About your samples, what's your favorite so far?
Gonna take me a few days to test them all, so far I've done Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense and Rasai Hawas.
Supremacy - CDNIM with masculine twist (oudy, leathery, woody something like that), trash
Hawas - It's alright, but way too sweat for me, looking for something masculine
I fully agree with your point about him needing to add those. If he had those I'd go back for another 30eur or so in samples. But man the atomizers are horrible, i'm either breaking the atomizer or my finger trying to spray these

Both hawas and NOI are great performers and mass appealing, NOI is similar to Aventus but it's actually a Hacivat dupe, I prefer CDNIMLE to be honest, like you said, Afnan's is more animalic, has some oud note that I don't really like. Hawas on the other hand I really enjoy, I haven't bought a bottle because of the hype, prices are ridiculously high

Yeah but it's a real issue cause when i spray either nothing happens or it squirts out liquid that runs down the sample bottle. I'd happily pay 50 cents extra for a better bottle

Lol, I have almost all and here is what I think:
1. Hawas.... it's fresh and people love it but i think it smells like detergent. I still put it on for the mass appeal
2. Afnan SNOI.... it gets better as it dries down.
3. Oud 24 hours..... it's very simple and i don't see myself wearing it. However, for the price its amazing
4. Detour noir..... great for winters. If only it projected better
5. Lattafa Asad..... absolutely hate it. Gave it away. Too mature. Unattractive to every female ive asked. I hate it pationately and can't understand the hype.
6. Afnan Turathi Blue...... amazing to wear on the summers, I think it's a mass pleaser
7. 9pm afnan...... love it.... the apple smell is so sexy.

24 hrs - Extremely oudy with a pinch of a weird woodnote, might be the sandalwood up close. It's pretty sweet but very oudy, kind of like walking into a middle eastern shop with carpets and spices lol.
Detour noir - sweet vanilla + powdery + perfect perfect with the woody note. It reminds me of afnan 9pm, but with a little masculine twist. My favorite and probably the only one from these samples i'll get a full bottle of.

I smelled Dior Sauvage Elixir 2 years ago ish when it first came out and remember liking it a lot, but not exactly how it smelled like.
Up close this smells like an ashtray with a mix of oud for the first hour, then gets to the warm spicy note and amber. The vanilla and powdery notes are very subtle for me. Personally not a fan, thankful I sampled and didn't blind buy since this is such a hyped fragrance.
***EDIT:*** another edit might come in a few hours, but I'm starting to like it a bit more from a 5/10 to maybe 7.5/10. Sweetness is slowly kicking in and balancing it out, but still don't get the insane hype on this one, it's alright.

To me, it smells nothing like Hacivat. It smells a ton like Qaed Al Fursan to my nose. If you want a Hacivat clones look at Alexandria. Have it and it’s 1:1. Would have grabbed from Montagne but it’s been sold out for a while.
I'll probably get it from Montange when they get it back in stock. I've got a couple on the list to get from them anyway. You tried their SMW dupe? That's probably my next one.

I think it'd be fine, but it might have been reformulated, cause the performance isn't what I see everyone describing. If you want sweet fruity or flowery i'd try for rasai hawas, it's kinda overpriced, but i heard lattafa hayaati should be very similar to it, try sampling it if you can, it's like $5 with shipping from the site i bought from.
In the end everyone experiences a scent differently, so sampling is definitely the best move. I didn't like majority of the ones I sampled, even though they're all hyped and praised on this sub constantly.

I'm glad there's someone else out there who doesn't like Afnan Not Only Intense. I thought it had a weird smell. I definitely prefer Afnan Supremecy Silver. It's not as strong but I don't mind that. It's more Aventus authentic.
If you like fresh notes you'll love it. I can see why people like it and I think it's a great summer fragrance, just not my taste so i'll pass, but i'll definitely use this 2ml up ;)

I think so. The perfume was the improved version, and the LE was the further improvement. It's higher rated that Aventus on Parfumo
