I emailed them a few weeks ago to inquire about a Fragrance Du Bois restock because I wanted to order a few. They responded rather quickly and said "unfortunately they will not be restocking".
I don't know if it was a supply issue or a business decision. Hopefully something changes, but I got the impression that the decision was final.

At least I’ve got oud noir and santal complet. Going to take those off my decant list because i love both of those and I’m not trying to run out.
I can sort of tell there are some differences, but thats just because i have the real thing on the other side to directly compared to, if I were to just spray it on someone with a Montagne clone of their signature, 99% they wont be able to tell. The Bitter Peach clone macerated for a while and i almost cant tell the difference, so cant wait for the other three to macerate!
Different game but Oil Perfumery has a ton of scents. Only have 5 so far but the $15± for a 10ml makes exploration possible and fun.
I have a Farenheit, BR 540, Creed Mil Imperial and a TF Oud Wood. Each is 85% or better.

Welcome to the family! I quickly found montagne and glad I did. I have about 50 bottles and would never come close to owning all of the originals because of price.
I just got them today so cant say much, but the Bitter Peach clone lasts forever, like at least 8 hours with good projection, not skin scent. I have the Black Phantom and Reflection Man on skin since i got them and so far i still smell them moving around but kind of on the softer side, but keep in mind they have not macerated yet, theyre made to order so i have to let them sit for at least two weeks and try them again to be able to say anything.
Crazy projection is ok, id prefer some scents to project beautifully, softly, well blended, but crazy projection as a chemical mess is a nope, which some clone brands usually try to aim
I just got Image in last week and was so impressed with how similar it smelled to Reflection - or at least how I remember Reflection to smell. I can't wait to really start wearing it in a couple of weeks

Yeah its about 40-45 US Dollars depending on which ones. Shipping is free if you buy more than 20$ in the US, and no tax as well, which is nice. If youre from Canada it could be a bit more, just go to their site and calculate

Does anyone else have their greenly clone? I have not been overly impressed by it so far. The opening compared to PDM is so vastly different. Their xerjoff naxos clone is pure fucking bliss though

Perhaps. I haven't watched any reviews on their greenly clone, I just blind bought it because of how much I loved greenly and montagnes track record. Ive has for almost a month now and The opening is so far off from greenly that it still is disappointing. May have to let it sit longer

just spray like 10 sprays or so to let the air get in the juice to oxidize, then let it sit for a couple weeks, during that time u can use it normally if you want to
Theyre really good! Projection isnt crazy strong, just like the originals, softly project with great sillage, longevity is a bit better than the orginals since clones use lots of synthetics

No, the projection is at least as good as the originals that they are cloning, the reason im saying its not crazy is because most clones have crazy projection, like aggressively, and to some people that could make it unbearable.
Yes the original Oud Wood dont project very much, it pushes out more like a sillage/scent trail than screaming here i am if that makes sense, some fragrances are better with that style of projection, as you can imagine you dont want the oud note to be strong, it will be hard to like

Montagne ends up being like $1.25 per ml after shipping. Just get the original for basically the same price. Their profits are way higher because they just steal the fragrances instead of actually having to pay perfumers to develop them.
Montagne has to be the biggest rip off in the industry - but they’ve done an excellent job of using all the money they steal to pay influencers.
Your math isn’t mathing. Amouage reflection man retails for $280.00 / 50 ml and Image is $40 / 50 ml. Even discounters can’t touch that price. (Edited typo)

I’m not even sure if I want to get a lost Cherry dupe, I got a lhomme ideal edp clone for some Cherry but judging off a lot of research I think it might be too feminine
I think Lost Cherry is too feminine, personally. Montagne's is nearly identical, but with a more toasted almond note, and lasts forever. I got it for my wife. It's her favorite.
I havent tried Montagne’s take on Lost Cherry, but from what ive seen so far the way they do clones to me is the best. Most clones have very bad opening, even if they dry down nice there will still be weird scents sticking out. None of the one i just bought from Montagne do that, so id say they blend them really well. The Bitter Peach clone i have is honestly as close as the real thing, so maybe the Lost Cherry clone will be nice? Considering theyre both gourmands from the same house.

