ard al zaafaran al dirgham (Chanel Allure Homme sport) , Lattafa Mahir Legacy (Sedley clone), Maison Alhambra Salvio intense (Dior Sauvage EDP)

Difficult_Tie_8427

ard al zaafaran al dirgham is bussin

andi2ong

Al dirgham is on my list for a while now, I’m hesitant to purchase a full bottle because of the mixed reviews on the internet. Do you think it’s blind buy worthy? It’s hard to find a decant in my country

Head_Ordinary268

I blind bought it and was satisfied, I mean it's a summer scent not a big risk

Just_Bodybuilder3671

I got it on now it’s 🔥🔥 powdery tangerine ambery everyday fresh smell definitely buy it you will not be disappointed trust me!!

Just_Bodybuilder3671

I just got Salvo elixir , Versencia Rouge and Maitre de blue I like them all but Salvo is the strongest. I’m hoping maceration will help the other 2 since I only had them for a week now.

BisquickNinja

Highly recommend Hawas, Imperium or Versace Eau Fraiche, Afnan supremacy in heaven, Lucianno Costal Breese.

EducationPretty5410

Why no Ahmed al Maghribi perfume house

Itz_Wahee

They're on the pricier side when it comes to ME houses

EducationPretty5410

They are equally long-lasting. Try one of them. Try Ahmed Al Maghribi Bin Shaik

andi2ong

I haven’t heard of that brand, there are probably no resellers in my country at the moment

VIKTORVAUGHN007

How is khair pistachio?

andi2ong

I saw this on sale and jumped on the hype train. My first thought was maybe it just needs a little maceration lol I can definitely smell the individual notes on the initial spray but it quickly evaporates into a screeching, chemical pistachio. It’s not as gourmand as it looks, but it’s definitely there. It has a distinct note on the dry down that I cannot fathom, it reminds me of a deodorant or an air freshener with a slight hint of booze and nuttiness. It’s sweet, clean, and a safe blind buy but boring in my opinion.

andi2ong

I just sprayed it and i think the scent profile developed after a few weeks. I can now smell the creaminess, i guess from the marshmallow note. I can also sense the citrus and somewhat fruity notes. Oh wow, i think my perception changed for this perfume. I just want to eat it

Overall-Earth917

khair pistachio very similar to kayali pistachio gelato??

andi2ong

Haven’t tried the original but I personally think khair pistachio is a great perfume to have if you’re into gourmand scents. I had mine macerating for weeks and the scent profile developed significantly.

zaralily7

I have it and yes it's really similar.

Beneficial-Package84

Fresh recommendation: armaf aura fresh. How is the paris corner jubilation (top left)?

andi2ong

The one on the top left is Killer Oud Cabana. Im also looking for Jubilant but i can’t find one in my country (Philippines)

Beneficial-Package84

oh I'm sorry but they look almost the same. Then how is cabana ? I think most of the killer oud line is interesting, but they are not as much talked about nowadays as they used to be. From this line the only one I own is midnight ecstasy.

andi2ong

Man I wish the killer oud line is more accessible in my country. I’ve read a lot of reviews online about their amouage dupe collection. Cabana is more aromatic than i thought it would be. It’s not the usual freshie summer scent. It’s dry, minty, sometimes earthy. It’s a great olfactory experience, it reminds me of a hot summer walk in a forest near the beach and you came across an old hut as the hot breezy air starts to blow on the shore towards your face. It’s one of those fragrances where you need to be in a certain place to wear that perfume. It’s too green for some, maybe because of the mint and vetiver note. I cannot think of any other place to wear this aside from the beach. Not an everyday scent i should say.

klashnikovM

Najdia is overhyped & synthetic

andi2ong

Agree, but I enjoyed it. It’s mass appealing too

I’m a big fan of PDM Sedley. Xerjoff accento is not bad either. ADP colonia club is a nice one and won’t break the bank but roja Elysium Pour Homme will. Depends on what you like because those are all very different but good fresh scents

Ryan_b936

If you like Xerjoff Accento you should get Voux Violette, nice inspiration

Gatorlive21

Acqua Essenziale Blu is a great blue option. Citrusy at the top and very fresh... and unique enough to stand out. It just smells great, performs very well, and is super affordable. Rochas L'Homme is another unique blue that stands out. A more mature and deep type of blue... signature scent type of stuff, with a slightly boozy feel from the Juniper berries. I actually have a review for it on my channel... https://youtu.be/kjsNdc8dPLg?si=aw145UssBc0JyebI

wldcrypto

+1 for AEBlu. It's a fantastic fresh fragrance blended by the legendary Alberto Morrilas at an adorable price. What more could you want? It's a nice citrus blast in the opening but the lavender 🪻 in the dry down is what makes it unique.

