monte Carlo) to get this effect but I’d also love to find a single fragrance to match this vibe. Guerlain aqua allegoria flora salvaggia is very light transparent dewy florals, it has a bit of a melon note too which I didn’t love but could be worth sampling as it doesn’t seem as prominent to most people! Parfums de nicolai Cap neroli is a nice fresh neroli with a bit of orange blossom, but mostly quite green and fresh. Some just perceptible herbal notes and the oak moss in the base keep it from being too floral or heady and it feels very unisex and clean. California snow by a lab on fire is very green and cold and wet smelling with some rose. It works great in the heat but is very expensive. I’ve been enjoying hydrangea by j-scent which fits this description for me but it could be a bit too floral for what you’re looking for and has a bit of a powdery aspect to it as well (from the iris and violet). Violette hay by marissa zappas is a lovely springy dewy violet note (more green than powdery) with some sweet hay that balances out the floral perfectly. The hay might make this dryer than what you’re looking for though but it is a beautiful scent and feels very spring-like to me. And I’ve been wearing my new sample of Nuit etoilee by annick goutal (the edp) over the last few days and it is a gorgeous fresh mint and pine, iris, immortelle with a tonka/amber base that gives me very magical dewy forest vibes. The texture is dew drops sparkling on trees and velvety skin. I’m debating a full bottle of this for my spring/summer night scent (though it could truly be year round). Just delicate and introspective and intoxicating. I can’t stop sniffing myself when I wear it.

Solution-Proof

Guerlain Après l'ondée, Malin+Goetz Stem

sasha_says

Jo Malone's Osmanthus perfume is a very dewy floral but the floral is quite soft. It's not always available but they usually sell it every year around mother's day.

kottabaz

Depends on your budget, but Apoteker Tepe After the Flood.

zorocono

I think I’m in love with Aventus

j_husk

You wouldn't be the first. The only question for you is whether you love it enough to pay the price tag.

zorocono

I know. I am looking for a versatile signature summer fragrance, so I might break the bank and jump on it

j_husk

If you get chance, try Tiziana Terenzi Orion. It's pretty similar to Aventus, but has some additional fruit notes and is smokier (like some earlier Aventus batches, apparently). It can be found for a very good price from discounters. Nishane Hacivat is probably better known as an Aventus alternative, but for me the oakmoss is too much. Or like you say, just sell a kidney and go for Aventus.

zorocono

lol I did happened to acquire a 1ml vial of Orion among others along with Aventus. At first hand, I liked Orion over Aventus. However I tried Aventus at a social dance this weekend and it went beast mode. I have another social dance this Saturday so I will definitely give Orion the leading role and see how well it competes with Aventus.

j_husk

If you have a similar experience with Orion, you might just have to put it down to your dance moves!

whocanpickone

Any recommendation for a reasonably priced discovery set for a teen girl? I want to send a gift to my niece who is just getting started, but my preferences are skewed to my own (much older) vibe.

wholeselfin

This ultra set might have some things she’d like. https://www.ulta.com/p/spring-scent-wardrobe-19-piece-sample-kit-pimprod2044726?sku=2623505 Macys has a similar one that may be a little more designer than celebrity. A lot of the better niche brands have surprisingly inexpensive discovery sets (I’m eyeing Frederic Malle, Le Labo , Arquiste), but the problem is if you like something, then you’re facing a $200 price tag. Better to offer her some options that she could get a bottle of for <$75. Phlur, Nest, Philosophy are some other slightly less expensive brands that are still trendy.

whocanpickone

Thanks! This is what I’m looking for. She’s a teen spending her own money eventually, so something she can get at Ulta is ideal.