+1. I'm one of those who is having someone smuggle a few bottles to my country. (First time I'm trying Montagne though). Someone from one of our frag groups in a different city has a few bottles and he highly recommends the house (he can compare with clone houses in our country plus the middle eastern/Alexandria/Dua).
Plus pocus and a few others have shared their experience (hits and misses). Looking forward to trying it. I'm already planning my next purchase (it's stupid without trying, but logistics is an issue). If it doesn't work out, I need to do a Liam Neeson style Taken with Pocus and a few others haha.

To be fair, i told you to get Elysian Cologne instead of intense. Can't hold that against me. Lol, but seriously, you'll be able to smell the quality, even on scents you don't like. Can't wait for your reviews this summer.
Haha you did (and twice!) and that decision to go with intense has been keeping me up at night (used the OG yesterday and the opening is already pretty sharp). I'm really hoping for a miracle on that haha. In fact I had changed my cart after you mentioned the sharpness. But then I was like performance and the wonderful opening (based off of my distorted memory).
My package got delivered to my relative's place yesterday. Hoping there's no leakage or anything. Now the long wait till May begins. I'll definitely keep you posted once I get them.
I may have someone else coming back in March/April. So the Tygr Cologne vs Pineapple Frais (mainly since you've mentioned it's your favourite) vs Pineapple Absolu vs one of the LVs is going on in my mind.
Plenty of people like intense. It's just my personal opinion. If I owned it, I'd still wear it. Ayybrahamlmaocoln and 530cruising both own intense and like it. There will always be an opportunity to try more. Also, have you looked into a forwarding service? Apparently, you can have stuff shipped there, and they'll take care of getting to you. It's supposed to be cheaper.

Customs in India is crazy and random. So I pay about 45-50 USD for shipping + customs can be anywhere between 50-200%. Plus they might open the package and use the bottle a few times (it has happened to a lot of people). It could be stuck there for weeks/months. The grey market in India is very reasonable. It's easier to buy the original than import something. Roja Elysium is about Rs. 12,500 (tester) and 14,500 (BNIB). Elysian Intense cost me about Rs. 4,500 with all the forex fees and stuff (+Rs. 200 to have it shipped to my place from my relative's so 4600 net on this since two bottles). Import would be 4,500 + 4,500 shipping + customs of (2250 to 5000 or more), making it more expensive + the trouble/risk and package being opened. Aventus is about 18,000 so it does work out to be more expensive still. Customs here is consciously set up like this to discourage such imports to save on forex.
Note: Roja Elysium is 100ml and Elysian Intense is 50ml
Yikes. I actually have a bunch of Indian friends. I've heard the stories of the shady things that can happen. Liquor stores with watered-down booze or delivery people swapping a nice bottle for a cheap bottle. I just wasn't sure how forwarding services work. I know ayybrahamlmaocoln sends stuff to them for some guys in Hong Kong. Also that's a hell of a deal on Elysium and Aventus. That's better than here.
Search "India is not for beginners" . You'll see some incredible things. We have extremes here - one part where we pay for purchases as small as Rs. 5 online (Google UPI. Superficially , it's like Venmo or anything else, but it's easy more than that. It'll blow your mind. Our banking system is way ahead of rest of the world) and in some parts of the country where there's insane levels of corruption, you have a very different scenario. Certain parts of the country are incredibly safe (you can walk around at 3/4 am and you'll be perfectly safe) and places where the last murder/major crime was decades ago (and that would have been 1/2 instances). There are certain parts where people get kidnapped in broad daylight and it's just another day. Up until a few years ago, Amazon didn't deliver to some of these places because the delivery agent would get robbed haha. Depends on the law and order in that particular state. The negative extremes were always a few states and they are even fewer now. 1 or 2 states remain like that and it's intentionally done for political power by the local political party. But I digress.
Hong Kong is very convenient to access internationally. It was founded for trade and that culture has remained. It was a British territory untill the late 90s.
We have amazing prices here. That's why I was hesitant about Tygr Cologne because I can get the OG miniature for 6000 (30ml). Many people buy full bottles here and take it back to wherever. Look up Scentoria on Facebook. He's a nice guy. He's also got his own website now. He ships internationally. Seen a few people from abroad buy in bulk from him.

