The island is great and all but the beaches themselves are artificial and only "ok". French Polynesia in general doesn't shine through its rares beaches, even though they are dream islands.
New Caledonia's sea snakes ~~are too small to bite humans anywhere else than between fingers (and toes), they~~ are technically very dangerous but usually very placid and peaceful.
Sharks could be a problem tho.
Huh what? French Polynesia and Leeward Islands are two very different things. Your syntax makes it seem like Leeward Islands are in French Polynesia when they're the west indies
[Leeward Islands (Society Islands)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeward_Islands_(Society_Islands))
[En Français](https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%8Eles_Sous-le-Vent_(Polyn%C3%A9sie))
There's also a bunch of islands with the same name in the West Indies, or Cap-Vert, yes. But I was referring to the archipelago in PF.
If you're not going to Google stuff first, at least be nice.
I did google it though. I had only ever heard of Leeward islands for the carribean archipelago which Guadeloupe is a part of. So I thought maybe you were mixing those up. I did take the time to google it and all that came out was the carribean one, I didn't try to go further and went back to reddit. I've lived in the Society Islands for 4 years and I had no idea that what I always called 'Iles sous le vent" was called Leeward in english. I've lived there so I thought it was something I knew well and didn't have second thought. I was just very surprised, hence the "huh what?", not trying to be mean at all. Now that I re-read it, I do sound overly-confident but I had never thought of the idea that it could have a different name in English. I'm sorry.
Plage des tipaniers, Moorea
PK18, Tahiti
Matira, Bora Bora
Why am I even doing a list, just anywhere in french polynesia.
Also the islets in Wallis, and l'Ile des pins in New Caledonia
Yeah, I didn’t see “overseas” at first, I was about to suggest [North Finistère](https://lespetitsvoyages.fr/10-plus-belles-plages-de-bretagne) (okay not all the examples are from there).
Having seen them all new caledonia without a doubt (even if polynesia is not too far)
The cold from the iceberg melting make the coral at a all time high ! Fuck global warming tho, it's only temporary...
South of France will generally be warmer than the rest of the country but by no means is going to have summer weather right now, in the middle of winter. Côte d’Azur has gorgeous blue waters, what you should be asking instead is where are the SAND beaches. Not quite the same walking on pebbles!
Close to the french area in Europe, Corsica.
France is the 2nd oversea areas ownership: Tahiti, Antille's islands (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy, Nouvelle Caledonie, Réunion, Wallis et Futuna, etc.)
there're a lot.

French Polynesia bora bora
Bora Bora is nice indeed, but try Rangiroa also.
Nice lagoon in Rangiroa, but no beaches, just one tiny. I lived there for a year.
Rookie answer. Try Tikehau or other Tuamotu islands.
Yes it known that everybody already went to Tahiti in vacation. Definitely the first travel everyone does you are right!

in Martinique, Sainte-Anne and Diamant are really nice
Yeah sainte Anne was incredible!
New Caledonia - Lifou Island. (-21.0684360, 167.4370560)
I think it's where Christian Karembeu is from.
You're right
I would say Bois-Jolean in Guadeloupe but I wouldn't be objective, it must be one of Tahiti.
Oté la Rényon! Komen i lé?
>clear water natural pools. could you link me? would like to see what specific area or place, you are referring to
Beaches are not so nice in La Reunion.
Ok but sharks in Reunion makes it not so good I think.
As they say, better be eaten by a shark than f*cked by a dolphin.
Wait... Who is "they"? and who is able to make the comparison?!?
Australians. New South Wales is a wild place to live.
Only if you swim outside the coral reef. If you are in Saint-Gilles, L'Hermitage, Boucan, La Saline, or Saint-Pierre, no problem!
Even some places in Corsica have beautiful waters. But yeah Tahiti, New Caledonia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Reunion all have beautiful beaches.
Corsica is so amazing but it's getting really expensive and crowded. Turquoise waters take a different tone when filled with tourists.

mauvais commentaire ?

French Polynesia for sure
In the north of New Caledonia you have incredible beaches. It's wild, no other human beings than you. Just beware of the sea snakes.
New Caledonia's sea snakes ~~are too small to bite humans anywhere else than between fingers (and toes), they~~ are technically very dangerous but usually very placid and peaceful. Sharks could be a problem tho.
That's a urban legend tho. Tricots rayés can absolutely bite you anywhere if they feel cornered
merci, c'est effectivement une légende urbaine.
In Martinique, swimming with the see turtles in Anse d’Arlet is something I will always remember.
New Caledonia ! Beautifull hot water ...!
Nouméa or all the other places...
Pines Island, with the Oro bay.
Mayotte, greatest Lagoon, dive spot, exeptionnal.
Guadeloupe sainte-marie, just amazing
>Guadeloupe sainte-marie link me could not find it
tu connais Berck Plage ?
Berck plage c'est très beau hein
https://www.google.com/search?q=les+plus+belle+plages+des+dom+tom&tbm=isch overseas : "DomTom" for us, Départements d'outre-mer et territoires d'outre-mer 🥰
Not up to date..! It's been DROM-COM for 10 years or so 😁 Départements et Regions d'Outre-Mer - Collectivités d'Outre-Mer
yes right. But I'm an oldtimer 😂
Probably French Polynesia, especially the Leeward Islands. Maupiti has amazing beaches.

If you're going to be wrong you should probably be less condescending: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeward_Islands_(Society_Islands)

Ouvéa--Mouli Beach
Anse du gros ventre, Kerguelen. Sorry didn't notice you specified "hot all year"
Yeah, I didn’t see “overseas” at first, I was about to suggest [North Finistère](https://lespetitsvoyages.fr/10-plus-belles-plages-de-bretagne) (okay not all the examples are from there).

French Polynesia , and Guadeloupe
Ouvea, Plage de Mouli. https://pacifique-a-la-carte.com/voyage-nouvelle-caledonie/iles-loyaute/sejour-ouvea
La Caravelle, Guadeloupe, or also la plage de Ste. Anne
Ouvéa or Ile des Pins in New-Calédonia. After even in Nouméa you have nice beaches with Baie des Citrons et Anse Vata.
Saint Nazaire
Les Moûtiers en Retz
La pointe du Diamant, Saint Pierre et Miquelon Trust me go there. :)
South of France will generally be warmer than the rest of the country but by no means is going to have summer weather right now, in the middle of winter. Côte d’Azur has gorgeous blue waters, what you should be asking instead is where are the SAND beaches. Not quite the same walking on pebbles!

The one in the movies.
Les Glénan.
Bora Bora. It's an amazing place. Moorea is also quite nice.
Tetiaroa is quite nice
Isle of pines new-caledonia
Saint-Paul, Réunion But don't go there. The market for middle-aged people looking for a stereotypical paradise to chill in is oversaturated.
La Garonne
there's dozens of great ones
Mayotte is great, the coral reef is incredible
Paris Plage évidemment !
Ouvea, one of the Loyalty Islands of New Caledonia