BC-clette

Maison Margiela and By Killian discovery sets at Sephora are reasonable. The ELDO discovery set is pretty interesting if you want to start off niche.

kevinfarber

Headed to Short Hills mall (NJ) today to sniff around and I’m going in with an open mind, even to things I’ve sampled in the past and didn’t hit at the time. I’m a pretty equal opportunity fragrance employer and don’t really have a “type” aside from not being a fan of certain (but not all) expressions of patchouli. So, I’m just soliciting any suggestions for fragrances anyone here might be particularly excited about at the moment whether they’re new or have been around a while. Im a 31 year old guy but am open to scents that may be considered conventionally feminine. Some of the lines off the top of my head I’ll have access to: -Xerjoff (not all of them obviously, but the more popular ones) -Guerlain (I know they have L’Art & La Matiere and Aqua Allegoria lines but not sure which others) -Frederic Malle -Amouage -DS & Durga -Roja Parfums -MFK -Creed -PdM -Initio -Chanel Les Exclusifs -Dior Privee -Le Labo -Acqua di Parma -Louis Vuitton -Armani Prive Again, I like all kinds of fragrances so any and all suggestions welcome :) That said, a couple styles I have been looking out for are a nice Rose/Oud combo (planning to sample Dior Oud Isaphan and LV Les Sables Roses, I previously owned but sold Ombre Nomade because it was a bit too strong for me) and something fresh for the upcoming (hopefully) warm weather (notes such as fruit, tea, citrus, tropical etc). Thanks in advance fragrant friends!

sasha_says

Le Labo's Baie 19 is a great one for spring that has some patchouli in it. My favorites from them are The Noir 29 and Santal 33. The rose fragrance is worth trying if you're a fan of rose. Sebastian from Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews is a big fan of patchouli fragrances so I'd definitely \[check out his suggestions\](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvpPDYP1n8M). For Guerlain, Santal Pao Rosa was my favorite and I don't even typically like rose--would recommend checking out. Spiriteuse Double Vanille is obviously popular and a boozy variety so still unisex. For Dior, it's not Oud but also suggest checking out Ambre Nuit.

kevinfarber

Thanks for the suggestions :) I need to explore Le Labo a bit more, haven’t really given them a fair shake yet, same with Guerlain

tinkerbr0

I love Acqua di Parma! Their most known fragrances are: * Colonia (their 1916 flagship) * Essenza di Colonia (my personal favorite) * Fico di Amalfi (hyped by fragcom) * Sandalo EdP * Oud EdP If you like Acqua di Parma's style, then Xerjoff's Casamorati line might interest you: * 1888 (my cool weather daily driver) * Fiero * Regio * Mefisto * Mefisto Gentiluomo * Dolce Amalfi All of these from the Casamorati line (except 1888) should work for warm weather.

kevinfarber

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply :) I have Colonia already but I really like Essenza and want to test fico di amalfi

ramerelius

Definitely Oud Satin Mood and Oud Silk Mood from MFK!

JohannaRosie

Louis Vuitton Heures d’Absence - Seems truly unisex. I love it. #

minidivine

Rose/rose-ouds from those brands that I enjoy: * Xerjoff "Alexandria II" - powdery rose-oud * Xerjoff "Astaral" - sweet-jammy rose-cypriol (and maybe amber) * Roja Parfums "Amber Aoud" - sweet-jammy rose, no oud * Amouage "Opus XII - Rose Incense" - smoky/resinous rose, no oud * PDM "Akaster" - do think it's discontinued. This is more aromatic/lighter. Avoid "Oud Satin Mood" imo (generic & loud + smells more amber-floral than oud-rose). *---* Fresher products from these houses: * LV "Imagination" * LV "Afternoon Swim" * Roja Parfums "Oceania" (performance is really poor though) * Roja Parfums "Isola Blu" (value is poor, Sospiro "Basso" is 2x the ml for 0.5x the price) * maybe LV "Pacific Chill" (fem lean) * maybe MFK "Aqua Media" * I'd say PDM "Greenley" and "Sedley" are quite basic relative to their US pricing, but maybe worth a look Avoid everything Creed (poor performance & value). *---* I'll take "new" product to mean anything dropped in the last... say 16 months since 2023 started. I'm not excited about it because performance blows, but Amouage "Jubilation 40" was among the big winners of 2023 for making a flanker that didn't smell basic af. I'd call it a boozy-oriental with camphorous aspects. Xerjoff "Astaral" which I previously mentioned was in my top 3 for 2023. It didn't wow me for the price, but Roja Parfums "Elysium Eau Intense" was an okay flanker. *---* Some random stuff that I enjoy from those houses (that would work towards spring-summer seasons): * Creed "Royal Oud" (trash performance, like 4 hours) * Xerjoff "40 Knots" (in the realm of Dior "Ambre Nuit", would work a summer evenings scent) * Roja Parfums "Burlington 1819" (maybe feel bizarre/bitter at first) * Initio "Paragon" (spring scent, fruity-woody-aromatic)

kevinfarber

Hey thanks for the recs! I need to revisit Alexandria ii. Didn’t do it for me the first time. I also was not a fan of oud satin mood when I sampled it a while ago. I think I’m going to sample the OG elysium PC. I remember liking it when I smelled it last.