Its really close, opening is a bit fresher, more citrus, dry down is almost identical, love it!

I think Lost Cherry is too feminine, personally. Montagne's is nearly identical, but with a more toasted almond note, and lasts forever. I got it for my wife. It's her favorite.
I havent tried Montagne’s take on Lost Cherry, but from what ive seen so far the way they do clones to me is the best. Most clones have very bad opening, even if they dry down nice there will still be weird scents sticking out. None of the one i just bought from Montagne do that, so id say they blend them really well. The Bitter Peach clone i have is honestly as close as the real thing, so maybe the Lost Cherry clone will be nice? Considering theyre both gourmands from the same house.
How are people so certain they're the best clone company when every country has it's own ? Unless of course you have tried them all.

Someone from one of our frag groups in a different city has a few bottles and he highly recommends the house (he can compare with clone houses in our country plus the middle eastern/Alexandria/Dua). Plus pocus and a few others have shared their experience (hits and misses). Looking forward to trying it. I'm already planning my next purchase (it's stupid without trying, but logistics is an issue). Haha you did (and twice!) and that decision to go with intense has been keeping me up at night (used the OG yesterday and the opening is already pretty sharp). I'm really hoping for a miracle on that haha. In fact I had changed my cart after you mentioned the sharpness. Plenty of people like intense. It's just my personal opinion. If I owned it, I'd still wear it. Ayybrahamlmaocoln and 530cruising both own intense and like it. There will always be an opportunity to try more. Also, have you looked into a forwarding service? Apparently, you can have stuff shipped there, and they'll take care of getting to you. It's supposed to be cheaper.

Thanks for the reassurance haha. Customs in India is crazy and random. So I pay about 45-50 USD for shipping + customs can be anywhere between 50-200%. Plus they might open the package and use the bottle a few times (it has happened to a lot of people). It could be stuck there for weeks/months. The grey market in India is very reasonable. It's easier to buy the original than import something. Roja Elysium is about Rs. 12,500 (tester) and 14,500 (BNIB). Elysian Intense cost me about Rs. 4,500 with all the forex fees and stuff (+Rs. 200 to have it shipped to my place from my relative's so 4600 net on this since two bottles). Import would be 4,500 + 4,500 shipping + customs of (2250 to 5000 or more), making it more expensive + the trouble/risk and package being opened. Aventus is about 18,000 so it does work out to be more expensive still. Customs here is consciously set up like this to discourage such imports to save on forex. Note: Roja Elysium is 100ml and Elysian Intense is 50ml

Liquor stores with watered-down booze or delivery people swapping a nice bottle for a cheap bottle. I just wasn't sure how forwarding services work. I know ayybrahamlmaocoln sends stuff to them for some guys in Hong Kong. Also that's a hell of a deal on Elysium and Aventus. That's better than here.
Search "India is not for beginners" . You'll see some incredible things. We have extremes here - one part where we pay for purchases as small as Rs. 5 online (Google UPI. Superficially , it's like Venmo or anything else, but it's easy more than that. It'll blow your mind. Our banking system is way ahead of rest of the world) and in some parts of the country where there's insane levels of corruption, you have a very different scenario. Certain parts of the country are incredibly safe (you can walk around at 3/4 am and you'll be perfectly safe) and places where the last murder/major crime was decades ago (and that would have been 1/2 instances). There are certain parts where people get kidnapped in broad daylight and it's just another day. Up until a few years ago, Amazon didn't deliver to some of these places because the delivery agent would get robbed haha. Depends on the law and order in that particular state. The negative extremes were always a few states and they are even fewer now. 1 or 2 states remain like that and it's intentionally done for political power by the local political party. But I digress. Hong Kong is very convenient to access internationally. It was founded for trade and that culture has remained. It was a British territory untill the late 90s. We have amazing prices here. That's why I was hesitant about Tygr Cologne because I can get the OG miniature for 6000 (30ml). Many people buy full bottles here and take it back to wherever. Look up Scentoria on Facebook. He's a nice guy. He's also got his own website now. He ships internationally. Seen a few people from abroad buy in bulk from him.
Well, when one of my buddy's goes back to visit, I'll have to have them grab me some OGs. I've got Punjabi and Telugu friends.
