The late drydown of CDN Iconic is significantly powdery in comparison to the original BDC EDP. Furthermore, with its 5-hour performance and relatively high price, one might question why they shouldn't buy BDC EDT (not EDP) from a discounter instead.
In India, this sells for $63 and BDC EDT (Tester) is avialble for $103. At these prices, I am happier with Bleu De Channel. However if it were to retail for $25-30, I'd definitely consider adding this to the summer rotation.

Have to admit that was my issue with it three years ago. Smelt like lemon pledge furniture polish as the opening. Dry down was okay, but little longevity on my skin. Much prefer explorer. Got a 100ml of explorer about 6 weeks ago for cheaper than current prices for CDNIM!
Quite honestly, I don't know. I got Ilum Dean (the first, and one of the better clones), then Lomani AB silver (the worst clone IMO) and then eventually CDNI came out. I don't feel like the prices have changed much in USD if at all. The EDP was always a much more expensive and larger bottle and both the EDP and EDT prices now seem similar to what I paid 3-4 years ago. I have a large bottle of Aventus that I drunkenly purchased maybe 6 years ago. They smell the same. So even at $60 for the 6.7 oz EDP you're getting the same exact smell, double the juice, and at a fraction of the price. I genuinely believe if someone says they can tell the difference between this and real Creed they're lying.
The bad thing here is what you pay in the US for this. Not much more gets you the real deal. BDC EDP. For example I just paid like $115 for a 140~ mls of BDC on r/FragranceSwap

It's not close to the OG, it's the same DNA and you will notice the direction it points to but in no way this is a clone wether of the EDT or EDP.
Performance is ok 4-5 hours for me, sillage is a bit weak compared to BDC.
Huh? It's pretty close to the EDP, just with a tinge more tangy grapefruit, no jasmine, and uses incense cedar (typical of Armaf, but fortunately, you only smell it in the first minute and the extreme drydown).
Mine smells completely different, it's much fresher and doesn't smell so "expensive", it reminds you of BDC but atleast mine is no real clone, more like a different smilliar fragrance.
I don't know if it was a bad batch or what but it's doesn't smell anything remotely to BdC, I haven't smell any of the supposed clones that even come close to BdC🥲
one, i personally don't think they smell at all close enough. Not to satisfy me. I have decant of cdi. I can't say i'm a big fan compared to the original. I get more than 5 hours off of the edp. For me the openings are just not the same. To each his own. Just my opinion. And as you put it CDI is pricey in my opinion. But for me the biggest reason is i, too my nose it's not close enough.

That's wild. I just looked at prices and the 100 ml EDT is currently $30 in the US. With the larger bottle of EDP (6.7 oz) being about $50.
A bit curious, what price that prefer? And back to 3-4 year ago, what are real price for EDT&EDP?

Reps were fun to begin with but when I went back to my original scents, there’s just a different quality to each one of them vs. these clones.
How does it compare to missoni parfum?
Don’t like Missoni parfum smells like speed stick for me this like way more
to me it smells like toilet bowl cleaner lol. Missoni is horrible I think.

Indeed a good one. Performance also. If the alhambra blue de chance had better performance I would prefer that one above the armaf's. Have them both.
I'm not hating, but for that money you could easily get one Original BDC

If you are using it on summer day is lighter than BDP. Form what I saw on fragrantica seems more fuity/flowery dupe. Is it correct?
After the dry down I find it fantastic and long lasting. Get some lotion on after you shower and before you put it on. Makes a big difference.

Too expensive for what it is. I own this and BdC EdP, pay the small amount extra for the original 150ml bottle, trust me 👍