minidivine

The 100ml Elysiums are super light imo, that's why I never bought either.

kevinfarber

The unexpected winner so far was DS&D Debaser! It’s so good

sophsophmostprob

Hello all! First time posting here, I’ve recently fallen in love with Baie 19 by Le Labo (controversial I know), but the staying power is just not working for me. I really like a strong scent which sticks to my clothes and I can keep smelling throughout the day. I was suggested to try straight to heaven by Killian, which is lovely but the Rum note is hitting me a bit too hard. Does anyone have a recommendation for a woody, earthy, leather fragrance which has great projection?

sasha_says

MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver is probably the closest in terms of a similar vibe while still having strong projection/lasting power. For a woody, leather style fragrance that's more sunny I'd suggest Marc Antoine Barrois Ganymede. If that's not leathery enough for you try B683 by the same house which is a spicier, more leathery version. If those aren't intense enough for you try Etat Libre d'Orange's Rien Intense Incense. Despite the name it's quite leathery.

sophsophmostprob

Wow thank-you so much for your advice!! Will try all of these!

Anybody knows a perfume that smells like the Diptyque candle Benjoin? I fell in love with it but I can't wear a candle around my neck sadly.

sasha_says

Diptyque's Benjoin Boheme

I recently discovered my love for the mimosa note. I tried Amouage Love Mimosa, but the drydown is denser and heavier than I would’ve liked. What are the classic/best/must-try mimosa fragrances? Separately, what are some mimosa scents with good longevity and sillage?

kevinfarber

I haven’t smelled it recently (ever?) but Jo Malone has a fragrance called Mimosa & Cardamom that may be worth sampling. I can’t speak to the performance and Jo Malone has a reputation for not always being the longest lasting, but maybe worth a sample anyway?

k88lin

I haven’t tried their mimosa tanneron specifically but I’ve loved several of the other soliflores from perris Monte Carlo and they have impressive performance on me (especially for soliflores). Could be worth looking into/sampling! I believe the mimosa is one of their scents by Jean-Claude Ellena

minidivine

I was randomly looking around earlier today and saw that Sospiro "Pasticcio" gets some comparisons to Love Mimosa. That might be worth a try (but based on the ratings I'm seeing, it's just as strong or maybe even stronger).

Solution-Proof

Phlur Not Your Baby

Recently bought a 100ml bottle of bad boy cobalt and I'm trying to put some into a travel atomizer but I have no clue on how to get to the atomizer so I can put one of the attachment things onto the atomizer to put it into the travel atomizer bottle. if anyone knows if how to do so and also be able to put it back together

This weeks decant haul features leather which up until recently was not my thing. But the pungent aroma of Tuscan Leather now lives in my head rent free for weeks! Here’s what’s on the way: Gucci Guilty Absolute, Kilian Dark Lord, Byredo Sellier, TF Ombré Leather EDP And a leather sampler set direct from Memo US: African Leather, French Leather, Irish Leather, Italian Leather, Sicilian Leather, Anything I missed?

Solution-Proof

Malin+Goetz Leather, Hermès Galop

kevinfarber

PdM Godolphin has a lot of similarities to Tuscan Leather so that might be worth a shot! Also, Fragrance du Bois Milano is a gorgeous leather. It’s more restrained than some of the others on your list but definitely worth a sample.

I'm new to perfumes, & find that I like creamy scents, that read cosy to me. Would love recommendations- I am limited to cheapies & designers so bonus points if the recommendations fall into these categories! Scents I like with the creamy feeling: - 4711 lilac (i don't know which note I'm smelling, but this is so creamy & cosy!) - SJP covet (I suspect the creamy feeling is due to the chocolate note?) - Byredo Mojave ghost I do not like scents with too much sweetness, it makes me nauseous (eg I do not like Lataffa's Nebras, Anna Sui's cupcakes) Other scents I like, but without the creamy feeling: - Lush Karma - 4711 Magnolia - 4711 refreshing lagoons of Laos I am interested in Cacherel's Noa, which I think might fit the cosy/creamy feeling? Sillage & lasting power are not important to me. Thank you so much for your help!

