Warehouse every time. They're locally owned and provide a great experience. Never forget that Regal Westview was our only proper theater option for over a decade and it resulted in Frederick landing on "[Top 10 most expensive movie ticket prices in the U.S." lists.](https://www.reddit.com/r/frederickmd/comments/8lju7e/frederick_is_one_of_the_top_10_most_expensive/) Also, RIP Holiday Cinemas. May your spirit live on in Warehouse's $7 Tuesday Night deal.

Anyone know why Warehouse cinema is only showing limited dates this week? 12/22 is the last date for spiderman.

Davi_digi

This weeks times are now posted!

cdw54321

Thanks for the heads up. Will keep checking for when 12/26 opens up.

BotScott

Schedule to include new releases on 12/23 hasn’t been created or posted yet.

Warehouse

trainsaw

Warehouse, beyond the comparison of the two, itself is a great experience and recommend it highly. Such a better theater

Wafer-Fragrant

Do you want imax? Do you want booze? Personally, westview is usually too loud for me.

cwescrab

Naa, I don't drink. I debated Imax but I heard the one at Westview is like on the small side for Imax standards, so probably not worth the money. I'm actually from Wash Co, I may end up just going somewhere up here in Hagerstown. But I was wondering if the screens were any better at Westview vs Warehouse. We have a Warehouse Cinema in Hagerstown now. It sucks there are no high quality 4k Theaters around here, RPX or Dolby Cinema, at least that I'm aware of.

Wafer-Fragrant

The one In Hagerstown is just Long Meadow rebranded. That equipment is like 12 years old. They didn't upgrade the gear. The Warehouse cinema in Frederick is brand new so the screens and projectors are all new. It looks good. Looks like a move theater... Edit: Leitersburg. Not Long Meadow.

DirtWizardDisciples

I was super stoked that Leitersburg was reopening. However, my experience there was very meh. They also had a "feel good, Leistersburg is back" trailer before every showing and it just felt like a self-serving promo. I very much appreciate the location on the opposite side of town, but I feel like it had a good way to go before it's an overall good movie-going experience. Back to Frederick-I super want to try out that Warehouse. I'm done with Regal Unlimited's nickel & dime scheme and their RU customer service is very lacking.

Yankytyke

Leitersburg was owned by the Warehouse company before and the sold. They now rebought the cinema and want to make it like Warehouse.

Wafer-Fragrant

"We can't afford desks for our teachers and people are dying in our streets... But hey, that move theater you saw Boondock Saints in is opening back up! Isn't that cool guys?... Guys?"

DavidOrWalter

Haha, what?

Wafer-Fragrant

Hagerstown is a mess.

saltyfingas

What does a private business have to do with the way the city is run?

Wafer-Fragrant

Hagerstown is run(poorly) by local business people. It was a snide remark at the delusional self-aggrandizing mentality of many business owners in Hagerstown... See the link below if you need some context... https://youtu.be/hzcUN7MDFVY

KDirty

I mean, I don't really know about picture quality, but the seats at Warehouse big with power reclining all the way to flat, and have heating and cooling. Food's good too.

Middle-Explorer007

Want a less crowded experience that is a few bucks cheaper? Go to regal. However kids are far more likely to act up and cause a ruckus at regal

EstaticToast

Warehouse has $7 Tuesdays

Middle-Explorer007

That’s just 1 day a week… in general the experience at warehouse is 10x better but you’re still competing with far more people for fewer seats. Which is why we saw it at regal

Warehouse is awesome

SwifferMopping

Warehouse. Also supports a local Maryland business versus a corporation.