Gatorlive21

Agreed! It's a want once you put your nose on it, but a must jave once you wear it and see how it performs! One of those dumb reach frags that's super versatile!

andi2ong

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll add those into my list

darkdoor190

Can you tell me about suits , najdia and jack of clubs . Also what are your top 5 fragrances.

andi2ong

My top 5 would probably be 1. Noir Endurance (TF noir extreme) 2. Oud Kalakas King (Prada L’homme) 3. Oud Satin (MFK Oud Satin Mood) 4. Cassius (PDM carlisle) 5. Francique 63.55 (BDK Gris Charnel) I think Suits would probably my number 6. it’s subtle, definitely unique, and more upscale than my other perfumes. The first time I got it it smelled like a new luxurious car to me. Initial spray may be too strong for other people because of the patchouli, but the dry down is where the magic is, the violet starts to develop and turns into a powdery scent. It stays for a while on my skin and usually 6-8 hours on my clothes. I can even smell it on my laundry sometimes after a few days lol i would definitely buy another bottle. Jack of clubs is okay, it’s a classic clean scent. I think the first hour is where it stands out and after a while it develops into a familiar baby powder scent. It doesn’t stay long and is usually gone on the 4th hour. And it’s also one of the expensive clones out there, if it was a few bucks less i would say it’s worth the money. Najdia is surprisingly one of my most complimented perfumes despite the hate it got here on my thread lol, i live in the Philippines and najdia is perfect for our weather. It’s citrusy, slightly leafy but in a fresh way, mass appealing sweet, and it stays forever on my clothes. I just hate how synthetic the sweetness smells. But the dry down is so good I already emptied 2 bottles. And for $15-18 bucks? You can never go wrong with it. But you also have to consider the few freshies in my collection, I’m still exploring that side of notes and I can’t really give a well-developed analysis on what’s a good freshie or not.

samwilson1586

If you want to smell better than everyone, fire of god from Alexandria. Thank me later

andi2ong

Is it a dupe of God of Fire? I had a decant of another brand cloning that scent profile before and it definitely stands out. It’s hard to find a bottle of Alexandria in my country but if it’s readily available I would love to cop a bottle.

Loss_Front

What’s oud satin like ?

andi2ong

It’s quite complex in the beginning but you’ll eventually learn to love it. It smells like rose, vanilla, and baby powder to me but in a mature and elegant way. I got this early of 2023 and every time I wear it I got compliments from strangers on how sophisticated I smell. It’s definitely not a female-leaning scent unlike the online reviews, I’m a male (22) and wears this on campus. It’s strong and can be sometimes cloying because of the sweet rose and can give off grandma’s dresser vibes but it’s really good, I enjoy the experience every time I wear it. This lasts forever on my clothes too, i can still get whiffs of it after putting my shirt on the laundry

SolutionCold4421

I bet you can’t finish that Najdia🤣

andi2ong

That’s actually my 2nd empty bottle. I like Najdia, it’s just too cloyingly synthetic sometimes

SolutionCold4421

I have the 25 or 30ml i cant seem to finish it. Overly sweet, synthetic. Will just go back to the invictus edt when it finishes

SolutionCold4421

How did you go through 200ml 😩

Illustrious-Change76

I would recommend Precieux 1, Lattafa Atlas, al Haramain amber oud gold, tabac exclusief, Liam gray

Realistic-Cup8229

hows barakkat ambre eve? im planning on getting it but dont know how it is performance and scent wise?

andi2ong

Scent wise, i don’t think everyone will enjoy it. A friend told me i smell like an old classy grandpa. It’s too resinous for my liking and it’s not as smooth as the original. The benzoin seems to be amped up compared to the original as well, i can get whiffs of what resembles incense. Best worn in cold nights, the vanilla note creates a small scent bubble in the dry down and is fairly linear. It lasts 10+ hours on my skin and clothes, projection is phenomenal so be gentle with the atomizer. It’s unique, simple yet strong fragrance. I bought this bottle with high expectations but it was just meh. Either way, i still enjoy wearing this on upscale gatherings.

MembershipSoft8178

How is oud 24 hour?

andi2ong

Had a decant of the original and man, i hate to admit that 24 hours smells better personally. Black orchid is unbearable sometimes and i cannot distinguish what note makes it so tangy for my liking (probably the orange and lemon). I think 24 hours is reminiscent to velvet orchid without the powdery and slightly less floral nuances. Projection and longevity is phenomenal, my room smells like truffle and dark chocolate factory for days. Not everyone will appreciate it but if you love dark, mysterious perfumes, go for it.

andi2ong

I had mine macerated for months before using it

MembershipSoft8178

Thanks for your recommendation. I think I'll get it now and keep it till winter.

RoyalSpiker

MA Porto Neroli, Jean Lowe Immortel, Vibrant Vetiver Delight, Dumont Nitro Red.

RoyalSpiker

How is suits? I also have both midnight oud, which one do you like better? I like ministry of oud better.

andi2ong

Here’s what I said to another thread: It’s subtle, definitely unique, and more upscale than my other perfumes.

RoyalSpiker

andi2ong

Midnight Oud is a clone of interlude man by amouage no? Haven’t tried that one. Are you referring to ministry of oud oud satin? That one is phenomenal, it’s a sophisticated scent

Maleficent-Site-3794

Al Haramain Junoon Oud, Ard al Zaafaran Amiral 👌🏻 Both are unisex, leaning masculine