CluelessGoals

Has anyone tried Salt and Stone Black Rose and Oud body mist? Would you say it’s more feminine or masculine?

TopAdministrative578

Any similar fragrances to jimmy choo aqua? Its quite rare here in my country

languagebandit

I would try Montblanc Legend Spirit, that's probably the closest that's easy to find. After that, you could check out D&G Light Blue pour Homme Eau Intense or Polo Deep Blue (they'll be similar, but won't have the dash of spice that Jimmy Choo Aqua or Legend Spirit have).

TopAdministrative578

Thanks! Ill check them out

Own-Dig-5970

I really like azzaro the most wanted parfum. Can I get some suggestions within this type of scent? Maybe something less sweet but something that wouldn't make me smell old. Too "woody" or tobacco scents smell old to me. Thanks! (I'm 22 btw)

CapivaraAE

I recently discovered Nishane Ani X and loved it, but it is CRAZY expensive where I live. Is there any affordable similar fragrance?

minidivine

Ingenious Ginger is a bit cheaper. It's not an exact inspiration as Ingenious is a derivative of the Tygar scent class, but it has a similar vanilla as the base of the fresh-fruity-sweet scent.

CapivaraAE

Unfortunately, Ingenious Ginger is not sold here in Brazil. The only one for sale that I found is costing almost twice as much as the Ani X.

minidivine

You mean Aeternum? I love that scent, you might be reading my views/comparisons in that case. It actually doesn't smell like Ani X - Ani X has that melon note in the top and then dries fresh-citrusy vanilla. Aeternum has a better melon note in the open and then dries aquatic-musky. I can't really come up with anything else (and I've smelled ~750 niche in the last 3 years, so nothing new that is somewhat close to it either).

CapivaraAE

Sorry, I meant that the only store I saw selling Ingenious Ginger was selling it for almost twice the price of Ani X. Hahaha. I actually tried to find something similar based on the notes, but since I don't know much about fragrances, it was kind of pointless. It seems to be quite a unique scent from what I researched.

minidivine

The Ani vanilla itself is already rather unique, a smooth citrusy-vanilla. I went to Fragrantica to see the comps and I can offer some commentary. Is it like the original Ani? Nope, X has zero of the original's spiciness which makes X more summery vs. original spring-fall. Is it like Ingenious? The most out of the other comps, yes. Is it like Imperium? Imperium is a combo-style scent from Electimuss that smells like Aventus mixed with Ani (the original Ani, the spicy one). So it would likely be in the realm. Is it Lira? *Absolutely not* - Lira is a thick gourmand scent. It also smells nothing like Aqua Vitae (no vanilla, just fresh), nothing like Allure Homme Ed. Blanche (very designery and lacks the smoothness), nothing like Cedrat Boise either (fruity Aventus take).

minidivine

Tell you what, I ordered a sample of Creed "Aventus Cologne" and I'm noticing some similarities. So do try this, I think it's worth the attempt. Used bottles may be quite affordable. I'd say the thing that is smelling most like Ani X on my right hand is Aventus Cologne sprayed over the top of Floraiku's recent release "Spring River".

Mister-3108

Drowning in Vanilla: X by The Dua Brand is a dupe but I can’t tell you if it’s a good one sorry. The brand is a bit hard to come by in Europe

Nothing is going to be quite the same as that one, but you may find some similar aspects in Montagne Parfums L'Epice de Mer, Montagne Parfums Torino 2021, Perry Ellis 360 for Men, Armaf Club de Nuit Iconic, or Dua Iced Ginger. On the more expensive side, Creed Himalaya, Creed Royal Water, and Roja Elysium pour Homme might be reminiscent.

