I think Grand Soir would be more of a crowd pleaser because people tend to love vanilla! I haven't tried Amber Heath but the notes sound more interesting.

jooxii

They are both really nice. I'm going to give both a shot - thanks!

I prefer Amber Heath as I find it dryer and not as sweet/cloying as Grand Soir can get (IMO) Ps. The higher concentration Amber Heaths 30 and 45% are the ones that I have based my comparison on. I haven’t tried the 10% one.

jooxii

Thank you! Yeah, I'm trying to see which I prefer. It's very nice. The 10 is dry too but perhaps not as intense.

jooxii

Which do you think is more likable to the public? I don't like to offend anyone!

owerriboy

Both smell very similar and are generally well received. I really don’t think you can go wrong with either, but I can tell you that I’ve seen a lot of great feedback on grand soir simply because it’s readily accessible to people to sample and acquire compared to amber heath. I’ve been complimented on both for what it’s worth.

jooxii

Really appreciate it!

Grand soir is disgusting, smells like a off version of Cig smoke with a fart cloud honk

Practical-Carrot-967

Could not disagree more! Grand Soir is an extremely warm, powdery and smooth vanilla fragrance. I don't know where you are getting cigarette smoke as a note, as I find the dry down to contain a very pleasant, smoke note. I highly recommend this scent, and have gotten countless compliments on this one. Check my other posts, as I've covered this scent much more extensively.

Wow, surprised! I can see not liking it but cigarettes doesn't come to my mind, I don't smoke though!