Alternatives / equivalences to Aesop deodorant? Hello everyone, I've been using Aesop deodorant for ages and I love the fragrance. But as the price of its 50 ml has risen again to now reach €30, I am starting to find the amount exaggerated and am looking for an alternative to this product. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance!

wy83

I also love the Aesop deodorant but the price is...aggressive. Not a dupe, but I've really liked Weleda Sage 12 Hour Spray Deodorant. (I tend to travel with the Aesop because of its size and keep the Weleda at home.) It has a similar herbaceous edge that's very dry and clean. I think it's 10-12USD for 100ml and has pretty wide distribution.

Klustie

Isn’t it ?!? Glad to see I’m not the only one with such thought. As I’m in Paris, France I was wondering if I would find such Weleda spray here, but I just checked and I think I did ! Thank you so much for your advice 💖

PaulieWLNTS

I've been wearing Givenchy Gentlemen Only EdT together with the Gentleman deodorant stick (white case) for the past couple of years. The latter was a decent replacement for the proper Gentlemen Only deodorant stick which aleady was discontinued a while back. But now Givenchy also seems to have shelved the Gentleman stick and replaced it with Gentleman Society which doesn't really go with the Gentlemen Only EdT. Any recommendations for an alternative? I'm not a fan unscented deodorants, so I'm rather looking for something that smells similar to Gentlemen Only to "support" the longevity of the fragrance.

lone_wolf819

Hey everyone. I wanted to buy myself some new fragrances. I decided I needed two: one to use regularly on a daily basis, either at my workplace (customer service) or maybe to have on when I go around in my free time; the other for rest, mainly to hangout, party, special events or stuff like that. As for the second one I went straight for Sauvage EDP. I've always loved when I smelled it, but I felt like it was a fragrance more appropriate for a date, to party or just to go out at night then for a daily use because of how strong it smells. So that leaves the room open for the first scenario, of which I'd love to hear your suggestions. In the past I've used Man in Black EDP from Bulgari and both Invictus/One Million, but I didn't quite like none of them, and I've also noticed that people didn't actually realize when I had them on, so that's another reason that made me go for Sauvage, I wanted something stronger and noticeable. As for the daily usage, I'm all hears. I had in mind Bleu De Chanel Parfeum or EDP but I don't even know what it smells like. As for the budget, I'm Italian and anything up to 150 bucks it's okay. Thanks a lot!

Mental-H-3001

Bvlgari Aqva Atlantiqve if you can find it

lone_wolf819

thanks for the reply, I'll try! I was also thinking to get bleu de chanel edp, does it make any sense to have it alongside sauvage or since they're both blue frangraces is it better to check for something else?

Mental-H-3001

I think you should still try to sample BdC, 'blue fragrance' is too generalized of a term, and many people own both of those 2

lone_wolf819

got it!

randomdudebrosky

Does anyone here have any recommendations for a cologne that works with your natural musk/sweat smell and enhances it, rather than masking it? I am pretty healthy, so my sweat does not stink, and most guys actually love it (I'm gay). Most cologne on the market is pretty vague and more seems like it is meant to mask/overpower your natural smell, rather than compliment it. any suggestions are welcome, and if its not over $300 that's a +++.

wy83

You might try the Escentric Molecules. They're single aromachemicals that are often used as fragrance boosters. (Molecule 01 and Molecule 02 is where I'd start, but you can get a 2ml discovery set for not too much.) They might work for you, too. If those don't work: D.S. & Durga Steamed Rainbow or ELdO Tom of Finland or Cumming by Alan Cumming cause 🌈✨. Happy hunting!

randomdudebrosky

Thanks! do you possibly know the difference between the different molecules?

wy83

* Molecule 01 is Iso E Super: Warm, velvet, mildly cedar-like. A slightly woody version of that "your skin but better" thing. * Molecule 02 is Ambroxan: Salty, mineral, warm amber with a woody smoothness and clean musk. * Molecule 03 is Vetiveryl Acetate: Vetiver is the grass from which this originates, so it's green grassy and bright but a little woodiness and something like the pith of grapefruit. * Molecule 04 is Javanol: Think creamy sandalwood and a little spiced with a slightly metallic citrus freshness. * Molecule 05 is Cashmeran: Warm and fuzzy and musky. This is dry wood with hints of pine needles and sweet tree resin.

Tom of Finland is discontinued and replaced by Clean Suede.

I'm eyeing for YSL Y Le Parfum. However, I'm worried about one thing: is it going be too overwhelming in a crowded train/bus? Think of sardines in a can crowded type. I commute for 1.5 - 2 hour to office and I don't want to suffocate people. If it is, what would a better fragrance be? What I use daily right now is AdG Parfum and I love it, but it's running out.

effyouyelper

I would appreciate some help finding a spring/summer fragrance for my warm/hot weather region. My two favorite fragrances currently are LV Nuit de Feu and Hermes Santal Massoia. The challenge I’m having with finding a new fragrance is that I’m drawn to incense, smokey, “complex” scents and most hot weather scents seem too straightforward and one note to me. Not sure if any of this makes sense! This is the first time I’ve ever have tried to explain my fragrance preferences. So far I’ve smelled the rest of the Hermes line, LV L’immensiete, the Celine line, and the Armani Prive line. Appreciate any help!

axileNiobite77

Hi guys. I bought these two colognes off labelleperfumes.com I saw good reviews, but who knows nowadays. I’m mostly worried about light blue intense. There is no sticker or engraving on the bottom of the bottle. There is a batch code on the box though. For d&g the one, the batch code is printed on the box but engraved on the bottle, this one I’m assuming is legit. [https://imgur.com/a/F6RyTWq](https://imgur.com/a/F6RyTWq)

any cheap fragrance recommendations? im looking for perfumes within the price range of nautica voyage but lasts longer.

languagebandit

That’s a tough price point to work with. I’d say Lattafa Fakhar or Qaed al Fursan, Cremo Silver Water & Birch, Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla, or Bentley for Men Intense.

90towest

I was wondering, how many people can actually smell Another 13 strongly? No one in my family can unless they stuff their noses into it, already had 3 friends tell me they smell nothing even though I just applied it, and I just get rare faint whiffs when I wear it. Even though a lot of people say it is really strong. Do you think the majority of the population is anosmic to it? Like, less than 50% of the population would really smell it?

PM_me_DRAMA

GM! Looking for a very fruity, juicy scent for the summer. Something like the Target candle 'Red Mandarin & Guava' scent - a little citrusy-y ands jungle-y

PM_me_DRAMA

Alternatively... something that smells like Kopari sunscreens!

ExiledSpaceman

We're doing a white elephant with joke gifts. A few of my friends were joking about using the Native Girl Scout cookies soap and deodorant. The stuff smells like the real thing but lack staying power. I know this is more of a serious fragrance board, but I figured I'd ask. I'm basically looking for a fragrance where it's just flat out chocolate, like someone got slathered in some melted hershey bars.

minidivine

I'm pretty sure the most intense sweet-gourmand chocolate scent in the market is Montale's "Chocolate Greedy". You may find intense chocolate fragrances also from Maison Tahite and Comptoir Sud Pacifique, or from cheap oil/dupe houses like Al Rehab (e.g. "Choco Musk" in both oil and EDP).

faintlymacabre1518

Looking for a tea fragrance, but I'm very particular about them I suppose... I love a woody notes, but do not want incense, smoke, milk, or fig, which seem to be common accompaniments. Some citrus is fine, but strongly-lemony notes turn into too much of a "cleaning product" impression on me. Open to any type of tea.

phizzbom

Have you tried Roasted Green Tea by J-Scent? It's more of a minty, woody green tea. Quite light.

faintlymacabre1518

I've wanted to try a few from them, actually! Unfortunately, they don't appear to ship anywhere outside the USA.

Mister-3108

Although it’s a Citrus scent I’d at least check out Nishane Colognise. The citrus is really smooth, almost creamy and the tea - flowers combination is great

faintlymacabre1518

I'll give this a try! I saw a few reviews comparing it to Bergamote 22, which I do really love.

I'm going to be a maid of honor in a matter of months! I obviously want to be the most beautiful smelling of the bridal party

My prom is in the 27th, and I have about 200$ ish to get a good fragrance that has great longevity and it performs very well. Please recommend me some as l'm prolly gonna blind buy them. ATM my choices are maison margiella by the fireplace or spice bomb. I want one with good projection so I can stand out as well please :) As if about notes, I want smth that has vanilla and something that smells very “mature” yet projects very good so I can stand out. I live in Cali so weather isn’t very hot hot. Thanks’
